I called customer service today and spoke to someone in appliances, trying to arrange pick-up of old appliance and "Chuck" (I'm pretty sure this is his name) went out of his way to sort this out for me. He called back as promised & I just got confirmation pick-up is arranged. Thank-you so much for sorting this out for me- very much appreciated & awesome service!:)
I was extremely shocked how a sales associate treated me at customer service desk for an exchange. She got mad and yelling at me just because I asked don’t you need my card for return? We don’t deserve to be mistreated, we had huge purchases with this company but not any more. We take our business somewhere else. (Her name is Hawnee!)
Chilliwack location Returns are unreliable even with method of payment, pro extra and receipts especially when they charge you for incorrect items from bins that are poorly stocked with incorrect items Manager was useless and they differed me to their customer service line which doesn’t work Poor performance from this location considering that personally and with my two businesses I spend 10 to 12k per month with them I expected more from them on returns especially the weekend manager They track your debits, credit cards and drivers licensing for returns and keep it on file which I’m sure is a violation of the privacy and security acts in Canada
Excellent service received by Store Manager Stephen Kuzma. Returned broken pieces that were packaged and needed replacement. Although the store did not have the same pieces available, they upgraded and gave me a better quality as I originally paid for. In general, the store is very accommodating when returning items. Definitely highly recommended and and thank you again Stephen for excellent service not only with the return but also with purchases on that same day.
Worst policy regarding van reservations. I booked in advance by a week only to have them cancel my booking 4 hrs prior to scheduled booking. Will never use them again. What's the point in reserving. So unprofessional and major inconvenience.
Purchased lawn mower just over a year ago, with extended warranty.after being passed around to 4 different staff all giving me the look like I stole something, I’m told they can’t help me and the company that can us located in Mexico City… took 3 hours to verify my product and I’m still waiting to get at least a replacement mower to cut my grass. Terrible service and worse warranty
I've tried twice now to order a product from them. The first time I couldn't get ahold of anyone. I tried for about a half an hour trying every department. NO one answered ever. The second time the driver said that I don't live where I said I do. And cancelled my order. And when I phoned to complain, I was accused of yelling and swearing, whitch I had not yet. Be angry and yelling are two different things. So I showed her the difference. She did not approve. I don't like being accused of Something I haven't done yet. There system is flawed I'm going to start shopping around at the other stores
I mean why can you say the home Depot has everything you're going to need I find the staff fairly helpful. They have good hours forget the job done early
Diy home renos. Lol. The store is good, could use some more staff though. So many customers wandering around confused where to find things. Myself included. Or, maybe offer a map as people enter.
Calling in today on the off chance they had stock of blue ice and a bolt lock. I had absolutely no idea where either of these products might be. I asked the Meet n Greet Assistant in the entrance, he told me exactly where to find it, and the Assistant in the gardening section was most helpful too. On my way through I had to ask about the bolt lock, a very helpful lady Assistant, actually took me to the exact location for my purchase. All three of these employees went wayy above simply telling me where to find my purchases. Fantastic service. Respect to all three of you, you were awesome.
‘Doug’ is a terrible employee of Home Depot. He’s very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful towards customers. He was insulting and derogatory during this interaction.
Tried to remedy the situation with the manager and she said she’s too busy.
Shocked how Home Depot treats their customers.

Extreme annoying experience at service desk from a lady named Melisa could not get on right track when it comes to customer service.she knowingly refused to answer my attention 3 times as I called her at customer service desk for a query.clear sign of arrogance and bad attitude.
I had a really great experience here. I was buying a lawn mower and trimmer. The person who helped was really great. She was patient and gave suggestions to me which helped my buying experience a lot.
I got everything I needed when I went in. The staff were all very helpful and it is amazing how well laid out the store is for all of your needs. Everything I needed was in stock and the prices are good.
I am very happy and impressed with the exceptional service we received from Nesty who went above and beyond. We had a problem with our fridge and he settled it quickly and thoroughly. There should be a Nesty in every Home Depot.
Good selection, not always everthing in Stock. Check online prices before you go shopping at home depot. Appears this store marks up or forget to mark down items. Happened to me twice, they will match the online price reluctantly.
Always had a good experience at this Home Depot in Chilliwack. Good products and competitive prices. Friendly staff who offer knowledge and service to satisfy their customers.
I give 5 stars for products that are available in the store, but 3 for their staff and who trains them. I know staff always have something to do, but encourage them to reach out to help people when you can. I've been there multiple times and trying to hunt someone down to ask a question is like navigating a Chilliwack Corn maze obstacle. If you have high turnover, something is wrong with what they're doing to retain people
Typical Home Depot. Friendly and helpful staff. I was looking for light bulbs and without asking a staff member immediately jumped in and helped out. We found exactly what we needed.
Lots of good stuff here. Staff are usually awesome although sometimes it's hard to find someone to help you. Usually the staff are fairly knowledgeable but there has been the odd person who wasn't.
I asked someone to help me look for something I needed. The person said they would tell someone to meet me in the aisle I stood there for 20 mins no one showed up. I went back and asked them again and finally someone came to assist me with what I needed
Absolute joke. Asked very specifically if an over the range microwave could be installed to replace my range hood and was told "Oh absolutely no problem! " Promptly got nickel and dimed to the point that the invoice was DOUBLE the price of the unit but whatever at least it will be installed.the microwave is finally delivered and it takes 2 WEEKS for the installer to arrive who promptly tells me that it is not compatible and will cost ANOTHER 150 to install. I'm pretty over it and this point so I send him away and start the process of returning the microwave.
I try to return it to the store and are told I have to organise it to be picked up. I organise the pick up over the phone, they never show up so I have to call back to reorganise it. They FINALLY pick it up after 3 phone calls but then my money is not returned. I call them AGAIN to get my money back and get all the way through the transaction and then are promptly hung up on after an hour on the phone. I assume the idiot on the phone would have at least put my refund through but no. So I call AGAIN and after AN HOUR AND A HALF I am told they have set up a refund account and now I have to go to the store to get my refund. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
to summarise, The people in the store have NO IDEA what it compatible with what, go talk to a professional, these people know nothing.
NEVER buy an appliance from them. The store has no power to do anything so your at the mercy of the morons who operate the phones so you end up being stuck on hold for hours and then hung up on. I will NEVER be going back to Home Depot. Rona, Lowes and Canadian Tire, Congrats you have a new customer
Great customer service especially from the gentleman who answered all my questions about the lawnmowers. I was able to make a good choice and that was down to the very helpful and knowledgeable guy!
Being on reserve land for the Chilliwack band makes this a wonderful place to shop with my status card, saving the taxes is very helpful in saving money. I enjoy being able to buy virtually everything for my house and the kind staff is always helpful. Thank you, I will be back again soon!
I traveled from surrey to Chilliwack just to get the gloves that South Surrey, Scott road or Coquitlam did not have.spoiler alert these guys had em. THANKS CHILLIWACK HOME DEPOT.
Fix your self checkout demagnitizers! How many times do I have to run a faucet I have already paid for across the table? When asking your associate when it will be fixed? Her response was "yes, someday. " There's is no improvement initiative at this store whatsoever!
After searching for specific pipe fittings at 3 other local hardware stores, I made my way to Home Depot to find they simply stocked *everything*, including some pretty obscure adapters. Staff is always helpful and friendly, and the store is clean and reasonably well organized.

Some good customer service representatives there, but have encountered far too man employees there who wouldn't even give me the time of day (especially in the kitchen appliances section)
Had an uncomfortable experience at this store. Went to purchase paint for the first time, and felt that the man at the counter was very condescending. He also did not communicate at all after preparing the orders, which led me to almost taking the wrong can (which he blamed me for and proceeded to make a big deal about behind the counter). It was all very unnecessary, and would make me think twice about going back.
They were very informative and helpful and so friendly staff, and they ensured that surrounding stores had it in stock before sending me to another store. As a disabled person they were very accommodating to my needs. I highly recommend this store.
Had to wait an hour in the line up outside and when i got inside the paint department was barely able to help me and once i gave her all the correct information about the colour name and where it’s from yet she still completely messed it up and i wasted my money since they don’t return paint. Don’t recommend going there their paint. Staff were not helpful one bit.
I love home depot. I can always find someone who has a clue about my latest project and for the most part I get good advice and good product. Sometimes I get home with the wrong product but returns are usually really straight forward and they have been getting better lately. Steve one of the managers is really great if I ever have any problems.
I worked in a big box hardware store for many years. I can tell immediately upon walking in what kind of staff attitude is prevalent. This is a good one. Store is neat and tidy, well stocked and staffed. Knowledgeable also. Good job all!
Jodie and Doug knocked it out of the park today. They are both very knowledgeable on different shop vacuum's. They went over and above when they didn’t have to and also very personable. These two deserve a raise for their great customer service!
