I called them to squire about product then someone answer & hanged up on me called again & surly no one answer after a long ringing

There is an angel working at the paint section in this location. As I remember her name is "Diana". She is very knowledgeable and the one of the best customer service ever got in my life. Once that Indian guy was not interested in to help me with finding the paint that I was looking for, luckily I talked to her before I leave and she helped with the best ability. FYI @higher management - Diana should be noted for her genuine and outstanding customer service. This 5 star is only for her. Thanks Diana.

Online delivery highly disorganized. They tell you to wait up until 11pm! And still no delivery 3 days after scheduled. Customer service is always "an unusually high call volume" or a low-end, time-wasting chatbot.

DO NOT buy washer and dryer there. They need someone to go and disconnect your old one first, on a separated appointment, on a different date. Other place may have the same price but they only need one set of people that can do everything at once. Additional half day leave is very expansive.

Wanted to get colors for our first wooden paint project, the person was really helpful and gave so much detailed knowledge about different types of colors and what and when to use. Wish could remember his name. But he was at the colour section and made everything so easy. Thanks to him this project is coming out really good
We forgot one of the paint bottle at the payment counter but the lady Name Dolly came all the way to parking lot to give the forgotten color. That kind is service is really rear this days. Thanks again The Home Depot Cambie. For such a great experience.

Had an amazing experience at this store on 7/11/23. I went in to buy a portable bbq but it was out of stock and only the expensive one was available. 3 different associates, including the supervisor, came to help me figure out the right bbq to buy within my price range and looked for deals in their system. They even stuck around to help me choose some accessories as well. It felt like a family environment and I was well taken care of. I wish I got their names!

I had the opportunity to deal with a fantastic employee at this location, her name is Ana B.and she is in appliances, I needed a new washing machine but had to tackle a small adjustment at my apartment to accommodate this new washer. She connected me with a tradesman and got me signed up for a HD credit card which provided incentives for using it, she literally handled everything. I’d love to find out how I can let her employer know how great and informed she was but this seems to be the only platform …

The super huge Home Depot has all the department stores you want at home, and super friendly staff.

Not alot here but if downtown here you go. Bad for traffic coming there but isn't everything down there

To the sweet older gentleman who sold me my air conditioner 10+ years ago, I have never forgotten you! It is because of you I survive every summer. I was in a greenhouse worthy sweltering apartment at the time and this man was amazing. Along with his professionalism, he went full Dad mode, full of care and empathy, and treated me like family and pointed me in the right direction, and gave me hot tips how to get the most out of my A/C. Sadly I have totally forgotten his name, but its never too late for a good review. So wherever you are, thank you!:)

Friendly staff and generally good selection of items. It’s a small store of they may not everything you need in stock, so check online first.

Usually Home Depot locations have awesome friendly service, but here nobody wants to help, it's pretty tricky to get answers on where to find stuff. We came in to buy some lumber to fix furniture - the advertised lumber that shows available online at this location was of a wrong size, and they told us they stopped making lumber adjustments at this location, but offered we go to north Vancouver location, wow. They also didn't have any parts we needed, so all in all we found nothing in this store to help fix furniture, just spent money on underground parking ($4 for the first hour; it's only validated if you're purchasing something, but you can get it validated at a grocery store downstairs as well).

Great location for this store. Very convenient. They don't have lumber, but the store on Terminal Avenue is not far. Most staff is amazing, helpful and knowledgeable, but there's also some who are totally lost. Not many, but once you deal a few times with them, you know to avoid.:) parking is underground shared with Save On and they reimburse for parking, at least for now. Overall great.

Have acceptable deals in certain branch of construction tools equipment with names like dewalt ects. But in retrospect some of these items do not beat the prices of the Doloramas tools area. It is better in my opinion to pay for something very cheap even if the quality aspect seeing it it is less fustrating to disposed a broken tool or items 1.25$ to 4$ than 20$ and up for a supposed quality items. Specialy if you are a contractor or business owner with careless employees.

I appreciate the number of employees who can assist me when I’m shopping. Whether they need to decipher my request, look up information on the website, or find another employee who has the answers, nothing is too much trouble, and they are almost all courteous in approach.

Just one employee was condescending towards me, as an old person. She works in kitchen appliances and she seemed surprised that I knew exactly which new stove I needed and that I had all the details on my phone. Even then, when she told me what day it would be delivered, and I nodded, she asked: “Don’t you need to write it down? ” I replied: “No, my memory has actually improved with age”.

Knowledge staff, tools rental have pretty much everything for construction, all brands most known

Quite great experience at Home Depot the 1st time ever in Vancouver! Girma (hope I spelled the name correctly) helped me find some screws, a ladder and other essentials for my new apartment furnishing, and also helped me get a nice discount for an opened dewalt drill. All in all quite nice shopping experience and thank you Girma!

Been shopping at Home Depot for a decade. First time at this store, fairly large purchase. Cs rep Kaylen was the first associate ever to ask me if I’m a pro member and that it’s a point system I can sign up for. Thank you!

Small and bit chaotic in placement of merchandise but at least stock the most needed items which you can't say about many HD's

This store makes it impossible to social distance when leaving. There is one one way to get the the garage (no stairs) and only one elevator, long crowded lines and congested area in front of elevator and no one enforcing limit of people getting on.
I wont come to this store again.

Do not use Home Depot plumbing installation services. I called in to get a toilet installed. You only get time options an hour after paying the installation fee. Once I got the options, I called back to schedule it earlier. I paid a $75 emergency fee for an earlier date. This was on a Thursday and I had a flight on Sunday. When I got the time options an hour later, Sunday was the earliest option even with the "emergency fee". 3 phone calls later, they scheduled something for Saturday. The plumber showed up 45 minutes after the window Home Depot provided us. They spent 2 minutes in the bathroom before deciding the toilet wouldn't fit. I had already discussed the measurements in depth on the phone. The plumbers then left the new toilet in the box with us and refused to return it. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

Excellent location in bustling Cambie and Broadway-ish area. While commercial contractors will go to the Terminal Ave location, the Cambie store is more than adequately assorted for most DIYers. During COVID times, it'll probably pay to arrive early on the weekends as the lineup to get in builds fast.

Great service by Amireza and Dolly at the customer service desk, I came in regarding a refund and they dealt with it immediately and had me in and out in under ten minutes and were very polite and patient. Thanks Amireza, thanks Dolly! <3

Terrible location, Ive been trying to call them for 1 hour now and no one picks up. Whats the point of even having a phone?

Their employees are knowledgeable and willing to help/ give you advice. I wouldn't say it's "service with a smile, " but their advice is helpful and that matters more to me. Selection of products is fine.

Managed to make a stop and found very kind staff who help get one last thing I needed. Thank you everyone for being so attentive. The cashier also helped me fill out the survey so I wouldn't miss on the opportunity to get spending cash at Home Depot. I could use that

Busy place only wY to exit with merch is elevator and always big line just to leave store I would move on to another depo

Great experience. Went in to get a couple of keys cut and had to ask an associate where to go. When i got to the department Inquired at the service desk and an associate walked me over to the key cutting machine which was a self serve machine. Never had encountered one of these before so the guy was going to show me how to use it but ended up cutting my two keys himself and was a super friendly guy. As it turned out, the self service machine didn't have the blank key I needed so the associate had use the manual machine. His customer service was great. Prices of comparable merchandise at Canadian Tire is probably priced a little better.footnote: The key that the automatic machine cut is really poor- barely works. The one the guy did manually, perfect. Sometimes automation isn't all that.

Nice place. Has all the essential needs you would need for the area. I didn't check the lumber section out so unable to comment on that. Everything was laid out ok. Parking is nice they also reimburse for that.

We bought a Weber BBQ from this location and could not have been better looked after, Reza and Randall were amazing, we had an issue on delivery but it was swiftly sorted out, very well run store with happy and friendly staff, you can see they are a great team. Thx guys!

The convenience is about the only thing going for the business if you are a tradesman. Occasionally find a deal for an item. Associates are nice people who know very little about the work and are reminded that they are to help you leave with products. Doing their job. Cheers to them.

I their golden years, about 7 or 8 years ago, and before, it was THE place in Vancouver to go for your household needs plus stellar service, when staff actually knew about their departments, when there were enough staff, and where you could always find what it was you wanted. Those days are long gone. I only go there when there is nowhere else in this city that has what I need, it's a last resort and it is rarely a pleasant exprience.

Asked where a specific tape i needed was and the first person wasn't sure and by the end I got what I needed by all that helped.

It was fairly busy on the first Saturday in January, but the staff were so helpful and in good spirits. A gentleman helped us by searching the inventory for about 5 different drills (as most were sold out due to a previous sale). He really spend time and effort making sure we left with a drill we were happy with!

Great experience with Home Depot at the Cambie store, and I would always go back to Home Depot, and they are fair with great pricing. I praise their customer service, and customer service is going down everywhere else, but not at Home Depot. Thank you Sorous you were very friendly, helpful, honest, understanding and knowledgeable.

Was customer serviced within the first 5 minutes of being there. Was in and out of checkouts within 5 minutes as well. Would give them 5 out of 5 but I dont know their return etiquette yet:)

Friendly staff, but they didn’t know what they were talking about. It took us 3 trips to solve a simple problem. Home Depot staff used to be better

Make no mistake, this is a small Home Depot. If you were looking for a wider range of construction stuff you need to head to the one on Terminal. However this one has a fantastic location and the staff ratio is a bit better than other places meaning you can usually get more help if you need it. However some of the more detailed departments like electrical and plumbing don't have quite the level of experience as other Home Depots do. But of course that depends on the time and day that you were going. I shop here at least twice a week and in general it's well-stocked in all departments unless you need lumber or bigger outdoor stuff. The tool and paint department are especially amazing and have high-quality staff. Not to say that other departments don't. But they've been exceptional in my ongoing home rental. Parking below is $3 but they comp you $3 off your bill when you check out if you ask. If you need to pick up bits and pieces of things and aren't driving, it's only one block from the SkyTrain line which makes it exceptional for a lot of people in their daily commute. Hats off to this location!

It's great that everyone working there offers help but when you need help they dont have the answers or pass you off to another staff.

I find the one in cambie to be much better than on terminal. The staff are friendly and helpful. I started buying my paint here as home hardware in downtown is useless. The staff here are knowledgeable, fast and that is worth the Canada line or walk to get there

Nice store, but parking space is at a premium and makes going to the store not a relaxing experience.

Placed a pick-up order online. Many of the items were not prepared, and they didn't know. They were mildly friendly about it. Waited 15 mins for the items to be retrieved. Recently called to inquire about a plumbing item. Was re-directed to plumbing to only have the call answered and dropped. In an era when Amazon is growing, it's prudent for companies like HD to up their game. I'm happy to support local if the quality of service is reasonable.

A cental building supply store with most of the basics for gardening, home renos and the odd fix-it job at home. Lots of tools and they carry appliances, decore and stuffs.

Great customer service this morning. Could not find the right item in stock, they gave an upgraded item for the same vaule.

This location is smaller then most however they have a great selection. They staff is helpful and friendly.

Customer service at the location is pleasent enought. This review is a complain about thier parking lot. I was here for some gardening supplies on Saturday and today (Monday), and I noticed that they have not fixed their burst sewage pipe. It's unsanitary to have the brown water slewing out of the ceiling. I am amazed by their lack of concern for sanitation and health for their customers and workers. Who's in charge of this stinking building? It's turning into a septic tank!

The Customer Service is AMAZING. This is by FAR the best home depot customer service i have experienced. Be patient with the staff when you need help since it can get busy easily but their staff are more than willing to help. Highly recommend

Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get thru on the phone. Usual wait is between 20 and 45 minutes. Is this green - nope. It forces you to drive to the store to see if they have what you want. I don't fault the employees, but rather the management team for not staffing to a level to allow interactions between the staff and (gasp) the potential customer!

Went to get a key cut and they were out, big waste of time and gas
Then had to drive to
W.broadway and the price went to 5.13 rip off

They don't have building materials here. Hopefully this information saves someone the time of coming to the store and not finding what they need!

Dave in the hardware department is very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me advice on my tool choices, not always directing me to the most expensive but the ones that would serve me best.

Great deal on outdoor furniture set. Only $398, half what we expected to pay. Gardening time, loads of supplies and great selection on plants. We were able to get all our palm trees delivered for only $70 in the Vancouver area.
