Pies were quite excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Their vibe isn't really there for sit down so I can't say it was anything much to look at, kind of just plain interior.

I ordered pie in this “store”. Come inside in the right time and nobody was there. I ask once, then second time. Nothing. Then I loudly said - ANYBODY HERE? Some women in the glass came and without any explanations throw my order to me. Yes! Throw! And gone. Manager, please, pay attention to your awful workers. I’ll never comeback. Also be sure that my friends and colleagues also will not buy anything from your store.

Absolutely the best key lime, lemon meringue, easter mini egg, and honestly every pie I've had. I came in and ordered online but I messed up and came a day early. They had the pie I ordered available and they gave it to me anyhow, like that's so accommodating.

Janelle is often at this shop and is so personable and works along side staff to make sure things get done.

Ordered the key lime pie - not impressed at all. The crust had a burnt taste and I couldn't even cut it. Not going back!

The Pie Hole is probably my favourite place for pies! I've tried many of their sweet pies, though none of their savoury pies (yet!). They have some classic pies but also some innovative ones, and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Some personal favorites are the To Die For Banana Cream Pie and the Vietnamese Coffee Pie. Just note that they close relatively early, at 6 PM everyday.

I am a big fan of the Pie Hole. Long time follower. Often I’d buy large pies for my clients to enjoy. My recent experience has prompted me to write this review.

Over the weekend, I called in well in advance to order a classic apple pie, and five hand pies. The lady was great at upselling, since I initially only wanted 2-3 hand pies. Upselling is perfectly fine.

What’s not fine was the classic apple pie was saggy, noticeably less content, whole pie was stuck to the aluminum pan, and the filling texture was laced with apple seeds’ hard shells. My guests and I thought they were eating fingernails.

As a long time fan, I really wouldn’t mind if pie prices go up, inflation and all, but please keep up with the quality. Thanks.

A treasure trove of delectable, finger licking delights. What a find! We were lost and found this tiny place in an alleyway. I’m so glad we got lost, lol!

Chickpea puff pastry + bailey peacan tart + caramel peanut butter pie? Was so utterly delicious. Come here often and always get the right taste looking for. Everything is so yummy.

Ordered delivery on Easter Sunday. Took roughly 30 minutes. 1st time trying their pies.
Verdict: Absolutely delicious!
Key Lime Pie is definitely the fam favorite!

Got three 5 inch pies to-go: chicken pot, lemon meringue, and Vietnamese coffee. The chicken pot pie was kind of dry but the dessert pies were delish! Would be open to trying their other flavours.
Also the staff were super sweet and friendly! Made our experience even more enjoyable:)

I had Key lime pie, Apple pie, Pumpkin pie and Chicken pot pie.
They are all good but the pumpkin pie was my favorite!
I didn’t expect much in chicken pot pie but…. MUST TRY their chicken pot pie! It was savory and full of flavor.

All of pie pastry is super delicious.

Some people say it’s pricy but I personally think the price is reasonable because I know how much effort to make a pie from a scratch!

Yummy. I got 3 pies and a hand pie from here. The hand pie was a bit dry probably cause I reheated it too long. But I also go 2 savory pies and 2 sweet ones on another day. All of them tasted so good. I'm usually not a huge fan of pies but this place boy oh boy it's DELICIOUS

A bit overpriced but honestly they are so delicious that it's worth getting it for special occasions. The christmas pies are to die for

I’ve picked up pies here several times…the consistency could be better. I’ve had pies that wowed me, and on occasion I’ve been disappointed (even when ordering the same pie). It’s been mostly ok though. I do enjoy their savoury pies like the bacon cheeseburger pie. This last time I enjoyed their Earl Grey cream pie. Lots of choices so I guess you’re bound to try some you really like and some that you won’t. I’d likely keep trying them as they have interesting choices, and their boxes make me laugh!

Very disappointing, not everything is that fresh. I would not return. Next door The Meatman has much nicer pies. Some he has in the freezer section you can bake at home as well.

Delicious pies. Best to order on their site days ahead to ensure you have the perfect pie. They do have pies ready to take home as well and fresh baked goods available.

High quality pies! They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for with the impeccably delicious flavours. We got 2 mini pies—the famous banana cream pie and blueberry goat cheese—both were gone in a day. Their handheld meat pies are amazing as well. We ordered the chicken carbonara one and it was heavenly. They are worth every penny. Will definitely be back for more.

Well, considering bananas are pennies on the dollar I was surprised that the 30.00 pie I ordered was not as advertised on the menu. It had no caramel sauce or banana bread. Also I'm pretty sure it was not cooked all the way. The only thing good about it really was topping. Definitely not worth the price.

Amazingly delicious selection of savoury and sweet pies! Highly recommend trying it if you are near Vancouver or Burnaby! The tastiest crust I've ever had!

Loved the Key Lime and Classic Apple pies which were excellent - crust was nice and flaky and buttery. Also had the Chicken Pot Pie and Seafood Chowder Hand Pies which lacked in substance/filling but had great flavour. Considering the cost, I have had more filling in Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, and samosa. Will definitely be returning for the desserts though.

I was so excited to learn there was a Pie Hole in my neighborhood! I have been coming here for years for all sorts of pie, either sweet or savory. My favourite ones are the Turkey Dinner (SO much easier than doing the real thing), Chicken Pot Pie, and Caramel Apple Crumble. What also rules is their hand pies - if you’re unsure what you want or you don’t want to try a full size pie, stop in and get a hand pie so you can sample the flavor!

The service was great and I love their wide selection of pies, but the prices are way out of my league. I bought a tiny blueberry pie/crumble for $5 (only thing affordable) and it tasted freezer burned to me. I wouldn’t go there again unless it was special occasion and someone requested pie. It’s just not affordable.

Ordered the pride pie, which was described as a cheesecake. It didn’t taste like cheesecake, it lacked flavor overall. Also, the presentation wasn’t nearly as nice as the photos posted. The sprinkles colors were already bleeding when i picked it up and the inside wasn’t as pictured. Overpriced for what it was, will likely be tossing the rest of it in the garbage. Wouldn’t recommend.

Had a not so good experience in the past. Decided to try and give it another try. Ordered a Fat Elvis and grab two smaller pies while picking up the others. The Fat Elvis was okay best. Crust was very soft and the banana cream was very runny. The Maple French Toast and bacon pie tasted very bland. The only pie that was good and I say good not great was the Vietnamese Coffee pie. The service the young lady provided was good but I felt bad as she had to answer so many questions that people were asking about pies in the displays that had no signs saying what they were.

Fun venue. Select ready to treats or grab and bake a pie at home. Great selection and lovely service. I'll update this review once I eat the treats tonight

Very delicious pies, I prefer the smaller ones I find the texture of the crust ends up way better then the larger pies they sell. But way too expensive, absolutely love there pies just hate paying 12$ for a tiny pie.

Tried the mini pies with 9 different flavours and some of their rhubarb crumble pies and they were all amazing! I definitely need to try more flavours and larger slices of pies. If you are not sure what to get, I suggest getting the minis to see which one you like the best before you commit to a big one. But like I said, they are all yummy. Too hard to pick faves but the banana cream pie, birthday cake, rhubarb crumble and elvis stood out to me! You can’t go wrong with any flavour.

The place is not fancy but they have great pies. Next time, I will try their savoury pies and coffee. For faster pickups, I recommend placing an order online.

I've bought about three large pies from the Pie Hole, along with a few smaller ones and a couple of miscellaneous items.

I have to admit that the quality can be a bit hit and miss. I decided to try them out due to their stellar reviews - and I do admit that some of their pies are decent (I enjoyed their pumpkin pie). Their staff has also been helpful, though I'd wish they would provide more info on the best way to prepare and eat their pies (instructions have been missing in the past).

I have unfortunately had a couple of very average pies and have found the quality of the crust or fillings to sometimes be sub-par, especially for the price. Most recently, I ordered the Birthday Pie, and was disappointed to find that the filling appeared to look quite different than what was advertised in promotional pictures. Normally I don't mind too much, but the amount of filling also seemed less than expected. Lastly, I found the crust a bit underwhelming (tough, maybe old or a little stale? Not sure).

I think this is a great local business and will probably try another pie again at some point in the future. In the meantime I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed.

June 19 2021 - Very disappointed with the pink lemonade pie. As I cut into it the filling started pouring out of the pie into the shell and the meringue collapsed. The photo is of the fresh cut. 5 min later it was even more horrendous. Huge disappointment to everyone, especially my mom who was really looking forward to it at the hospital. For the top dollar I expected way better. Should caution customers that they’ll need a ladle for this one.

Delish pies of a variety of fun flavors. Good from frozen or fresh. Due to the high price though, more of a special occasion item.

I have a pie obsession in general, so discovering The Pie Hole is a dream come true. The pies are all amazing, both the sweet ones and the savoury ones. It's got something for everyone. If you like pie, try it!

It’s always a good time here. They usually have a good selection of frozen and fresh pies for your picking, but order ahead if you want a specific flavour. The staff are super friendly and knowledgable.
