Have been waiting almost 45 minutes for help to get someone to the cutting centre to cut wood. Very long line. Someone called multiple times. Manager says he’s on break and wait ten more minutes. Ten minutes has passed. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Bought a grass-trimmer last year. The battery which has a promise of at least three years service failed and Home Depot sold me another and advised me to go Ryobi for a refund. That is service? Bye bye Home Depot.

Home depot port coquitlam I received very poor customer service from the workers at paint department they seemed annoyed with all my questions, not helpful at all so I left and drove to the other store on United boulevard and they were very helpful so from now on I will just go to the coquitlam store

I booked a rental carpet cleaning machine at The Home Depot last night, bought a commercial concentrated cleaner and a pump sprayer (in order to mix more evenly and spray narrow areas such as stairs), and moved all the things that should be removed from the carpet area at night Remove and vacuum again. I went to pick it up the next morning, with a deposit of 50 yuan. I have 6-7 carpet areas of different sizes, and it took 2-2.5 hours to get them all done. Use 600ml of detergent and add half a box of blue bucket water, put it into the machine, push it forward, spray while walking, pull it back straight and slowly to vacuum the dirty water, and pour out the dirty water 3 times, it is very simple, One person works, and one person is responsible for pulling the power cord. The efficiency is very high, and it will be returned within 4 hours, 25 yuan plus tax. After cleaning, turn on the heating in winter and turn on a large fan in summer to let the carpet dry.

They refunded me less money and asked me to come 3 times to get refund at this scorching hot wheather when they made mistake again and again. I'm never gonna buy any appliance at this Home depot. Horrible customer service and inaccurate refund and no proper explanation

I was looking for a good quality and reasonably priced drill, for personal use, and with the help of Zakiyeh, who was able to purchase the drill with her patience and pleasantness and high knowledge of the products, I am grateful to Home Depot and Zakiyeh.

Ernest was very knowledgeable, dedicated, willing to help above and beyond. I felt a friend was helping me, not an associate in the plumbing department. I had to find and put some parts together but I couldn't find what I needed directly on the shelf. My little project was quite complicated, and the parts I needed were not a quick in and out purchase. Ernest was helping me to put the puzzle together and finding the right combination of parts. I was very satisfied walking out of the store with what I needed to complete my project.
Ernest deserves beyond 5 stars.

Home Depot is just an ok store, I can rarely get help when shopping in the store, and the worse part is when I call the store, they never answer! Home Depot's profit margin was higher by 24% last year, yet they seriously lack customer support and professionalism.

Called at 8: 55pm to ask a question, the store let the phone ring until 9pm then answered/hung up immediately.i understand being close to closing but my question would’ve taken a lot less time than letting the phone ring.wont be coming here.

Always have good service here. I actually had an employee help me get exactly what I required for my bathroom reno right down to caulking and advice.

If you go during busy hours it will be hard to get help because they are busy.

It's a home depot so you can find anything building/material related, my only wish is for more staff to assist, instead of me searching for someone to help

Oh my God I have never seen a busier home Depot in the lower mainland as I have the one in Port Coquitlam and I think that's because there isn't one anywhere else in the Tri-Cities Maple ridge or Pitt Meadows there is two Ronas, one is in Maple ridge and one is in Coquitlam just passed Coquitlam center Mariner and Barnett but they're tiny so that's why we stick to the home Depot. I find the staff at home Depot is very very helpful very kind and very diverse you have your teenager saving up for the first car to a retiree who just wants to make a few extra bucks or to find something to do with their time it's remarkable! They have great hours and they will always go the extra mile for you look on the computer to see what store has what you're looking for if they're sold out of that particular item or how long it'll take they'll see if they have yet I'm in the back just now put it on the shelves yet the cleanliness is great organization is great and the staff work just well together as a team and you feel it you feel the energy when you're in there it's a great place to go and I go there often just to look at the right now it's summertime so I love going to their Garden center gorgeous Flowers displays oh it's fun fun fun it's like a kids playground going to the home Depot so I hope you check it out if you haven't yet and if you do make sure you come back and let me know what you thought!

The workers at this store are all experienced and helpful, no matter the department. They are always there to help me answer my home improvement questions. I always learn something new whenever I visit this location!

I arrived after 9 when Home Depot was closed but explained and the person at the door manager Mike that my yard was flooding due to a broken hose handle. He refused my offer of the money in my wallet but he let me in anyways to buy a handle! And helped me find one! Thank you manager Mike! You're my hero!

This is not even worthy of one star, we paid over $30K for our kitchen cabinets which were supposedly designed by a professional. Through mistakes, and damaged product our kitchen was started in February and it is now the end of July and it is not completed. Don't buy your cabinets here.

It's rare that we don't find what we are looking for. They always seem to have what we need. Sometimes, however, it can be difficult to find an associate to get some advice or help. Once I find someone, it's awesome.

Shopping in store is ok but online OMG! Last May 6 I ordered 2 cellular blinds for my patio door for delivery to my home. They sent me an email saying that my order was successful and gave me a tracking number, which I started to watch. I waited patiently as nothing moved on the tracking bar. After about 3 weeks I got another email telling me my 'Order has been updated', whatever that means, updated to what? They gave me a new tracking number which again I started watching, and waiting, finally on June 1st I got another email now saying My order has been cancelled. Ok so now I am getting a bit antsy and I am not a happy camper but I go back to the website to try yet again. (I was trying to avoid going into the store because of covid, but so much for that) So again I found the cellular blinds but now i cant get them in the size I need, remeasure and figure I can make the smaller size work well enough, place my order once again but this time opt to pick up in the store that very day! So that evening I go 2 towns over to the store to pick up my blinds. Excited I take them home only to discover that one of the boxes had already been opened the manufacturers wrapping was removed from the blind and there is no hardware included. Feeling rather frustrated now I try the blinds out to discover the smaller sizes will not work after all but if I get another blind slightly larger that will work fine! So again I go back to the website, find the place where I ordered the first blind, open the section for the color Parchment Tan chose the 30 inch blind and put it in my shopping cart to be picked up the following day June 2nd and finish the transaction. A short time later I receive an email saying that my order is ready! Great! That's super! Wait! Hold on.my order is ready to pick up my "Natural Beige" blinds? ! No that cannot be right, I know I chose Parchment Tan! I go back onto the website, back to where I found the blind, click into the same section, it opened on 48 inches just like before, says Parchment Tan, so I click on the 30 inch blind and there it is! Natural Beige! Right about now I am chomping at the bit grateful I have the night to calm down before going to the store to return everything. Getting a refund was not a problem, I did try to tell the girl at customer service some of my plight but she mostly seemed quite disinterested and just said, yes we hear that all the time, and did not even offer an apology on behalf of the store, which I just found sad. After that rather disappointing encounter I went down to the aisle, found the blinds I needed, checked to make sure both boxes had hardware, paid and left the store. I am thinking I definitely wont order online with the Home Depot anymore as this wasn't the first time my orders been messed up by them, but this time it was definitely the straw that broke the camels back, that I think I wont bother shopping there anymore at all. Look out Lowe's here I come!

Ordered a new fridge here because my old fridge broke. The ordering process was fine and I was given a delivery date. After that I never got a phone call as promises so I had to call them only to find out they did not place the order with the manufacturer even though they already charged my credit card! The person I spoke to say they have to remit my order to the store via email for delivery the week after but cannot guarantee the store will read the emails right away so it may be delayed. What? ! Are you serious? ! I already have to wait another week without a fridge and they are telling me I may need to wait indefinitely for a new delivery. This is totally unacceptable. This is no doubt an error on Home Depot and yet they are not doing anything to expedite the fixing of their error. Never again will I be purchase anything from Home Depot because they cannot be trusted.

24 hours late on an 800 dollar order. Tried calling the store 3 times and after waiting on hold to a robot for 10 min each time, eventually no one pick ups in the delivery department and eventually the call just ends.

Well, I wish I had read the online reviews of the home depot online store before I tried to use the service.
For those of you with little patience to read, DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT ONLINE.

I ordered critical supplies for my personal business, in store, using the home depot online system. Needless to say it was a disaster.

A week after the supplies were supposed to arrive, I phoned in to inquire, and my case was escalated and I was told it would be a few more days. This cycle repeated 4 times, of home depot missing the deadline, saying nothing to me, escalating the case again when I called, and asking me to wait a few more days.

Finally, when calling today, I was told a refund for the online order was 'issued' but I need to go in to the store where it was placed and harass them for the refund. Just. Wow.

I'm not sure if this system is a scam, poorly managed, or there is incompetence somewhere in the line. It doesn't matter tho. Home depot cannot and should never be depended on for anything, ever.

Ordered online and picked up in store. They messed up my order and I spent over 2 hours and driving back to store to deal with their mistakes. Terrible experince. Home Depot has reached out and apoligized and made things right. I will be happy to gim them another try.

Waited for “curbside pickup” for over 30 minutes in 30 degree weather.a service that is supposed to be efficient, limit in store foot traffic due to covid and save you time was an epic failure. I had to go into the store and I found the in store pick up counter to be completely dead with three employees standing behind the desk. Three other customers were in the same position as me during the visit as well. They all had to go into the store to pick up their curb side pickup.

We waited for any flooring staff for 30minutes. 2 different employees paged them out 4 times.
May be other departments are better? The flooring staff need to sort out their things.may be post a "closed" sign? Or posted hours? May be other staff around should know the schedule? Blah.

Staff are not interested in your needs, it seems as if you are bothering them by wanting to discuss things. Their phone system is an absolute disaster, on hold for 20+ minutes at 2 different locations, never did talk to anyone WHY HAVE PHONES? WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE, STANDARD ANSWER "ORDER IT ON LINE"

Update: Had a very annoying situation with their home installation services. I paid to have someone install a garage door opener. Went into the store, filled out paper work on May 11th, and the staff member told me someone would call in 24-48 hours. They texted me 12 hours later with a link to pick a time/date online. I did that, chose a 3 hour window (7-10am) today (May 20th). Installer never showed. Tried to call the number, and spent 90 minutes on hold, only for the call to be picked up and then hung up/disconnected. Went to the store at 3: 30pm and explained the situation. Customer service was very helpful and I was refunded, but I took a day off work so I could be home for the install that never happened. Also in this same trip, I grabbed a can of paint and brought it to a cashier. The cashier and I realize that the barcode is ripped and they can't scan it. Cashier looks at me and says "well, you better go grab another one". Thanks. Amazing customer service there.

Original review: Staff is generally helpful, especially with returns, but there have been multiple times I've walked up to employees to ask for help, and I've had to wait 5+ minutes (sometimes I've walked away) for them to finish their chat with a fellow employee. I understand if they're on break, or if they're discussing something important, but there was no "I'll be with you in one moment" type of thing from the employees. Granted, they're usually more helpful than not.

Spent over 20 minutes trying to find what I needed in the electrical section and couldn't find anyone to help. Asked two associates if anyone was working the section and still no one showed up. Not the Home Depot I'm used to for sure.

I came in very confused looking to replace my shower head and bathroom taps and was not overwhelmed with the amount of selection, but what I could purchase that would work with existing piping. John was very patient and went so far as to open the box and show us on the stand what it would look like. This man is patient and very knowledgeable. I appreciate his efforts very much. Not once did he make us feel like we were bothersome or taking up too much time. Thank you. Amazing customer service from him. The cashiers gave me his name so I do hope that he is acknowledged. Thank you
