Excellent restaurant. Our server Pascale was fantastic, attentive but not intrusive, very knowledgeable about the wine and food and to top it off personable and funny. We had an enjoyable evening with great Tapas and dessert that we all shared. We liked everything especially the duck confit, the pork shoulder, tuna and for dessert the fresh peach cheesecake special. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Overrated and over-priced - tapas are very good and it is a beautiful location, but the service is mediocre and the paella was served lukewarm (not in the pot it was cooked in, as is normal for paella) and under-sized. Lots of better places to go in the area.

Make a reservation! Hands down favorites: ricotta cheese with candied jalapeño, side of bread, duck, prawns with piri-piri. You literally can't go wrong with anything on his menu. Remember Chef makes everything to order so sit back, relax, share a bottle of our favorite Pino Noir or Chablis from their list while he prepares your delicious food.

Best place for tapas in the area. Great seating with spectacular view. Had the duck confit, broccoli, beets and mackerel. Food is exceptional. Duck was tender moist and flavourful. I highly recommend dining here.

My husband and I come here once every year when we visit Naramata. I wish it were more often, it is our absolute favourite restaurant! We get chef’s choice and the unknown makes it a really fun experience! We have never had a disappointing dish, EVER!

Went for late lunch during last week before season ends.only has chef choice creation so have to eat what the chef makes for you. Had 5 dishes.not blown away by the flavours but was good. Was given the sausage, which was a bit on the drier side though. Also got the grilled calamari that was fresh and tasty. Got mussels and clams in light tomato broth. Portions tend to be on the smaller side but kind of expected that for tapas.as long as price isn't that of a regular entree. However, the clams and mussels was $29 for less than a lb and was no where near the menu prices, which was shown to be $7-$20 per tapa. When told this week would be chef's choice and shown the tapas available in the menu, I thought they would be serving us random tapas in the menu, which we would have been fine with. Didn't expect them to slightly tweak the tapa dishes and then charge $5-$10 more per tapa just because it's chef's choice creation. Also was given the sardine ($7 a piece) and mackerel ($12 a piece). They were very small and both were about 5 inches at most. I thought this was too expensive for two small fish (for chef's choice creation). We would have been much more satisfied with ordering what we wanted from the menu, knowing the exact prices and what we were getting. Like I said, the food was good but can get very expensive if you allow the chef to make what he/she chooses and not knowing what that tapa dish would be until the end. It's not about how much your budget is but rather is it what we expected for the prices and the food that came out. We spent more for lunch at other wineries and felt fully satisfied. We were somewhat misled by the menu and thought those would be the prices but get random tapas. Food was good but just not for those prices for a few of those tapas. Service was good and friendly. A bit on the warm side, even in the October sun as it was mainly patio seating. Will definitely not go back for chef's choice creation.as for regular menu, may consider but perhaps after trying out all the other winery restaurants.

Food was excellent, wine was fabulous but the service was poor. Forgotten dishes, and a long wait at the end to pay the bill. Seems the staff were more interested in chatting.

The food at The Kitchen is always delicious. I recommend their food highly and you absolutely have to have the broccoli, its my favourite dish.

Just got back from a lovely evening here. Myself, 2 of my sons and a daughter-in-law commemorated what should have been my 42nd wedding anniversary if I hadn't lost my husband this spring. We laughed shared memories, good food and wine together in the relaxed atmosphere and attentive service that made for one excellent evening. Pascale, our server was great and the chef came out to meet us at the end of the evening.
We did the chefs choice evening and had a wide variety of lovely dishes. Would 100% suggest this experience to others
It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny.

Took our reservation. Drove 45 min with two young kids and a baby and my wife.

Turned us back. They clearly didn’t want us there. Claimed they’re a winery and they can’t have kids…. Was just at Quails Gate and had wine tasting and lunch.

Chef Abul has an amazing ability and creativity that you won’t find in a lot of places. We did the Chef’s choice and he surprised us with an incredible blend of unique ingredients. His choice of wine pairing went exceptionally well with our unpredictable meal and was very well received and appreciated. Well done.

FINALLY! Blown away! The food is owner prepared and he is an absolute genius! By far the best food experience I have had in my 27 years in BC! Abul had put BC back on the map for an amazing experience that will have you coming back for more! Bravo!

My friends and I have been coming to this place for years, and every time it is an enjoyable experience. The food is absolutely delicious! The chef is one of a kind. He makes everything himself, and is a true talent. Tapa style best for sharing many dishes so you can experience all the flavours. This place has a lovely view and is meant for an authentic sit down meal where you take your time enjoying drinks food and your company. We always feel at home coming to this restaurant and the chef and staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend for lunch after a wine tour, or dinner with a group of close friends or family. You won’t find another Gem like this anywhere near by.

Made reservations for my wife's birthday mid-September. Abul, the chef, delivered a delicious lineup of Portuguese style tapas. This was our ninth or tenth meal here over as many years and the food has always been excellent. The staff are engaging and friendly, making for a great dining experience.

What made it extra special was that the chef and staff all came out to wish my wife happy birthday and made us a special dessert.

I visited the Patio restaurant for the 1st time with my daughter and her partner. The view is spectacular. I had the sauteed calamari and meatball appetizers extremely delicious. Colour, height and eye appeal. No flavours overpowered another. I fell in love with the Malbec. So smooth and silky. I will return and highly recommended this place. We had friendly and efficient service during this pandemic and they adhere to good safe dine in protocols. Well done Bravo!

Amazing experience here yesterday. The food was fantastic and the wine excellent (get the fume blanc!) Sitting on the deck enjoying tapas and the view. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon.

Every dish was a high light but shout out to the seared albacore tuna with guacamole, the grilled Anaheim peppers and the grilled sardines.

The service was great. We were very well taken care of. I couldn’t recommend this spot enough and we’re already looking forward to next summers lunch when we return.
