The Hills Restaurant and Lounge

We went to The Hills for the Santa Brunch this morning, and it was great. Yes, the restaurant was understandably busy with it being the holiday season and a weekend but the staff, chef, and owner were all extremely accommodating and appreciative! The food was awesome, and getting to visit Santa without having to go to a busy mall was absolutely an added bonus.

Kudos to Kira and the whole team at The Hills, thanks for being a great option for the residents of the Douglas neighbourhood!

Fantastic time and amazing food and drinks with awesome service! Very sad to have only just found this gem to find that it’s changing to be a sports bar in the new year.

We recently went to the Hills for a wedding reception and it was outstanding! The food was absolutely delicious and the venue is beautiful! The staff go out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect. We would highly recommend his restaurant for either a special occasion or a quiet dinner for two anytime!

We’ve been coming here pretty regularly for a few years. Unfortunately the food is really going down hill. Hamburgers today which were reputed to be “really good” were obviously rewarmed and the buns were freezing. Pretty gross for $23. Can’t really recommend this place.

We have enjoyed many meals here, and two prime rib nights, our first group was six and last Sunday we had a party of 14 all of whom enjoyed it immensely.

We had a lovely late lunch here and enjoyed it immensely. My fish and chips were great, the fish was moist and tender. We had the best waitress (Madison) who remembered our order down to the small details, and served with a smile. I would be happy to return there and strongly recommend The Hills in White Rock, BC.

Wow, I feel bad for the Staff here!

I went to the Hills Restaurant for Lunch with my husband and child, what is a beautiful golf course and should have been an amazing lunch was interrupted by the supervisor screaming at staff. The staff were working so hard, but it was clear the supervisor was grumpy and nothing was going to change her attitude. It ruined the entire atmosphere of the restaurant.

Recommendation to Management, if you want to keep your staff, let go of the Blonde Supervisor as hearing her berate staff is not enjoyable and we will not be returning.

Amazing experience, would highly recommend. Room setting and view were lovely, staff were great and food was delicious. So much attention to detail, toys for our little guy, flowers for mothers day, name out on our reserved table. We will be back!

It isn’t fancy food, but what they serve is well made, tasty, very reasonably priced and with excellent service. It is refreshing to eat at a restaurant that isn’t a chain, supports locals, with an original menu and a beautiful dining room. We overlooked the golf course with a roaring fire beside us while enjoying a three course meal and wine. Will be back!
