I had a great experience at The Home Depot in Kamloops. The staff was very helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that I got the product that I was looking for. Thank you!

Busy. Forever waiting for employees to get out of your way. No good incentives for contractors to shop there except for convenience

I love this shopping experience every time. And came out of there with a new battery operated lawn mower, leaf blower and weed whacker.and pressure washer.

The 18v mower is powerful enough to saw through foot-high wet grass like butter! Not even kidding! And that's the tiny one! I know, I know.it's not a huge brand.but for that price I don't even care if it dies. And it exceeded my expectations! Staff totally helped me out and I never wait in line. Home Depot has really upped it's game lately! Thumbs up!

I have my small stand shower floor tile damaged. I didnt want to change it in this moment. So i want to paint department and ask if there is any repair kit or coat. I can use. Or something like deck over paint work? As question mark.
So she seems busy and send deck over is not made for it. So i believe my main question is not about deck over is my solution that is any thing here can work to repair.
So after she answer that deck over is not made for it. She turn her face away. So i have bad face. But i am sure my face is act. What is next and well so is anything or coat can do it?
So seems she is not happy about my face reaction. So i walk away. She start to talk the friends around about i want to use deck over which i dont and saying she can read my face reaction which i am sure she is bad at it.
Only thing i feel not well. That is how to treat the customer and talk lound about it which she didnt answer my question at first. So i went back i dont feel well and i didnt mean that i am going to use deck over. I need to know is any way or coat can fix that issue. You can always Nice to say you dont know or that is nothing here. But you choose to say things more like stupid why i dont listen to you and want to use deck over on tile.
That is really bad i can hear you are talking about me which you totally read me wrong and worst part is think i am not listen and talk to your friend about customer

Great place to shop for either half. With or without young ones. There's pretty much always someone to lend a hand and if they can't, they will surely find you someone that will.

Hyacinth bulbs are in stock, but not in the garden center, have to go back out of the store and then turn right in the entrance foyer

Went in very behind in my schedule and it was quite busy so totally thought id be screwed by my own poor planning but was pleasantly suprised by how aware the staff at the checkout were at utilizing the avalible members to quickly check out everyone.it was maybe a 5 min proccess that from past experiences at other home depot locations would have been atleast 20 minutes.

I went to Home Depot a while back to buy decking vinyl and ended up really happy with it, thanks to a guy named Ron who was really knowledgable and helpful. He worked it out to a T what we would need for a very big project, to the point that at the end of it there were minimal supplies left over. The only downside of the whole experience was that Ron had to wait a very long time to receive assistance from other employees, to help him retrieve all the materials we would need. Despite the fact that it took half the day to get everything together, visiting with Ron made the wait more bearable.

Staff not very knowledgeable for the areas they help out in. Prices are quite high compared to other hardware stores in town

I HATE this place. They used to have the best return policy next to Costco but just recently changed it. Go back to the old policy and stop pinching my pennis. I guess Mr home Depot was hurting through these unprecedented times

Pro desk is knowledgeable and capable of putting together your order before arrival. They will even point on better equipment at a better cost or minus the cost if not in stock. They are reliable and will help you get the best deal they can.

B warey of purchases with warranties as store allows 90 days n ur 3 yr warranty is just to hasstle u to look after plus shipping costs

There was an exorcism in the lumber department. It got the attention of staff though, something that is near impossible at home Depot.

Worst purchase experience of my life. Spent over 2k on appliances, only to have them delivered to the wrong warehouse. They were then sent back and I was told it would take another two months to receive them. As this was unacceptable, I requested a refund. However now my funds are lost in their system somewhere and I'm out the cash and still without a washer and dryer. The best they can do is ask my to wait or email other departments.
This follows a fridge and stove purchase made 6 months prior from Home Depot where those appliances were delayed 3 months with nothing more offered than hollow apologies.
Don't buy appliances from Home Depot unless you can leave the store with them that day.

I buy 95% of my home reno products, appliances and tools here.also some furniture items from online! The staff is always friendly and helpful and the prices are great!

Pretty good selection for a Costco, not a big fan of their garden centre as they do not appear to take care of their trees very well. Every tree we have bought here appears to die within a few months (usually root rot it seems).

Been to this location twice, both times I tried to use the curbside pickup, both times I hit the "I'm here" button in the email, both times I sat there for 20+ minutes until I had to go in and ask. Both times it was "oh I'm sorry, we must have missed it. " Why bother having a curbside pickup option if you're just going to ignore the notifications and make me come in anyways?

We recently had stackable Washer & Dryer to our home from Home Depot.
The delivery company was " The Carr Group". Three guys. Thought that they could put them side by side. We bought stackables for a reason. They didn't even go over the appliances on how they work or nothing. They didn't speak English unless we asked a question. Placed them too close to the door frame where we can not open up the dispenser drawer all the way. Unacceptable. We paid big money for these. And this is not Customer Service. They said they were in a rush to get other delivers done. If you can't do your job.find something else. Brenda

Worst experience in a long time at any store. The staff were rude and deflecting sending me and my elderly Mother on a wild goose chase. Finally a cashier helped. The attitude of the staff. Well, as what happens we took our business elsewhere down the hill to Rona

Great service! But the prices are getting outrageous! Hopefully things will correct themselves, it's no one person's fault I'm assuming but someone's getting rich and it sure the hell isn't me.

For 2 years now we have tried to buy a gazebo. It says to order online because they don't have any in stock. It is only the end of April and we can't get one.

Found what we needed. Two store staff led us to incorrect locations for items we had to find on our own. Went through self checkout.

A huge 5 STAR for employee Aaron in seasonal department. We bought a gazebo and twice we have had issues with missing or defective parts. (Manufacturers fault not Home depot's) He has been fantastic at resolving the problem quickly and with the best customer service we've seen anywhere. Thanks so very much.
