The Driftwood Inn

During our Christmas stay at Driftinn Hotel in Schelt, we impressed by the friendly behavior of the staff. Our experience was made even more remarkable when they accommodated our request to change rooms twice, handling it with utmost grace and welcome. The hotel itself exudes a cozy charm, complemented by the stunning ocean views that added a tranquil backdrop to our stay. This peaceful ambiance was exactly what I, my mother, and my son needed for our holiday retreat. While the facilities might not be the newest, their quaintness adds to the hotel's character, making it a reasonable choice for those seeking a blend of comfort and simplicity. Overall, N Hotel in Schelt provided a serene and memorable Christmas experience for our family. "

The room was decently renovated for the most part. Bed was comfy. Clean. Monogrammed towels. Standard bathroom otherwise. It was located near the ocean and shopping.

BEDBUGS! We booked a couple rooms for a work crew to stay in. One of our guys found bed bugs in his room. When we brought this to the owner's attention he was incredibly rude and said they weren't bedbugs but some other type of bug. Photos attached so you can be the judge of that. Refused to refund or provide any sort of compensation even though our guys had to leave a day early due this situation.

It was grubby, and dirty, we had to wash our floors they smelt terrible. The curtains were moulding and there was dirt and cob webs everywhere. The showers had mould and so did the Mirrors in the bathroom I’m incredibly disgusted with the state of this hotel and I refused to stay longer then I had to. DO NOT STAY HERE

Room way too expensive. Room was small dark and noisey. No plug in small bathroom sink. This is like an economy motel. Only good thing was the access to the beach. Very few rooms have ocean view most rooms are at the back opening onto the car park.

Not clean.you could hear the people in the adjacent room.smelled musty.bring your scuba gear.a deep dive for sure. Restaurant good.i have had too stay their several times over past years.beacause of lack of accoomadiion. Bring some ear plugs you will need them

Awesome place. Simple, clean, comfortable. Would highly recommend the restaurant. Best Chinese food I’ve found in all of BC.
