I was very impressed with the extensive testing methods and Dr Brian’s thorough explanation. He also had good caring bedside manner and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

A great place to care for your body structure to achieve your maximum general health. The doctor and staff are very kind and professional.

This was the most in-depth and personalized experience I’ve had at a chiropractor before! They create a detailed portfolio and map out a plan for you to improve your health while making the corrections where they’re needed! It’s run by such a nice couple and really friendly staff that take the time to get to know their patients personally as well as what care they need. Their dog Teddy is also a sweetheart and I love him.

I recently had a great experience with a treatment provider. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming. Dr. Brian was my treatment provider and he was very attentive in explaining the entire treatment process and always made himself available to answer my questions. Thanks to his help, I have seen a significant improvement in problems that have been bothering me for years. Additionally, the nutrition, self-knowledge, and mobility challenges that were offered were very informative, easy to understand, and practical to implement which complemented my treatment well. Overall, I'm very grateful for the excellent work provided.

It’s amazing to have a tailored plan for my body’s specific needs and a program that targets specific goals. Then to be able to see real progress. I’ve been to several chiros before trying Powerhouse, and they really do things differently here. So much so that it’s completely changed my paradigm of what chiropractic therapy can do and where it lives in my wellness plan.

First off, I was diagnosed to having scoliosis 2 yrs. Ago at the age of 58, it hit me hard & fast, by that I mean I had a Daisy Duke figure the next minute I was like grandma of the Beverly Hillbillies, actually even she had a better figure than me. The front staff and Doctors are absolutely lovely including the clinic dog too. This is a process worth staying the course! I am experiencing far better posture, an increased ability to exercise and in general feeling better since starting treatment at the Powerhouse.

What can I say about this place - other than wonderful things! My husband started going here because of his lower back pain and I decided to go for long-term maintenance and spine health since I'd never been to a chiropractor before so thought I'd start now while I'm young. I was nervous because I had no idea what to expect but for over the past two years, its been an essential part of optimizing my health and wellness. This is the place for you if you want to go to a pain-free chiro clinic, appreciate the holistic approach, like having preventative/mobility daily care tips you can also do at home so you are accountable and empowered, and where you can also see gradual progress in your personal results internally and externally.

The premise behind Power House is a simple one - treat the core problem, not only the symptoms. Simple perhaps, but I have never encountered such thorough preliminary testing to address what is actually going on within your body. As a new patient, after my first check-up (with correction) I notice a marked difference. Happy to be onboard!

By the end of my pregnancy I was in so much pain that I was almost unable to walk, decided to start treatment and after a couple of weeks I was feeling perfectly, had no pain and felt ready to deliver my baby, I feel so good after every correction! Very friendly atmosphere and even my toddler loves visiting the Powerhouse Chiropractic!

I've been with powerhouse chiropractic since August and they give you advice on stretches, have follow up exams every few weeks depending on how long you'll need correcting.
Dr. Dax is great with giving advice on stretches and is concerned about any pain you may have.
Dr.brian corrects you just right and is great for any questions you have.
Dr. T is so gentle and is fabulous on showing you where to use a foam roller and giving any advice on how to improve your movements!
Their all amazing in there own ways.
Members at the front desk are also very welcoming and social!

I used to think it's a good place to improve my posture and spine. I went for 24 sessions (3 months, twice a week) and they mention it's a 10 mins check up that turned out to be 3-5 mins (I did record the time lap). My neck posture went worse. At the end of my 3 months treatment window, the doctor recommended another 6 months (one session per week) to improve more.my neck is still restricted and it's posture went worse but my back improved dramatically. I showed my results to 2 different chiropractors and they said that I should see a big improvement for my neck, same as my back.on the top of that, they keep pushing you to buy vitamins, stretching equipment, adjusting neck pillow etc.very bad experience. Another client had the same experience and she left a bad review here as well (a month ago). Never going back. They'll keep finding issues so they keep draining your credit cards.

As a health coach I understand the benefits of regular chiropractic care. I’ve personally been under chiropractic care for the last 12 years, I believe it’s vitally important to my ongoing good health! At the powerhouse I’ve received great chiropractic care and ongoing support that’s helped me achieve my health goals!

I've always been hesitant with Chiros, but Powerhouses' whole life approach to fixing issues demonstrates that they're invested in not only their practice, but improving the quality of life of their clients.

UPDATE: though I still agree their whole life approach is good. In the end they re-affirmed every hesitation I have about chiros.

Powerhouse has the friendliest people (and the cutest office dog)! Dr's Thea, Brian and Dax are all excellent and take their time to know you, what you're looking to get out of the treatment and ensure that you're getting the best care. The treatment plans take time, it's not a "one and done" chiropractic clinic, but it's worth it for your long term health!

The initial consultation and exam costs $167.

They ask you to come back to review your test results, and give you a fullbinder of “homework” which doesn’t contain any actual practical advice on what to do, instead it’s pages and pages of trying to upsell you on a TWICE weekly, 12 week program that costs $1495 if you leave your credit card on file, and $1748 if paid by debit or cash.

Even with respect to rehab taking time, I would’ve appreciated having at least ONE tip on what I could do to improve my specific health in this thick binder, instead of my only homework listed being “Sign up for our various workshops! ”

They are on top off all my needs and listen to my concerns. They also give lots of great advice and tips on how to maintain my body on my own. Everyone at the clinic is super friendly and Cleo at the front is always so nice and warm. Would highly recommend seeing Dr. Brian or Dr. Thea. Also with Covid going on right now i feel very safe and the place always feels clean and sanitized.

As a " mature " person hoping to prove my doctor wrong when he said my back was a complete disaster from arthritis and nothing could be done I came to the Powerhouse over a year ago and put myself in Dr. Brian and Dr. Thea' s care. The best thing I could have ever done. Much improvement! They are most dedicated and very caring. The whole staff wonderful as well.

I do not recommend this clinic for prenatal care! Found Dr Brian to be very condescending, as he would constantly make odd comments about my clothing and growing body. Mamas to be, look somewhere else!

Today was my second visit to The Powerhouse Chiropractic. I was very impressed with Dr Brian and his team from initial consultation, to exam and follow up and first adjustment. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Also they have a dog, his name is Teddy and he's pretty awesome.

Using the services of The Powerhouse made me realize the importance of maintenance and self care. It is like a car, if you don't take care of it, it does not stay in a good state for long, and the older it gets the more obvious it shows. They offer an holistic approach. I don't know if it conventional as it is my first experience with a chiropractor.

Powerhouse worries about your long-term health and works to improve your quality of life in several aspects. Better sleep, better posture, less headaches, less sickness are all results I have achieved with them. I highly recommend them.

I'm not one to write reviews typically but I thought I needed to share my poor experience as a new patient at this clinic. With BC recently lifting some of their restrictions, I thought I'd stop by in this "well-reviewed" clinic. I've been interested in chiro for a while but had no idea what I was getting into.

I was a little apprehensive cause I was of the impression that chiro visits involved pretty intimate care. Especially after social distancing and work primarily being done on the spine and neck. I came in for a free consultation which quickly turned into a series of intrusive exams that I wasn't consulted on in detail before entering them. I ended up paying that appointment.

Came back for another appointment where Dr. Brian clarified everything which led to pricing. I reviewed it and went to book another appointment. When I asked more questions about the structure of the appointment it was loosely stated as "10 minute appointments twice a week". With it lacking detail once again, I asked the receptionist for Dr. Brian to give me a call so i could understand better and I would do my own research. It's up to the clinic to educate me.in my opinion, not myself.

Then, I receive an email saying i'm sorry you won't be getting started. I responded saying it wasn't that but i wanted to learn and that communication and detail have been disjointed. Dr. Brian responds by saying "sorry you felt that way" not taking any ownership around the my unanswered questions or gaps in detail of my appointment. I felt the moment i started asking questions was the moment they decided they didn't want me as a customer.

Wouldn't recommend a first timer coming here. It's too bad there isn't a 'zero' star option.

I was looking for help with my back/neck pain and nervous system problems and was amazed to find a chiro clinic taking a systematic personalized approach to spinal alignment and the nervous system. The clinic atmosphere is modern and inviting, the location is central, staff are lovely, and I'll be bringing my daughter in soon too.

I've been going to this practice for a little less than a year and I feel that my back and my overall health is much better now. I don't believe in easy fix that's why I liked their approach. It took time to do the damage, so it would only make sense that it takes time to fix it. I strongly recommend the Powerhouse!

They have a comfortable office environment, friendly staff and modern booking systems with flexible appointment times. Definitely recommend.
