Meh. Very basic. Lots of TVs so it's a good place to catch a game. They have the sound on for Canucks games. The server was friendly. My drink was fine. Didn't eat. The neighborhood sucks. 2 homeless people wandered into the restaurant while I was there. I parked in the lot across the street and my car was surrounded by homeless people. I feared my windows would get smashed. No need to go back
I guess I'm gonna stop coming over, I like the food overall, almost every time they're out of pulled pork though and the kitchen avoids to do the small requests, they prefer doing it their own ways rather than listening to the customer. Great music mostly (live dj), sometimes including tonight it's all over the place. I see great potential for this place, however, it seems they don't care about customer service as much as they should. Worth of try, you might get a different experience, I'm not wowed.
Good pre sports match bar, or sports in general but that’s about it. Service can be a bit shaky but usually friendly. Big bonus is the amount of space!
Hands down the best wings in the lower mainland, served by the pound rather than "12 wings" which could be the size of a pinky. Huge list of flavours to choose from (most of which I have tried and loved). Cheap big wings, fairly cheap beer, what more is there to ask for?
Was visiting Vancouver in sept, had the best service at the pint! The manager made us feel welcome and even gave us good seats to watch the UFC fights! Thank you!
Surprised and disappointed that certain staff members of The Pint are charging an automatic tip for terrible self-serve bar service without asking and then soliciting another tip when he handles the credit card machine. This clandestine maneuver is not only illegal but highly tarnished the goodwill of their customers. I urge potential customers to steer clear of this establishment, as their disregard for transparency and customer trust is unacceptable.
I had a bad experience. The female bartender during my stay was drinking with patrons beside me, would pay way more attention to other patrons, took forever to get my bill, and the beer isn't super cold. Overall terrible experience. Will NEVER go back.
Honestly some of the best wings in downtown Van right now. I'm a big fan of their honey sriracha with a 7 pepper dip on the side.you get that sweet spicy mix and then you kick it up with a splash of the 7 pep every other wing or so. I wish they had a bit of a better local craft selection for beers on tap, however.
Staff seem cool, layout is nice. Can't say I like the food or the prices ($$$) all that much. The quality of the meals is lower than some local competition and expensive. They have deals on appetizers but nothing that seems good or interesting. Still a great place to sit and watch the game.
Came in for the UFC fights and could not stay. Dirty smells coming from the bar, no air conditioning, nor air flow. Was so hot and sticky inside, totally uncomfortable.
I brought my team here for a company appreciation event, the wings were great, the service was great, but most of all the management is great to work with.
This is a great venue to pick when you're meeting up with a large group or a small group of people, be sure to reserve a table in advance though, they fill up quickly!
Big props go out to their manager, Jeff Lockwood, thanks for always looking out for my team and making sure we're well taken care of.
Delicious wings! My fav is honey garlic and dripping in the mustard they have on the table! Great prices on beer too! Don't drink their wine on tap, it being on tap explains why!
Ive been here many times and its usually good service and food even when busy. This last time was the worst, the servers were clueless. We sat down there were 4 empty tables all hadnt been cleared yet. Our server told us she would be right back to wipe down the table, she proceeds to chat and joke with the other servers at the bar. She then whipes down the 3 other empty tables forgets about us and then another 20 minutes she comes back to wipe ours down. It took forever to get a single drink, my cesar was all tobasco when it finally arrived. I ordered the beef yorkies and the beef was dry they were terrible and tasteless. Every time I tried to flag the server down she would look at us and walk away, the girl was absolutely clueless. When she finally brought us out drinks she walked away before I could order more. The bathroom was disgusting. Wont be back. This place has gone down hill, stay away!
I usually stick to posting favorable reviews but was surprised at how underwhelmed I was by the food and service at Pints. The wings were quite greasy, the wrap was alright but overpriced at $17.00, and the two bartenders in the back never cracked a smile. Plus they added one of my friend items to my bill by mistake (we were sitting at the bar), but of course, I blew it off. After leaving 15% (post tax), I didn't even get a thank you. Having said all that, he service was efficient, the vibe of the place was good, and the beer was cold. Would I go back? Only if friends were already there and asked me to join.
