This was my first experience with prescription glasses and I am so happy I picked this great place. Jacob, (I believe the owner), made the whole process very simple. He helped me pick the frame that suits me well, I am feeling confident that I made the right choise with his expert advice. Highly recommended! The service was excellent. A consultant (probably the owner) showed how glasses should fit and explained the difference between different brands of lenses. At OTHER shops, I felt like consultants wanted to sell me the most expensive lenses and didn't want to explain anything or even give the name of the lenses. HERE everything is transparent, and they care about helping a client, not just making profits.

The prices for lenses are fair. I compared specific Nikon lens prices in several shops. They were 30-50% cheaper here than at any other shop I visited, including several on Robson St.

I loved that the consultant explained the difference between Nikon and another cheaper Japanese brand and recommended buying the more affordable option, saying I would not see the difference. And he was right! My new Japanese lenses are great, and I saved 100 CAD.

I ordered new lenses for my frame here and got a new prescription ready in 3 business days. It feels perfect, and I love my new clear vision.

Here you can also find gorgeous frames. It looks like the owner hand-picked the nicest ones.

Incredible service. There was a technical problem with the frames I brought in for lens replacement and the owner insisted that I pick a pair of replacement frames as he wanted to make sure "I was taken care of". I would recommend this optician to anyone as the service went above and beyond. You will also be supporting small business and his selection of frames is good and services are affordable. You can bring in your own frames for lens replacement too.

Ordered several pairs of glasses & sunglasses here, and always had a good experience. Prices have always been reasonable and service is excellent!

Jake also offers lens cutting as well, which I haven’t tried yet.

A car door crunched my glasses. The lenses were fine, but the frame was badly twisted in several places. I honestly didn't think I would ever were them again. But Jake carefully unbent each small area, tested whether the lens fit and then adjusted the frame again (and again and again) until both lenses were secure within the frame. Very helpful and courteous!

Excellent service and design selection of frames for a niche, boutique shop. Owner has good taste and brings in a range of quality shades and glasses. I got RayBans there I haven't seen elsewhere in the city. Definitely worth the visit for anyone needing intimate attention to detail and one on one service.

I always find something fun and different at this shop. Alex carries the latest in eye wear. The shop is small but the variety is good. A lot of natural sun light in the shop to see how the frames look. I love my latest purchase and get loads of compliments.
