The FALL Tattooing and Piercing

I went there hoping they can help me put back my surface that fell off. I had that piercing for more than 10 years so that mean that the hole is healed. The guy didn't really asked questions and ended up wanting to redo a piercing double the size that I had and lower. I ended up at body Jewlz in Metrotown, the girl was really COMPETENT and HELPFUL, she put it back in like it was nothing. For a place that advertise their professionalism in body piercing, I wasn't impressed. They just want your money and think you're a dummy.

I went in for a navel piercing and the experience was great! Pricing was transparent, piercing was done perfectly and everyone was so kind. This will definitely be the only place I’ll ever get my future piercings from.) thank you for my new piercing!

Got my helix pierced by Adam and it was a great experience! It was my first piercing since my lobes when I was a kid so I was a bit nervous but they were so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Will definitely be going back for another piercing once this one is healed.
Was very happy with the jewelry selection as well. Coincidentally, I lost an earring the day before my piercing so ended up getting new lobe earrings too. I was set on 14k gold and there were so many really cute ones to choose from!

Super late review but I still think about how unfair this experience was until today so I thought I would share - I had booked an appointment here pre Covid and due the outbreak of the pandemic had to be repatriated to my home country. They charge a fee to secure an apponment and it’s non-refundable which I understand in normal circumstances, however I cancelled my apponemnt due to unforeseeable circumstances out of my control. Covid was a hard time for everyone, it sucks they kept my money because I couldn’t make this appointment even though I explained the circumstances and was willing to provide proof.

Went there to get pierced. You can schedule appointments online, didn't need to wait long for someone to be available. In the studio there's a great atmosphere, piercer and front-desk staff were really kind and professional. Only downside is that even initial jewelry is really expensive and not included in the quoted price.

Definitely an awesome place. Everyone in the shop was super nice and it was clean and inviting. My group got tattoos and piercings (all walk ins).

Hands-down the best place to get pierced. I work a few blocks away and get asked a surprising amount of times (like a lot) for recommendations for a piercer/body jewelry and I always recommend Chance at the Fall, everytime. He is knowledgeable, patient, skilled and a legit chill dude and has been my go-to piercer for years (I have many piercings). Front counter human Amanda is the sweetest coolest chick you will ever meet and absolutely EXCELS at her job. Everyone I’ve met at The Fall is friendly, but these two are the best.

Oh yea, and just like your momma told you - kindness doesn’t cost a thing, so remember to BE KIND and please treat people at The Fall with respect. I also work in retail and know people can be so rude - don’t be that asshat person and ruin someones day.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. My sister and I were in town for a girls weekend away. We called that morning and they fit us in. Jesse was beyond patient and knew exactly what we were thinking. The staff are prompt and knowledgeable and helpful. Shout out to Rick as well who did my sisters Tattoo. We love them they are perfect!

Amanda, the sales manager, has supplied exemplary customer service every time we have gone in there. All front of house staff have been more friendly than any other shop I've been to. Chance the piercer makes experiences more comfortable than one could plan for. The customer service here is exemplary from everyone especially these two Amanda and chance whom we had the pleasure of dealing with.

I had the best experience with Tetiana. She is a true professional, knows her work and does it with a passion not everyone has! She created the perfect tattoo out of ideas I pitched her! I absolutely love her work. It is truly impressive how she is able to work with colors and shades and combine anything and make it a masterpiece! I never thought I‘d get a tattoo of the disney fox from fox and hound in combo with an accordion - my first musical instrument and still my favourite. I never thought I’d love the idea of this combination as much as I do. Tetiana truly is at the top of her game and I would recommend her service to everyone out there with a fun idea and love for a watercolor tattoo!
Her service was amazing - from the booking of the consultation to updates on the design to the day of the tattoo and even after for the aftercare routine she is always quick to answer any questions/concerns.

Personal is really nice, my friends got her ears pierced for her birthday. For me it’s crazy overpriced since I’m from Europe and lobe piercings are never over 30$ in there. But my friend went for it, since apparently this is the pricing here in Canada

My boyfriend and I got some tattoos done by Rick. He did awesome and we are both very pleased with the results. While I was waiting for my boyfriend to finish getting tattood then had a no show for a piercing they remembered i asked about a peircing the day before but were booked up so they offered me the spot and was able to get in for a septum piercing from Aliya.the staff were friends and very welcoming

Matthew was an amazing piercer. He gave me two helix piercings. He was very methodical, kind, and professional. If I have any more piercings, they'll only be done by his hands.

I got a conch piercing here with Chance Sledge and I was a bit nervous at first.
He told me to inhale and on a deep breath out he would do the piercing which actually helped out a lot.
I don’t have a lot of piercings but I found that it made me less nervous and he was very informative with all the after care instructions. I was very happy afterwards and the place had a really good cozy feel to it.

I got a tattoo with Bunni Lai back in November. It was my first ever tattoo so I was nervous, but Bunni was very patient and helpful. The tattoo itself turned out amazing, I love the design and the color work. They walked me through aftercare, and I even called back maybe twice in the month after when I had questions. They were always super helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend Bunni and The Fall.

I recommend the Fall to anyone looking to get a tattoo or piercing in Vancouver. The space itself is clean, inviting, and really nice! The staff are professional, kind, and very helpful. Chance pierced my helix, which had been previously pierced (but went crooked) under the care of another artist. He was great about my concerns and my questions. My piercing has been healing up great and I'm incredibly happy with the results. I definitely plan to get any future piercings with him.
Dugyu designed and did my first tattoo, which I am so happy with. I cannot wait to get more tattoos with her in the future! She's so talented.

I came in for a freehand tattoo done by guest artist Josh. The staff here are so friendly and kind. The shop is clean and beautiful. My tattoo turned out more amazing than I could’ve ever imagined. I will be going back for any future tattoos and piercings!

I cannot recommend the Fall tattooing and piercing highly enough! I came in for a nose piercing change (after having not changed my piercing for a veryyyy long time) and they were super helpful in explaining the pressure-fit system that their piercings use. There was a large selection of very high quality nose piercings in silver, rose gold and yellow gold. My nose piercing was swapped to a pressure-fit piercing extremely easily and I felt totally reassured by their sanitisation of the jewellery beforehand. Definitely go here for all of your piercing needs! They are fantastic.

This place is THE BEST piercing shop in Vancouver! I had a traumatic experience at Arcane with my Philtrum piercing and I came into The Fall and they were absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and professional. Matthew is an amazing piercer and I highly recommend him for all your piercing needs. Thank you so much!

UPDATE: I had my philtrum pierced by Matt yesterday and he was absolutely wonderful! It didn't hurt at all and he was super careful and kept me calm throughout the procedure. He totally eased my mind with the whole experience because I was traumatized from my experience at Arcane. He did amazing lining it up exactly how i wanted it.it was honestly THE BEST piercing experience I've had yet. I will definitely not be letting anyone else but him pierce me from now on. Thank you so much Matt! Can't wait to get my lip done.see you soon

Can highly recommend. I got a conch piercing here a couple of months ago. It was very well done, I didn't have any issues, zero pain, no infections. I was well-instructed on how to care for the piercing and I am very happy with the result. Thank you, Chance & team!

Had my daith pierced and it was a great experience! It was my first time getting pierced on my cartilage and I was scared but excited when I was on my way to The Fall. Matthew eased my anxiety and made me feel comfortable. He was chatting with me and it made me forget about why I was scared in the first place. I had an excellent experience at The Fall for some tattoos with my amazing artist Sarah Grisdale. From start to finish my experience was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The studio was super clean and they took COVID protocols very serious. Now for Sarah she was so professional, personable and a super talented artist. I landed here by chance. I went ahead with it because the shop seemed nice and I could get an appointment a few hours later. I'm glad that I ended here. I had my left ear pierced by Matthew, and I have to say that he is very good with his hands; I didn't feel a thing. Finally, they offer a nice jewelry collection as well. I guess, I would've gone with a mainstream earring if not for here!

I was looking to replace my dermals in July, and this Matthew Masterson guy had told me to find him on social media and book/order through him. I sent an email and message on Facebook with no reply in 3 months. Thumbs down for this place.

Got two helix piercings done here, very professional and they are a member of APP (Association of Professional Piercers) so you can be comforted in the knowledge that their sterilizing, piercing technique and knowledge are up to date and up to very strict standard. Will come here again and recommend to others for any future piercings

I had my helix done by Matthew in a last minute appointment and he was so funny and amazing at what he does. The whole process was super professional and the other team members were so kind. Great selection of artists and jewelry to pick from too! Definitely my go to studio!

I had a healing rook piercing fall out in the night and my usual shop, Arcane, was closed the next two days (weekend during the weekdays!) I was able to schedule an appointment online at The Fall for later in the day.
Their location is huge, super clean, lots of jewelry to pick from, cool decor. Very knowledgable staff; the piercer I had replace my jewelry gave me a few tips for helping my cranky rook heal better that have worked!
I have no preference between here and Arcane - if you're looking for skilled piercers either one is excellent. Both are wheelchair accessible, clean, unusual decor, fantastic staff, wide range of jewelry to select from for your piercings.
Just get your rook done with a threaded end not a pin if it's your sleeping side

Much gratitude to Matt for doing my 2nd earlobe piercings! He was so patient with me when I was being overly perfectionistic with the placements. He explained everything until I was completely comfortable. Most importantly, he is highly skilled. I had essentially no pain or bleeding, they are healing super fast and look amazing. If you are like me and just going to get "normal" earlobe piercings, please do not let his photo on the website deter you. Matt is professional, kind, gentle and trustworthy! If it wasn't for Covid protocols, I would have given him a big hug after he did my downsizing!

I came to The Fall when I found out I needed my body piercings out for surgery. Matthew Masterson was able to use gorilla glass jewelry to replace my body piercings so they wouldn't grow over. This was a clever and perfect solution. I went back and got my conch pierced today. Matthew is funny, attentive, professional and my experience was excellent. Very clean, very cool and I'll be going back! I would highly recommend Matthew and The Fall staff to anyone who is looking. Thank you again!

Geoff Funk is a Phenomenal artist, I have been A client of his for 11 years and he never Fails to put a smile on my face. His work speaks for its self & he always puts everything he has in every piece. Not only he is great at what he dose, he’s a terrific conversation every time. I 100% would recommend him.

Terrible customer service; called for a consultation with Geoff and got an appointment for Sunday the 8th. On Sunday at 12PM someone called me to say Geoff has called and sick and I have to come at a different day, so they rescheduled me to Sunday t he 15th at 4: 30. Fast forward to Sunday 15th and I go there at 4: 30PM. After waiting for 30mins and being told it’ll be 2 mins, of course no body showed up and I decided to leave and not get insulted for longer. I work at customer service and this was a disgusting experience. I’m just sorry for people who treat others this way.

Sarah at the Fall is an amazing tattoo artist! I wanted to get started on a floral sleeve tattoo and Sarah brought the idea to life. I had a rough idea of what I wanted and the tattoo turned out even better than I had imagined. One of the things I was super impressed with is her placement choices and I love the way the tattoo sits on my arm. I have been to The Fall several times now and Sarah as well as all the other staff are so welcoming and friendly. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but I had to share my awesome experience with The Fall so far and I will definitely continue going to Sarah whenever I want to add more to my tattoo.

I can’t be happier with Matt, he did my rook couple weeks ago and it was painless and healed super quickly which gave me confidence to get more piercings. Yesterday he did my daith and I’m happy to say that after a day of it being sore today it’s basically pain free. I’m amazed with his professionalism which made the healing process such a breeze.

I’ve shopped here and been tattooed here before and always had a good experience, but yesterday was my first time being pierced here and it prompted me to leave a review.
Matthew had already sterilized the jewelry and was ready to go, but when I asked for a different gauge he was very accommodating and started again from scratch, showing me the jewelry before sterilizing again to make sure we were on the same page. I really appreciate that he didn’t seem annoyed or rushed at all, just determined to make sure we were aligned. While I was waiting, I saw other team-members helping clients by answering questions, talking through aftercare, and Amanda even called someone a cab post-tattoo at their request.
When finding the exact piercing placement, he made sure I was 100% happy with the positioning of the piercing before going ahead. He also answered all of my questions and made the experience relaxing and fun.
I’ll continue to come here for all of my body modification needs because the staff are not only highly professional in their field, but they’re also friendly, patient, and so helpful. Thanks Matthew, and the whole team at the Fall!

Wow. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. I initially went for a piercing consultation with Chance, who ended up doing my piercings. Chance was extremely professional and friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I was nervous due to the sensitive nature of my piercings but I had literally nothing to worry about. My body was respected in the space, and the level of cleanliness went above and beyond. Highly recommend getting pierced here. Amanda at the front desk was super helpful and kind as well. Just an all around good experience.

The fall tattooing and piercing is my favourite piercing spot. Both Matt and Chance keep an extremely sanitary piercing room, and they only pierce you with titanium pieces or better. They're both super professional and really kind, as is the rest of the staff and tattoo artists I've met. The tattoos here are amazing too, I have one tattoo from Cristina and Rick, and I continue to get compliments on them both. Kudos to the fall, I'll most certainly be returning in the future.

The Fall seem to have a lot of talented artists. When I was ready to get some new tattoos I chose Sarah and my experiences have been excellent. She’s collaborative, careful, and friendly. From my visits to the shop I got to know more staff and recently I went back to get my ear jewelry upgraded. Matthew and Amanda took great care of me. They were patient while I decided on jewelry, the service was excellent and efficient. The Fall carries a lot of cool body jewelry.

We were in town on vacation and 4 of us walked in to get matching tattoos. The staff at the desk was so friendly and welcoming. I popped in tonight as I was walking up the street to a different piercing establishment. I asked if they could accept a walk in. I wanted to get a second nose piercing. Matthew was a real pleasure to work with. He is pleasant, knowledgable and has mad piercing skills. The shop is clean and the art is amazing! I would highly reccomend them.

Smart, friendly and professional people! Came to The Fall for my first tattoo, everyone I spoke to there made the experience worthwhile! I was done by Lala, she worked out two different personal design options for me from three photo references in under 20mins. Roll on a month later, all healed up I'm still loving the work she's done! Everyone at The Fall is a legend!

My friend and I dropped by today to get some lobe piercings done. I've been pierced by Chance on a couple of occasions while he was working at a different shop. I got a larger gauge lobe piercing today and he's just as good as I remembered. I knew he was a gem but seeing how careful and sterile he was while he was piercing my friend's earlobes made me realize how good he is at his job. All of my piercings with him (daith, rook, lobes) were done smoothly and pretty painlessly. Chance's technique is pretty phenomenal, the needle goes through before you really have a chance to feel pain. I'll be back in a few months to start stretching my lobes and for a second rook when I have the chance. Matthew was really lovely as well, super helpful when filling out forms and helping you pick out jewelry. Thanks guys:)
