The Joint Pizzeria

Walked into The Joint Pizzeria today and asked for pepperoni pizza which they didn’t have ready. They offered to make a 10 inch one in 7 minutes. Wasn’t a mistake waiting! Crust was perfect and pizza was baked to perfection. Will be my pizzeria of choice next time I’m in Victoria!

The food was "good" and the toppings seemed fresh but the flavours seemed pretty average.

Pizza/toppings was average but slightly above average price. Probably best during peak times when food is moving fast but the slices I had at kid afternoon didn't seem very fresh.

Love that they are open very late. In addition, they have halal options (chicken), which was a surprise as not many pizza companies do.

Absolutely love the vegan, gluten free options. Really wish they had their own delivery service vs skip. Totally dislike skip.

The Joint makes an excellent gluten free thin crust vegetarian pizza and it comes in two sizes which is unusual for gluten free. Love the tomatoes and feta cheese. Just the right amount of saltiness from the feta. Have had this pizza three times in the past month! The business has been taken over by new owners who are very friendly. The restaurant is in an old part of town. Was very clean however the washroom needs a bit of help!

The pizza and bread here is amazing. Recommended a few of my friends as well. Amazing ambience and service. Definitely coming back here.

Great Pizza place under the new management. Seems like they have got the place renovated recently.

We went here based on reviews, but after looking around and checking with a few patrons, we decided to leave. First, it appears quite dingy and dirty. Second, there are only a few booths and tables and they were grimy. This place seems to be oriented to takeout. Third, when I asked a few patrons what they thought, the answers were along the lines of “It’s okay” rather than any raves. Finally, they only serve thin crust.

The peach and peanut pizza BLOWS my mind. The crust of this Pizza is just. Like no other crust, so good! Not a chain, and you can taste the quality from house made tomato sauce to the pesto from scratch! A must try!

They don't answer their phones or check their VM. Horrible experience ordering online, platform not built for online orders, multiple errors and can't submit substitutions. No order pick up time provided. Very cool. Very disrespectful to your customers.

I've been eating slices from this place for 23 years. I've eaten pizza all over the world (including NYC and Rome) and they have the best crust I have ever come across. They have some combos we all know and some far more creative ones, too. Do yourself a favour, and hit this joint.

I ordered online with intentions of having a pizza party for a co workers last day. I recieved an order confirmation and $150.00 was charged to my credit card. Well after over an hour, nothing has arrived so I checked my confirmation and it changed from " confirmed" to " order did not go through.
To make matters worse, I tried calling The Joint MANY MANY times and no one answers the phone.
Absolutly rediculous. I'll be sure to spread the word to Never order from this place.

Pre ordered pizza through Skip for the office, restaurant didn’t open at 12 as listed. Skip called and so did I, no answer. Order cancelled and had to scramble to place an order somewhere else last minute.

It's not fancy but very delicious where you will be treated nicely and you feel like you're eating at home.

Nastiest pizza I ever had. Paid $20 for 4 slices of pizza. Tasted old and stale, we found hair in one of the slices.

I worked one shift as a Delivery Driver here, and they took 2 months to pay me for it! A very odd situation where Jeff kept making weird excuses like "my chequebook isn't here" or "I'm sick and can't think. " I warned them that what they were doing was illegal, and finally after writing me a POST-DATED CHEQUE (for December 1st) they finally gave me the $120 they owed me.man, it was more work just to get the money than to actually work the shift! XD I'm never ordering from or trusting this place again.y'all can do what you want, but I feel obligated to share this.there are waaaay better pizza places in Vic e.g. Famoso, Standard Pizza, Fiamo's, etc. <3

This place has AMAZING pizza!
Good place to stop if you need a quick bite to eat or getting some take out.
The staff are really kind & outgoing, and that's what makes a place welcoming!

Plenty of parking out front, easy peasy to stop and grab a slice unless you're like Ken Murray and find driving a real challenge. Fortunately they always have slices available so I didn't have to be subjected to a whiny missive from Ken about how slow the service was or how much of his precious time was wasted because his pickup order wasn't ready when he stopped in to grab it. If Ken actually lived in Victoria and not Langford, he might be less irritable and might leave some Kinder reviews for struggling small business in Vancouver who are forced to endure his poor reviews and arrogant entitlement as they try their best to remain in business during a global pandemic that has resulted in countless businesses closing.

Their pizza is great, in fact, the joint pizzeria is better than I expected. I ordered the 14" custom pizza with the pineapple and chicken for about $26; A bit pricy, but worth every dollar.

Great calzones! I picked a strange assortment with pear, pulled pork and chicken and it tasted fantastic! Definitely will be ordering from here again!

Shawn deserves a raise. He is always attentive and serves the best pizza. He deserves six figures

Quite possibly the very best pizza in all of Victoria, in my opinion. Everytime I've been here the staff are friendly and serve with an enthusiasm that is hard to beat anywhere else. Very highly recommended for the quality of product and service.

Open late. Fresh pizza is good. But the ones that's been our for a bit tend to get dry but still good late night

Love the pizza there, tasted it about a year ago and been a loyal fan since then. Great options for vegetarian food.

We used to enjoy ordering nachos and a calzone for dinner every so often. Last time we did there was such poor customer service and we had the following issues:
1. Calzone was so undercooked and doughy
2. Nacho toppings were not as advertised. Beef and tomato only, nothing else.

I called about these issues and was met with lackluster customer service. Was told they have always made nachos with beef and tomato rounds as toppings. This is clearly untrue as their menu states otherwise and this was a typical order for us once or twice a month.

I love The Joint. They cater to more dietary/lifestyle needs than I've seen elsewhere and the quality is always top-notch.

Got Uber Eats to deliver, was fast delivery but all three pizzas were burnt. Was looking forward to trying an independent Victoria pizza place but it was too burnt to enjoy. I'm sure it's good if not left in the oven past the proper bake time. For the quality and price, I wouldn't get it again.

Advertises vegan options. Ordered a pizza through the skipthedishes clearly specified vegan with no cheese through all toppings and notes. Received a pizza that clearly had cheese on it. Upon calling the Joint the staff member insisted it was Daiya and admitted he put it on by mistake and tried to pick it off. The pizza also had tomatoes which I did not order. It seems the staff didn't look at the toppings requested and couldn't be bothered to make a new one. There was also non-vegan dipping sauce added and a messy note note written in the pizza box 'dipping sauce is not vegan sorry! ' So unprofessional. Never ordering from here again.

Awesome food, friendly staff, and fair prices. Their gluten-free crust was great as well. Definitely recommend!

(The ‘El Diablo’ and ‘Thai Peanut’ pizzas were fantastic!)

Terrible experience. Period. Came in around 7 PM Wednesday January 22 to pick up my orders I made online from here, the manager was apologetic and sincere for my orders going unnoticed. However, it went downhill when I returned for my order which had been about 40 minutes later, I witnessed a now different employee (he stated erin/eric?) eating pizza ingredients straight out of the food buckets with his bare hands and no hair net (not very sanitary?). He was alone. He told me I'd have to wait another half an hour if I wanted some form of compensation for our late unnoticed orders, and blatantly refused to contact his manager. His tone towards me was aggressive and completely rude. He brought my food out, when it was sitting on the counter, I again asked for a solution for this poor service and waste of time. He eventually called his manager and told him "a customer wants a refund" (I asked politely for some compensation along with my food not a refund). He then grabbed cash from the register, and threw it on the counter at me, saying nothing, and left to the back of the kitchen with our dinner in hand. What a waste of time. I called back in the half an hour this employee said his manager would return and lied that he wouldn't be back for the rest of the night.

Order a few pies, 7pm-ish on a Friday. Called it in, no answer. No problem. Busy. I get it.

Put an order in on their website. System was a bit vague as to times but not problem, not In a rush.

Stop by around 730-ish. Closed. Would have been good to know they were closed during peak pizza time?

Oh, their system still charged my card. I’ll revise this review accordingly that gets properly refunded in a timely fashion otherwise I guess it’s charge back time.

Dropped by here a few years ago for their gluten free pizza and remember it was excellent. We were in Victoria again this weekend and thought we'd give it another try. I was not disappointed.

This place serves some of the best gluten free pizza anywhere. The crust is fantastic. They have tasty and unique toppings options. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Victoria.

We ordered the 14" Cortessa Pizza via Uber Eats. Quick prep and delivery But it was waaaay too greasy The crust was soaked in oil. My partner and I felt ill after a single slice each.

Overpriced pizza that will still take your money for online orders even when they are closed and their hours say they are open. Thats just bad business

I ordered the perogi pizza. So good! The roast potatoes in it were delightfully crunchy. Would recommend.

Yum! Great place for a slice of pizza, they usually have to best options for veg and vegan slices.

I have eating here and loved their tuner free pizza, but today not so great. The pizza was overcooked and hard. The toppings were sparse. The first pizza they delivered was the wrong Pizza. After they remade the pizza, the quality was not good.

I got a very thin average slice of veggie pizza, was stone cold, literally. I was in hurry and left, wasted 3 bucks. The crust was literally frozen. Huh!
