The hoke poke

Very very horrible customer service. We made an oline order and they accepted a $100 payment. And when we got there to collect our order, the place was closed. And we have no way of getting a refund or contact their customer service. Don't order online, it's a bloody mess.

Great spot for a quick takeout, happy hour runs from 3pm-5pm Mon- Fri with 15% off is a pretty good deal.

I got the large chef special which changes every now and then, enjoyed the chef special sauce and their marinated tofu very much.

We did online order on April 8 around 3: 30pm to pick up at 4pm and my spouse got there 3: 55pm to pick it up only to notice a sign on the door that they had closed at 2pm. How are they taking orders when they are not even open. We were super hungry and had a toddler too and had to try to find other food quick after that disappointment. They never apologized us for this and just did automatic refund couple days after. Not impressed with that kind of service and will get my Poke elsewhere in the future.

What a great spot. We have never been before, but we will for sure be back! It's casual for sure - but what a treat. Delicious and healthy. Honestly, it's only a couple more bucks than going to another fast food option that will leave you napping.:)

After more than 2 years I came to this place again and it’s still here still good portion and still tasting. I love such restaurant that survived over the pandemic and could keep the quality.

Found my new favourite poke place in the area! I love this style of poke where the ingredients and sauces are mixed together. I also like that the rice is more grainy instead of glued together and that it is warmed up. Overall a great meal!

I work nearby and come quite often for lunch. Always fresh and delicious. Staff are super friendly too!

Unfortunately probably the worst value poke in Vancouver. Everything is extra, without being anything premium about them.

Holy Hoke Poke
We were on a big Vancouver bike ride and we’re starving. Just off 4th I stopped to pull up places to eat and spotted Hoke so we rode our bikes over (bike rack right out front)

I’m glad we stopped in as the price was fair, the serving was huge (we got regular size) and it tasted so good! My friend and I got the “Chefs Special”.

Thanks to our server (counter service) as she was extremely nice and helped us pick out a perfect meal.

Not much seating inside but they do have plug ins to charge phones etc. Also there is no washroom so make note of that if you need to use the “facilities”

Amazing staff and atmosphere, the poke itself was absolutely astonishing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who’s nearby to get yourself a bowl

I LOVE Hoke Poke! I am spoiled, as I think theirs is the best. I’ve been to Hawaii and tried a number; lots in Vancouver. Theirs is super fresh and I love their toppings!

Good, standard poke. Priced a little higher than I’d expect for a small poke bowl but still good.

Very tasty poke. A little different from some of the other places that put loads of toppings on them. The approach here seems to focus on quality. One star removed as the tuna that comes standard is almost like a ground tuna. Ahi is additional (normal) but the albacore is also an additional cost which it normally isn’t.

Don't let this cleverly titled store fool you. The food is even better!

My wife and I ordered three scoops each, and we all but swallowed the food. The main bits (the seafood) was fresh and well seasoned, and the portions were very generous.

This should be your poke fix place whenever you are in Kitsilano!

It was not that great for the price. Selection of toppings was b.s and they don't have a washroom for customer use which I thought was against the law for a food establishment.

The food is good, but the choice of sides is quite limited. They don't have edamame beans: - (. A big minus is that even if you eat in, you'll get your food in paper container with plastic cutlery. And the container is so small it's not possible to mix your food.

Did not enjoy when I last went! The portions were tiny

I love poke. I really do. To the point that I also work in a poke joint. I came there twice and both times I was disappointed. I am always open to try new things but this was the third most disappointing poke (first being laki and second being hula) I’ve had in my life
