The location and setting is super bizarro and I'd recommend take-out.
But the food is absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, healthy portion for what I ordered (chicken platter), with grilled eggplant, potatoes, rice with chickpeas and a salad.
It isn't discount prices, but you get what you pay for; this is not your greasy, nutrient-deficient shawarma joint.
The char on my chicken was maybe a little extra charred, but that's a quibble and a preference.

Great take away. Needed to feed the crew after a long day of travel. This hit the spot. We got the got a selection of wraps and the lamb beef ottoman. Fresh, tasty and leftovers for later.

Amazing sandwich, the bread reminded me of kebab shops in Turkey and Germany. Hard to find around here, I'd guess it's made in house? Everything seems very high quality and made right there. The owner is very friendly and smooth. Will be back whenever in town.

Rivals the best Turkish platters I’ve had in Berlin and London, the beef was one of the best I’ve ever had.

I haven’t been there since they moved downtown, but this place is the freshest and delicious sandwiches and platters. If this place was in downtown Vancouver, there’d be a lineup down the block!

Nanaimo needed this place so bad. Delicious wraps and a great man making them. Will be back for seconds!

Wow this is the place to eat. 5 out of 5 stars you won’t be left hungry and the quality of food / care really shows. Highly recommend! Thank you Kebap.

Food was delicious! Owner was very kind and helpful. I feel like not having a rice side or fries is a missed opportunity chicken shawarma fries are amazing and his meat would be amazing on it
