Newest releases and home style popcorn and friendly staff. What’s not to like.

Fantastic movie theatre, very unique in character. Comfortable and good quality experience. A gem on the island

We absolutely LOVE our Fritz Movie Theatre. Come and see movies like they're supposed to be viewed. ON A MOVIE SCREEN with popcorn (and even yeast). We are SO grateful for its existence. Do check it out and tell others. Wendy and Corrie (longtime fans of the Fritz).

First time at this theatre and i love it. The guy at the ticket booth with glasses had lots of knowledge about the movie which was epic

This theater is the best on Salt Spring Island (also the only public one, but that makes it great)!
The movies are generally pretty good and the overall experience is nice.
Seating is great, the screen is good and the speakers are very acceptable. The sound will not blow you away like in the bigger cinemas but it does the job quite effectively.
Washrooms are accessible and clean enough.
Food and drinks can be bought in the back of the theater, the popcorn is great.
Parkin is plentiful and easily accessible.
Overall, the experience is unique and definitely worth it.

It is very unique, almost like time travel. I love sitting in a small movie theatre like this, it brings me back to my childhood. Everyone is really personable and you feel valued as a customer…I also love that you have an input and you can vote for movies you want to see. Just go to their website…I hope they will never go out of business!
