Good food and personal pots. Decent service and atmosphere. New bright reno gives a high end feel. Would come again.

This place is so well decorated, I wish for my future mansion to look like the inside of this restaurant. The selection of spices and sauces was not lacking: VERY IMPORTANT!

This was my first time at The Dolar Shop and it was excellent! Tried the beef short plate combo ($40) and the wagyu short plate combo ($50), which comes with endless noodles or rice, and unlimited access to the sauce bar.

Notable mentions:
• The tomato broth and spicy broth were delicious. Probably the best tomato broth that I have tried so far!
• The sauce bar has a huge variety of sauces for you to create the perfect sauce. If the sauce bar didn’t wow you, the waitstaff also offer to create you the signature sauce, which was delicious!
• Also at the sauce bar is fresh fruits, kimchi, and edamame as a light appetizer!
• After 9pm, mostly everything is 20% off (excl.alcohol and combo sets)! Definitely a great deal.
• The service was AMAZING. The waitstaff are very attentive and kind.
• Unlimited ice cream is included in your meal!

Overall, this is a great place to grab hot pot!

Overall a good dining experience. Waitress will introduce service at this store if first timers. You got your own choice of items to place on a pad screen, order to be placed seamlessly. Fresh ingredients and unique cone ice cream included after the meal. The pot may be slightly small for gents but can be popular for ladies.

Ordered the set meals and it was super good! On the pricier side normally
so definitely go during happy hour (we went after 9pm). Unlimited rice or noodles and ice cream with the set meals ;)

My favourite dolar shop location! Best place for individual hot pot. Service is always top notch here but prices are expensive so if you want to try it out go during happy hour!

Very clean and relaxing atmosphere! Good foods and service, too! Really liked we get individual pot. Decent dessert bar as well.

Review for my friend (i was not there). My friend gave a $5 tip and the waiter told him it wasn’t enough. He was quite embarrassed so another friend whipped out a $20 for the waiter.

I thought tipping is optional? I wish i was there and ill be sure to give $0 if I ever go back.

Our first Hotpot visit and a friend suggested this place. Such a great experience. Even tge owner came out and helped us with the set up and showed us how to use the pots. Gotta say every hotpot we go to from now on has to live up to tge dollar shop.

Hands down the best hot pot I’ve ever had in my life. On the pricier side but worth every penny. The service is exceptional, the food tastes great, and the quality of the meat is amazing. The ice cream at the end is the perfect way to end your meal.

Easily the best hot pot I have been to. The food is amazing, but the services is spectacular! Everyone is very polite, happy to answer any questions, and always checking in to make sure you're ok. I will only go to the Dolar Shop for hot pot, from now on!

Always a Hugh fan of dolar shop. Would say that they are one of the best hotpot space in Vancouver! But their price is higher as well. This works perfectly for me as I would still be full by bed time lol.
Doesn’t matter how full I am, their free ice cream is still a must have! Even the macaroon taste good the the ice cream has strong milk taste which I absolutely love!

Super clean! Great selection, my daughter's love to go with me before a movie. 2-5pm and 9pm-11pm is 30% off. Salad bar included, free ice cream available for dessert.

Very good quality food especially the Wagyu beef. The soup base is very tasty and you get free ice cream for dessert. Service was excellent, very courteous and helpful

I was blown away by the food here. I came from China but this is probably the best hot pot I’ve had in my life so far.

Good place with premium ingredients and soups. Had a large family dinner in the room and service was attentive. Very clean, enjoyable, and so far sets the bar for premium hotpot here.

Was able to get there early when they were having happy hour. Food was good, soup bases were good. Because we did happy hour, finished before 5pm and they gave us 30% off the bill

Food and service is great but price is a bit high for what you get. We just had hot pot for four and it came to 240 dollars including tip. We didn’t order anything fancy so it’s quite expensive in my opinion.

Most expensive Hot Pot I have ever been to. The place looks great. We went during Happy Hour with 30% Off (Mon-Fri 11: 30-17: 00). $3.99 per person for the sauce station with unlimited refill of sauce, fruits, and snacks. Excellent customer service.
