My dad was formerly in computers and a major hoarder.
These guys were able to take everything off my hands and properly refurbish, recycle, or otherwise get rid of all the old computer parts efficiently and without any hassle, even for parts made before I was born.
Much better than sending all this stuff to the landfill. To know that some of these parts got a second life or were at least recycled properly is good for peace of mind.

I got a cheap used monitor from here a few months ago. Friendly service and great prices. Seems like they have a selection of used laptops and computers as well. Will definitely check those out if I need to buy a new laptop.

Amazing community tech hub - staff are always so helpful and down to chat. Prices are fair, and I never feel like they're trying to rip me off. Would recommend, 10/10

They're so helpful with a new rebuilt laptop. They loaded Ubuntu to be the pressing system. Friendly too.

My business has been using The Hackery, off and on for the last 10 years. I can always count on them to have a part that is needed right away, when I can't wait for Amazon. They also have the occasional rare and hard to find component to keep older systems running, because sometimes a client would rather fix than upgrade.
I want to update this review to mention that the business is under new ownership, and that the level of service, professionalism, care and attention has improved significantly.

Nice staff. They are a good place for finding hard to find components. They also provide pc repairs for a low cost.

Love this place. Very good on a return I needed to make, very helpful and went the extra mile. I'd give them 7.5 out of five if it were possible

Dropped off my laptop on Oct, 19. It is now Nov, 28 and it still hasn't been looked at. (FYI they said 5 business days)
