Its a pretty great mall. Recommend going on the weekdays when its a little quieter though. Largely Asian catered, the layout is nice as well. Three floors to explore, large food court with variety of options, pretty clean too. Large grocery area for foods of all sorts as well. Many electronic repair shops, some barber shops, gift shops, clothing, I really liked the plant stores as well. I'd definitely recommend stopping by at 'Bona Vista' gift shop!

My husband & I went to Green Bamboo Noodles yesterday after my massage treatment for some pho noodles soup. I can say that the taste didn't change after so many years of coming here for some pho soup on a cold weather day. Love it!

Seen better retail days. The food court keeps it going. Prices are reflective of the times

I love Crystal Mall so much. I can't comment on the authenticity of food and products as I have never been to Asia, but the food court is fantastic and always busy. My favourites are the Xiaolongbao from Shanghai Dimsun House and the House Noodles from Chou Shou Wang. Every stall gives you a remote buzzer so you can order from multiple stalls as they get your order ready. There is also a large produce market with lots of fresh groceries.

Mall is always packed and the parking lot is horrible, but it has everything Asian you'll need, from food to services. Kind of like a chinese night market but only on a grander scale. By the way, make sure you have cash with you as a lot of the stalls don't take credit cards.

I am embarrassed to say that I visited this mall for the first time. It is a conveniently located mall full of Asian stores, a food court with variety of Asian food (not all western type), and 3 hr free parking. I have to say it is one of the underground parkings I hated, going in circles and even passed from the same spot 2 times until I figured out the exit. I will be back to try some yummy Asian food, just wished they all had English menus. I spotted few that have English descriptions and will probably give a try from their menus.

It's a beautiful, little mall with lots of stores where you can have fun and feel like a kid again. It's really important to me that the mall continues to be open.
All of the other outlets around my house are now closed except for the grocery store, forcing us to drive 20 minutes each way.

A lot to choose from, the setting though needs improvement, it's too simple and dull. If you need to turn to lower parking, the turns at corners are challenging, you need extra insurance coverage!
18 January 2022 14:14
Good place for repairs, there are so many options in this mall to get the gadget repaired. Visited a few of them also they sell other electronic goods.
16 January 2022 18:25
Nice to have an Asian mall outside of Richmond. Their food court offers a variety of Asian and SE Asian local cuisines. But parking is a nightmare there.

This mall is very Chinese. It's cool and has great food variety, tried 3 different shops and all were great.

Great little asian mall with great food. If you have a broken electronic like phone or computer ECT it can be fixed here, Jewelry, travel agents, and other stores of various things in them. There is one place in particular I was told about and had to try, it was J&G chicken oh my great portions are a Lil on the lite side but flavor is great. Let's face it BC stand for bring cash. Only thing I had a problem with was the fact they don't take credit as I'm from the USA and can't do debt here other then that everything was decent. I would do 5 stars but the debt issue was not a good way to go about doing biz with me

I am Chinese, born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduated from high school and working for a few years I decided to emigrate from this city because I couldn't stand the rudeness and poor attitude of the citizens in general. Canada was a breath of fresh air. People here are polite, friendly and highly civil.

I’m in my senior years now so I decided to move to Metrotown for the convenience. When I started shopping in the Crystal Mall it’s déjà vu! Seems like all the people with bad attitude and rudeness have all moved here! It’s really sad that these people moved to this wonderful country but never bother to assimilate into this society. I only hope that the Canadians realize that these people don’t represent the good side of culture of another great country – China.

5 juumon points ~

I love this mall so so so much!

I basically grew up in a small and I’ve seen a change over the years. Most places are cash only but that’s not really a problem.

They have the best bubble tea place ever it’s called money tea I would highly suggest visiting and getting their assm milk tea it is my favourite in the city!

If you’re looking for a little bit of fun I would say the crane came stall on the second floor is very cute and there’s always a good chance of winning some thing, also the guy who always works there is very kind and willing to help you exchange almost anything you win for something of equal value.

If you’re looking for some juicy meat, in the market area there’s a place called king BBQ and it has the best HK style meat, I have been visiting them for over 10 years. They are very kind.

I am very sad to see that a lot of places closed down but I hope people will still continue to come and support this mall.

謝謝、再見

Security Dept

I shop at this mall often, and I would usually walk past the security office. More often than not I’d see the security chief sitting in his chair relaxing, either reading newspaper or doing nothing. In the past few weeks I have seen some garbage sitting in the pedestrian area. Today I decided to bring this to the attention of the security office. I pointed this out to the security chief. Nonchalantly he said, “that’s not my concern”. What he meant was he didn’t want to leave his comfortable chair and do his duty. So the garbage will continue to sit there for who knows how long. I just had to laugh.

Pretty cool Asian market to walk around. Sadly, I got there too late and everything was closed, but it looks awesome.

If you are looking for variety, this is the place to go.tasty shawarma, asian cuisine and lots of different options in drinks.bakeries, groceries.
13 October 2021 21:20
The Best place to shop for anything and food court is the best of all to find all Asian foods.
24 August 2021 6:52
Lots of really cool little Asian shops it's like a vibrant little china town talked with people and all sorts of things going on I particularly like the meat shops the barbecued pork at one of them is particularly good a definite place to take the family for an Asian experience

Great place to get fruit and some Chinese products. Clean, not always crowded and easy to access.
07 August 2021 22:56
Great place with a variety of Asian cuisine, stores, and stalls. Parking was the worst part; parking lot was cramped and confusing.
24 June 2021 15:44
I loved this shopping centre, they have many option such beauty, technology supermarkert and restaurants.
06 June 2021 10:55
Very fresh produce in the main floor market. Every Tuesday 10% off on meat. Affordable food court with plenty of choices.
17 May 2021 5:31
Parking and navigation around the area is challenging. Not many variety of shops. Would only go for some of the food places.
16 September 2019 4:39
$2 small hot fresh tofu $5 large. Choose from sweet w ginger syrup or savoury w gravy scrambled eggs and shredded cloud mushrooms. Tuesdays, fridays, saturdays, and sundays from 1030am until sold out
06 September 2019 10:57
Parking space and path way is very tight, the food court offer multiple selection of food and decent size. Most of the time need to share table with others. The wait wasn't bad. Just tons of people take over table but not for food. The food court mostly open at 11: 30am. The grocery stores at the main floor have tons of fresh veggie and meat shop. The price is way better than TNT. Just make sure you expect to be squeeze like sardines most of the time.
05 September 2019 2:11
Lot of chinese businesses in the mall. Very very good food that one can afford. Must visit when in Metrotown.
02 September 2019 0:32
The food here is great and affordable! Not to mention Toys Planet upstairs by the escalator, best prices hands down! My kids love their toys.
31 August 2019 18:46
Two words: food court. That alone is worth coming to Crystal Mall! If you enjoy Asian cuisine and markets, you should definitely make a stop here!
23 August 2019 19:20
Mostly Asian groceries, Chinese herbs stores, repair shops (watches, computer), cellphone shop, key-cut at the newspaper booth, bank, travel services, pots & pans, a deli, smaller sit-down eatery, hand car wash in parkade (maybe detailing), etc.

Keep in mind the services and goods mostly cater to the Chinese Community; unless you like to delve into Chinese herbs, they also stores with many varieties of herbs, edible and medicinal.
Parking is free for the 1st 4-hours.
If you exceed the 4 hours you need to pay.
They have attendants on duty who moniter the parkade.
16 August 2019 14:18
Key cutting is a rubber. Big mouth shoe repair guy. Both key cutting is very expensive & rubbing.
Just saw a cheap otomatic key cutting at wall mart really cheap the only cheap ting there get 3 keys at $3.00.each and get 1 Free. Comes to $2.25 each instead of getting rubbed $4.00. Each or more at Christall Mall
14 August 2019 22:41
Tried their food court, and it was a very heavy and full experience. I love Chinese food in general (especially spicy sichuan style!), so I went for the dan dan noodle, and dry spicy dumplings. Both were very good considering the price and the portion.

The only downside here is that they only accept cash, and use of disposable products are inevitable: (
10 August 2019 7:25
Groceries and shops like "chinatown" style that most chinese seniors love with reasonable prices. Underground parking tricky & limited. Food court is good with quite a variety and inexpensive. Very limited table spots so tricky to find space during busy hours.
05 August 2019 2:05
Chinese mall with one of the worst parking in town. Has a good selection of shops, hair salon, restaurant, market area. The food court here is the real gem. Best to park at the library across the street or metro town and then walk over.
28 July 2019 2:08
I think its good quality Mall but im thinking adding more store:). But I a Im lucky i know this Mall~°^^`Also thanks for the Army bomb)
20 July 2019 21:09
Probably as close as you can get to an Asian experience without hopping on a plane. All sorts of shops and services here on two circular levels. The lower level is bisected by a breezeway and courtyard. Not all stores keep the same hours as the mall's 9am to 9pm.
22 December 2018 23:19
As far as I am concerned, this is the only Asian mall in Burnaby, British Columbia. I usually go there for haircut, food at food court, and Asian grocery shopping. Because the floor layout is a circle, it may not be easy to locate a particular shop unless you have been there for several times. Some of the shops are only accessible outside of the building, which makes it harder to find certain shops. Underground parking is also in circle, so parking space is a bit odd, but at least it is covered and free for shoppers.
