The Grand Buddha Bistro

I attended a birthday party which was the best experience and at the best place. The food was delicious and I enjoyed it a lot. The major thing was it was pocket friendly for students.

The Buddha bistro is a great place to eat! The food is delicious and goes down very well and you don’t feel gross and that bloated after you eat. The waiters are very caring and make sure you have a great time there! You can also get some boba tea which is very amazingly delicious! I went last week for lunch and I couldn’t believe how expensive everything is now. A pho used to be $18, now it’s $24.99. That is insane! The chicken vermicelli used to be $19, now it’s $24.99. Those are huge price hikes. I can’t justify that, even with the increase in food prices. This isn’t New York City for god’s sake. Truly disappointed.

Biggest joke in town. New owners clearly don't have the slightest what Vietnamese food even is, let alone how to run a restaurant. When you are out of 80% of your menu, tell us up front, not after we order. Also doubling the price of your product and halving the quality is not a recipe for success

Many different owners so hard to peg this one. Authentic but average food. Did not eat in, just takeout.

For a pad thai that was more than $25, I would expect a bit more than 4 pieces of chicken and noodles (with a bit of iceberg lettuce on top). I found the food too sweet and a lack of spice and vegetables. Service could be better (polite staff but did not check food or clear tables at any point)

We ordered two rare beef pho over the phone for pickup after checking out the menu online. They didn't give us a total over the phone, and when I went to pick up and pay for our food I found out that they raised their prices from $18 to $24 a couple days ago, so it was a bit of a shocker when I went to pick up the food. It definitely wasn't the best pho I've ever had, but it wasn't bad. The beef was way overdone, so that was pretty disappointing. And there was only one leaf of basil in mine. I probably won't order from here again.

Very nice service, we tried many dishes, we tried the new launched menu, my husband had the deep fried chestnut pork Korean double fried wow he said it was delicious & the displays of the food was nicely plated, great portions & the server helped with my dietary needs. A great place for date night or a night out great children’s menu as well! Well done

Excellent service from Davinder. Food was tasty and nicely presented. Potions were large. Bring your appetite. We recommend.

Very good, we were a group of 5 had various dishes and everyone was very happy with the food. Our server was also outstanding

Ordered vegetable vermicelli. It used to be vegetarian if ordered with a different sauce, but under new owners the recipe has changed and they now cook the vegetable spring rolls with chicken broth and fish sauce. When asked at a different date not long after, they told me it was vegetarian, but the recipe did not change as per an employee.

Great food and service! The Pho is unreal and the chicken wings are very very tasty. Nice little gem in Castlegar
