The Drive Canteen

The staff here are always so friendly. Every time I have a question or ask for a suggestion, I’m met with warmth and generosity. Their snack selection is unreal, their hot dogs are the best, and their non-alcoholic wine selection is really good. A great addition to the drive!

No joke, my daughter calls this Mac n cheese Glizzie with the sriracha ketchup “the best hot dog I’ve ever had in my life” and then promptly requested for this to be her birthday lunch. It’s ok, it’s not so fancy that it’s a once a year birthday thing, and we’ll be back well before her birthday. Also, they have screamers here that don’t break the bank. The large one comes in at around $5. Hot dog was $8-9.

Amazing little convenience store! Picked up a pair of shoes from HySoles, and devoured some of their amazing nacho's! Definitely would recommend checking this place out

Must try the cereal milk milkshake!

The decorations and vibe in the space is notable and definitely worth a quick peak in to browse and appreciate their hard work.

Love their nacho bar - you can choose from a variety of toppings and flavours, such as my favourite "cool ranch" style! The hot dogs or "glizzies" are fun too with unique names. They use quality meat from Two Rivers. I also come here for all their zero-proof options - there are so many to choose from! Best of all, they stock my favourite Elbo Patties and Dicky's Dumps (which can be enjoyed on-site as well).

Place is really cool to check out. They have a little bit of everything from tacos, nachos and hot dogs, to used sneakers, clothing for sale, to chocolate, candy, drinks and peanuts (among other things!). It's the wildest combination but for some reason it works so well! Must try the hotdogs, nachos and tacos. Nothing fancy, just got old home style food that'll make you happy. Staff were really nice as well.

This new spot on the drive does not disappoint! Crushed a box of nachos and two glizzies— make sure to try the cool ranch spice.the service was great, vibes were immaculate.
