Location is great, just know you'll have to climb that steep hill Staff is welcoming and friendly, ambiance is great. The automated check-in works without problem and the rooms are nice and clean.

A place where you can have a good time with a wide variety of food and drinks. Delicious and affordable, service is excellent.

We booked this for the night and arrived about 11pm. Nice clean amd updated rooms. Mini fridge, cool AC and some great Rossland coffee. No keys required as thr door has a passcode assigned to you. Highly recommended staying here.

Couldn't have been better! Our lunch was incredible. The staff were very accomodating and attentive regarding my daughter's food allergies, even contacting the local creamery to find out about cross contamination. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

It was our second time here, we stayed one night for a layover in Rossland before heading back to Vancouver. Room was clean and spacious and well equipped. Would not ask for anything more.

Excellent pub food, beer selection, and service. Glad that we arrived up early because it was busy by 6pm on a Wednesday.

Went here our first night in Rossland and it was awesome. Had some tacos and beer which was great. They have a stage and live music as well which would be really cool.

Handled our large group excellently. Food was quick.waitress amazing. Organized everyone liked their meal.

Poutine was Great pub style menu! John Candy burger was awesome as well.

Burgers, drinks and atmosphere were great. Fries came out cold but the burger is all I needed. Would definitely try again.

Busy nights both time I went due to most other options closed. Wait was reasonable to get in. Service was good and friendly. Menu had wide cuisine variety and tried Babimbap and Fish n chips between 2 visits. The babimbap was pretty good. The fish was way too fried to enjoy.

A nice little place, with a good menu and a very nice selection of beer. We tried several different tacos, and the Poke Bowl. We enjoyed both the beer and the food. Overall, would certainly return.

I stayed at the Flying Steamshovel Inn on my way to Ontario. What a fabulous room, so clean and newly renovated with thoughtful touches. Ryan was so thorough with his instructions and we had no trouble finding the hotel or getting into our room. Had a great sleep, super comfy bed and loved walking around Rossland before a long day of driving. Would highly recommend!

I had the Poke bowl - tuna sashimi style. Very Japanese as to the presentation, the colours and tastes. And cut to the right size, ready to be savoured.

This friendly neighborhood pub was the only place open later Sunday evening and I really appreciated getting a bite to eat. It was a delight to be served delicious food from friendly staff. The rum hit the spot and the menu had lots of vegan options as well as the traditional pub food items. It was a good experience.

MT. Begbie beers were awesome and the food was delicious. Menu offered wide variety of food items.

Nice pub with friendly and courteous staff. Drinks were good I had a local craft pale ale while my wife had a virgin caesar; their caesars (drink) are absolutely delicious! My wife and I each had a burger, Chorizo Burger for myself and a John Candy Burger for her each with caesar salad and we're happy with what we ordered they were fantastic!

This was a 5 star evening till the end. We were 2 couples having drinks, appies and dinner. The food was very good, service although slightly overbearing was very good as well. We certainly didn't feel ignored. We paid our bill and tipped generously being very pleased with our evening. We were preparing to leave when a young man approached us and stated that he needed the table and we had to leave in 10 minutes. He was quite short with us and did not offer any other options such as asking if we minded moving to another table. Diplomatic he was not. We asked to speak with the manager and he bluntly said he was the manager and left the table. This could have been handled in a number of different ways that would have left us with a positive experience instead of a bad taste in our mouths. We will surely think twice before returning.

What an amazing experience! I sat down at the bar on a Wednesday night after a long day on the town. The wonderful bartender mixed me up my special drink. I sat and drank it next to a patron called Kyle, it was evident he liked to party. An English man from the kitchen whipped me up a scotch egg (on a bed of mustard). There was a very friendly polish server as well as an Italian man. Everyone was looking good and everything was tasting like it should. 10/10 will probably return.

Absolutely wonderful experience, delicious cocktails, and food. I was very impressed with both the service and the product. We had dinner here twice, and enjoyed it very much both times.

Huge and wide variety menu. Really good food and drinks. My group ordered a bunch of different things and everyone was happy. I had the tacos and was happy.

Great food and friendly staff! The fried brie appy was the perfect size to share, loved that it came with a whole roasted garlic bulb. The bibimbap with cauliflower was fresh, colourful and delicious - I want a whole bottle of that sauce. Tacos also got a thumbs up from my date. Rossland beer on special was great. Finished up with the skillet cookie and ice cream - indulgent without being sickly sweet, perfect end to a fab meal. Will be back next time we're in town!

Good food; borderline great food, but the service was lacking the night we went.our waitress came once to take our order and we only saw her again when it was time to pay, someone else came to deliver our food, this other server also asked if we wanted more drinks and we did but she only brought the alcoholic drinks, a third person came once we had all finished our food + placed empty plates and water glasses at the end of our table but it was only when I asked for a refill on water it was delivered.the cauliflower tacos were good! Just not great when you’re left thirsty after one taco and you’ve got two more to go ¯_ (ツ) _/¯

Came into town after a 3 hour drive and it was really good! The service was amazing and our server was very attentive and nice. The food was great. The hot and honey wings are more hot than honey so they were pretty spicy but not bad! My boyfriend did say they were a little over cooked but not over done to the point of having to get new ones. There were a couple weird extra charges to the bill - $1 for ranch with the wings (everywhere else I’ve been it comes with the wings), $4 for a fountain pop and an extra dollar if you wanted a strawberry margarita compared to a regular lime one. Other than that it was really good would definitely come back.

Creative and delicious food, good choice of BC wines. Very friendly service. Wish we didn't live so far away.

Great food and service! Lots of beers on tap to choose from and the food is SO good! The cauliflower wings are so good, we had to get another plate. They've got vegetarian options and some vegan options!
