This place was fantastic! We popped in for dinner the other day while staying in town overnight and I was floored by how good the food was. I ordered the steak sandwich and I cannot stop raving about it. The steak was a perfect medium and just melted in my mouth. It was well seasoned and super fresh. I've visited a LOT of steakhouses in my time and none of them hold a candle to the steak I had here. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area! The only drawback was that we came in quite late in the evening and there was a big party making a LOT of noise and bringing the atmosphere down a little, but the food was so good I didn't even mind overmuch.

Great pub food. Usually short staffed the ladies serving you try very hard and help each other out in getting everyone taken care of. Honestly best variety of food in town. Give them a chance and you will leave happy.

I am certain that the food was not clean.

We, a group of 6 travelers, booked 3 rooms across the street. After eating at this bar, 4 of us experienced diarrhea immediately upon returning to our rooms. 2 of us had to use the toilet for a second time within an hour.

We are all healthy individuals in our 20s. None of us had any gastrointestinal disorders prior to this incident.

I know, I know! A lot of people have different tastes. I do prefer to season my frys. I was informed they were preseasoned. Not a fan of too much pepper. Frozen veggies. SUCK! All soggy. The protein however was cooked nicely. I wish restaurants would take an extra step.ask people why they left all of their veggies on their plate, along with 3/4's of their frys. Cost $$$$$ thumbs down! Less food, charge less. Simple. Use fresh, not frozen, especially veggies.

This was a sad evening.
Brought my friends to Valemont, one of my favorite mountain towns. Went for dinner here, which was the only restaurant open that evening. We're left at the door for 20 minutes at least while the servers completely ignored us. It was a busy evening but they could have at least seated us as there were plenty of open tables. Server then forgot to bring us water which we requested. The rest of the service was ACCEPTABLE but the food wasn't amazing and we ended our evening there somewhat displeased. Expensive too

Great place. Went there with 16 ladies and we had a very good evening. Communication was good for reservation, food was awesome, plenty and reasonably priced. Our waitress was helpful and kind.

I'm sure the food is great, but we didn't even get a chance to order, as you decided to ID me after you sat us down at a table. We were waiting at the doors to be seated for 10 minutes, and you didn't think to ID us then? I felt incredibly embarrassed and humiliated as everyone watched us leave. I don't think I'll be going back.

Dirty glasses, steak over cooked, hair in the food, and Clamato juice tasted off, overcooked fish and chips. When mentioned about the steak waitress said the cooks are busy and offered to discount our bill. They discounted the meal with the over cooked steak and hair in the food 50 percent. Would not recommend.

Had the steak and shrimp special tonight. Was amazing. Steak was cooked perfect, the fries were crispy and delicious. Shrimp was top notch. Couldnt finish my plate.

Went for supper tonight. Our tab was over 200 dollars and as I was leaving out the door the waitress stopped me and asked if everything was ok? I was very taken back and said yes I’m fine. She continued to say oh ok was just wanting to make sure everything was ok because you tipped so low. I was absolutely mind blown by her comment. Not only did we just spend 200 dollars but we had to wait more than 10 minutes for just a glass of water. Our apps took forever to get and when our main course did come the waitress dropped some of our food almost on the floor. Our friend caught it in his hand. Very very disappointed.

We came in for supper last Saturday. We visit at least once every time we are here for vacation. The food is consistently tasty, the service attentive and friendly even when busy. Prices are reasonable.

Menu is vast and split the cod bites with my hubby. It was really delicious and ample serving for two. The fries were awesome.

White wine was nothing special but did what it needed too. Hubby had rum and Coke with no complaints.

Decor is really tired, but clean enough. The sign (with movable letters) out front advertising the hours is good for a laugh because the letters are so messed up it’s hard to read what it says. It’s been like this for the past year or more.

Planter out front is full of cigarette butts and greets all visitors. Can be intimidating to some to walk up with a bunch of tough looking guys and gals hanging around smoking at the door. Be brave, smile, don’t inhale if you are a non smoker and you’ll be okay. They may even hold the door open for you.

This place attracts the pipeline workers, so clientele a little rough around the edges but suits the place. We still felt comfortable and welcome.

If you are a person of COLOR, stay away. They will treat you poorly, we waited five minutes to be told to seat ourselves, while they had a sign that says “please wait to be seated”. I would have been okay if someone at least acknowledged us and told us “we’ll be with you in a second, ” but they literally just looked at us, and continued on.there was three of us, and they only gave us one menu, while a white couple came and they were given two menus and their orders and drinks were taken right away while we waited about 15 minutes to even get our order taken.

They Never came back and checked how our food was or if we needed anything, never refilled our water. We were the last one there while we sat for 20 minutes already done with our food, waiting for them.the ‘pub’ had already cleared out. We felt really discriminated because we weren’t white. Food was okay, but would have rather ate somewhere else than be treated unwelcomed.

Please provide your waitresses with some customer service training and to treat everyone fairly. Thank you.

I was looking forward to this place because it was my first time here, and the menu looked awesome. Unfortunately, the service was not the best and was rude. Two servers out of the 3 were nice and one told me at the door to sit wherever I want. Couple minutes later, the other server came, snapped and told me next time you need to wait to be seated. Obviously I wouldn't go ahead and seat myself it says right there lol I waited and was told. I thought I beat the rush but the wait was still 40 minutes. I asked the server if I could substitute for French onion soup for my meal and she said she's not sure so I was like? After waiting, I had the wrong meal, I had to look on the online menu since there were no more physical menus left and checked for the burger I originally wanted. So, I was charged double and got 2 chicken breast a piece of bread and soup. I didn't want to call the server because I think it would make her more mad and and it was busy so I didn't want to cause more hassle. I was really looking forward to that burger but didn't get what I wanted sadness.

Awesome calamari, beautifully spiced rice and caesar salad. Glad we stopped there for dinner. Great service!
