Great variety of resonably priced tools and home hardware. Difficult to get assistance at times, but staff is generally helpful and knowledgeable.

Had something needed returned and cane here and the customer service made it quick and easy

I have been having headaches trying to find the right lighting cover replacement for months on online but couldn’t find any. Home depot had the same light fixture and I addressed the issue to manager Jazz. He was really kind, helpful and I felt that he really cared about the customers. He was able to help me with the issue right away and finally, I am free from the headaches! I can’t thank him more. Thank you so much!

I come here everyday, yet today the lumber department here proved how utterly useless they are! Employee thinking melamine shelving is moulding and refusing to cut it, then Myron coming to tell him he is right not to. Then the manager telling him to cut it because I get there cut all the time! Finally told they will cut it, but they shouldn't! It says right on the sign, "Things we cut: Shelving"! Useless! Wasted an hour here for 4 cuts that didn't happen. Fire the guy in lumber and Start training immediately! I have to go to terminal ave where they actually know how to do their job now. Thanks Richmond Home Depot for wasting my morning!

Worst customer service. How much you can be rude to the customer paying a couple of thousands dollars…. Many staff there but all of them are busy all the time. You ask for assistance and every time they say wait for a minutes then never show up. I have to ask 3-4 different staffs and if you are lucky, you’ll get help after waiting for at least 30 minutes. Usually I never post bad reviews but I’m really upset that staff cut my baseboard wrong size yesterday. This guy (bold head, rude) don’t even listen to you carefully when I was telling him the size of cuts. Now what? I have to go back to customer service and explain what happen for refund and redone another cut? How much I have to waste my time to get my job done with this Home Depot. I spend so much money but this Home Depot screw you up.

Customer service manager Jazz and staff Simran at Store #7043 helped me a lot today. Simran was really patient and kind, She listened me very carefully and provided me solutions to my problem. Her working attitude was serious, and she made me feeling warm and CARED! Jazz is a wonderful customer service manager. He was patient too and reliable! I was a little disappointed with the product i purchased But my experience today made me trust the Home Depot! I will choose the Home Depot again!

I bought a dishwasher from yourselves great service with the delivery. The nightmare started with the installation. First attempt the installer got the area wrong and said it was not his area. Second attempt a so called rushed installation another no show. After an hour on the phone. We learned he had another emergency and he would book sometime next week. Please look at your installers Quick contractor's totally useless. We have decided to cancel and find our own contractor.

Was very disappointed with "customer service" & walking around trying to flag down any employee who was interested/available to help when AMir walked by, was immediately available to help, totally polite & a joy to deal with. Thanks again AMir!

I'm giving it two stars because I reserve my single stars for Canadian Tire. My general experience of Home Depot is that they don't ACTIVELY go out of their way to make their customers unhappy. But am I right? Because here, you have a set of self-serve checkouts to your left and a set to your right and then a big space in between, and there's not a single solitary sign indicating that this is where you check your stuff out, that this is where you're supposed to stand in line, or whether it's one line or two lines. Nada. Not a single piece of communication to guide the 100% of people who actually buy something at this Home Depot. I expressed my confusion out loud and got a bunch of mansplaining from the fellow behind me about how I was in the right place and I just needed to go to the next free spot. Thanks so much, but my point was that they are forcing all of their customers to guess what the hell they're supposed to do to buy the stuff that they want to buy. That seems like an act of deliberate disrespect and contempt for the customer at the level of a Canadian Tire. Home Depot, put up some signs already!

A employee called JAZZ helped me. He was really nice, incredible customer service, instead of dumping us to the side like some other employees, he solves our issue

It's busy, lots of inventory. Some employees are not as friendly or customer oriented as The Staff in Edmonton. Especially the great staff at Home depot Strathcona. Doug at that location us the best!

Not very helpful at customer service, the employee Nash. Was not understanding of my frustration. Returned items, was not allowed to exchange, after 2 people were helped ahead of me in line and a very long wait.

This was the worst customer service ive ever seen. Pay online, got a receipt and they didnt have anything ready for us, asked them to HELP MY ASSOCIATE find the items in the store and they said "we're too understaffed to do that" and then tell me that my payment didnt go through even though i had a receipt and a confirmation email.

second thing, call to ask about doors, they pick up the call the hang up right away.call them multiple times and they say they'll connect me but they just hang up.yall need to get you things together

VINCENT, the expert electrician helped us find the plug outlet that we needed. Even though we had quite a bit of problems to ask, he was very patient and helped us with all issues. Vincent was very professional and polite! Thank you

Rented a sander and my experience was less than expectations.they did not add a required extension cord (different connection), didn't answer the phone, told me to come back to get the extension cord and seemed completely indifferent to my plight. I talked to the store manager who also seemed indifferent and was offered $30 off for my time. I lost half a day running around so the offer was basically not to charge me for the time they wasted on me. Might be an anomaly, make sure you have been given all parts before leaving store.

Edit/update. Hey HD. Your training program is awful. 4 people trying to help me buy a hot water tank and get install. 30 minutes later, I ask about my pro points and they say they don’t know. I will check with some other places since I left without being asked to pay for anything.

My father has been so stressed trying to find the right window locking handle; driving back and forth from Vancouver to Richmond Home Depot. Thank you so much to Glenn from the bottom of our heart; Glenn was kind, patient, and helpful everytime my father came into the store to ask questions. It was challenging for my father to converse and speak proper English as English isn't his first language. Glenn didn't just give simple replies; he listened patiently, researched several times and wasn't willing to give up. Finally, he was able to find the exact one for us and gave my father all the information he needed. Thank you for your outstanding customer service Glenn, my father has never met someone as dedicated to customers as you are. You really made his day! I hope your hard work doesn't go unnoticed by the management and the company. Home Depot is lucky to have an employee like you. Thank you thank you thank you we really appreciate you.

I regularly used this Home Depot doing a home improvement project and Matthew from the paint section went above and beyond in helping me understand my needs and the correct paint and quantity my project required

This shop is very big and the staffs (especially the cantonese speaking staffs) are very responsive and proactively offer help to customers.
I went there in July to buy some deck tiles but i didn't know the exact location of the product and i seek for help from a staff named Priscilla and she was very helpful and immediately escorted me to the exact location to buy it, also she helped to calculate the total usage of the tiles, although later she was corrected by another staff named susanna chong for wrongly calculated the quantities, she is very humble to say sorry to me and patiently learn from susanna how to calculate the correct nbr of tiles which i need to buy.susanna was a fluent cantonese speaking staff and she was very experience and know everything, she was patient and helpful to suggest me to apply a home depot card in order to earn 100. - gift coupon, she was very friendly.since then, whenever i want anything or in case of
any problem for the product, i always seek for help from
her.susanna, thank you for your help and you are super!
