The Range Langley Indoor Shooting

Had a LITERAL blast at The Range Langley. Our range instructor Zac was awesome. He was knowledgeable and patient. His personable and energetic personality made the experience! Highly recommend paying them a visit to fire off a few rounds and get the lead out! Ok, no more gun puns. Ask for Zac.

We were in a few weeks ago and it was such a great experience. Very well ventilated! Zack was absolutely such a pleasure to chat with and he helped us out and was super knowledgeable. He gave us so many tips and tricks and gave us advice on products to purchase that would elevate our experience. We recently went out and purchased the items recommended by Zack and we can definitely say our experiences on our own and at the range have been improved. Thanks so much for having us!

It was a memorable experience, thanks to the great instructor Mikee. He help us to take our own time to understand and ask multiple questions as a first time shooter. I will definitely come back for this experience again.

Visited for the first time today. Found the staff very friendly and the firearm selection good. The range was easy to navigate and organized. Will definitely be back.

Had an absolutely blast here earlier today! I forget the name of the guy who helped my friend and I shoot but he was awesome and super fun to have around. First time and loved the experience:)

- Staff is friendly
- Their safety glasses are not well cleaned and disinfected. I got a nasty eye infection from wearing one their glasses and now I can't open my right eye and I'm taking really strong antibiotics to fight the infection.
- Their markup on the ammo is wild. 18 dollars per bullet for the sniper rifle is excessive.
- The guns work well

Lots of fun! The staff are very knowledgeable and kind. It's quite evident that firearms are their passion in and outside of work.

Having only been shooting once before, I was worried about looking like a goofy newbie, but that wasn't an issue when dealing with staff, through selecting which firearms you're bringing out, and actually using them.

It's not terribly cheap between entry, rental, and ammunition, but not absurdly expensive. Especially considering you're doing something that's relatively "novel" in Canada. Definitely worth it for an outing. Excited to bring my family here when they're out to visit.

Went today for our first time. We are licensed and have experience with various ranges. This is a very good indoor range. Nice lounge when you come in, friendly people at the desk. Clean and nice facilities. We completed the waiver the night before, and they promptly told us we can go ahead and begin our session we were 15 minutes early and the only ones on the range at the time. The firing range is a modern indoor range with all the amenities (I will say it was very warm in there, it was 30 degrees outside. Could see heaters for winter time) 30m long, good for rimfire, pistols and shotgun work. The person I came with had a bad jam we could not work out, and the staff had someone come and help us out to get us shooting quickly again. I will definitely be back, and I am now contemplating a membership. If you enjoy shooting, support these local clubs as this is becoming more rare in Canada.

Employees are very knowledgeable, and customer service is a great and friendly environment. I love visiting this location. They simply have everything and more. Hoping to visit again for my license process. Great place, must visit this location.

March. 30.2023 This week I've been going often since i thought I'd try to catch up for the months I missed due to health reasons and I just wnnt to give a huge Shout out to Sandy for being so accomadating and a pleasure to deal with. Its always a a great experience there but she makes it just a just that much better when she's working the front desk.

As far as range officers go, I learn something new from Matt each time I visit. He's a solid guy once you get to know him.

Overall most employees here are 5* in friendliness and service but like all places there's the few that go above and beyond. The ones that make you smile when you see their on shift that day plus I'm outgoing myself so I love the outgoing staff members even more.

Great experience, nice range and big selection of guns. Also 5 stars to George he was great!

1 hr is NOT enough for a family. We drove 2hrs round trip and payed $130 plus taxes for my wife and I to just be loading magazines for my boys, so they can get their time in. By the time we unpack, set up, and cleaned up/packed, 15mins goes by right there. The range fails to realize having 2 lanes with 2 people in each, or 1 lane with 4 people is the same amount of money for them in the end. Why not let a family of 4 have 2 hours so everyone can have their fun, and it's non rushed. We are dealing with firearms and there is no room for error. It would be the same thing if my wife had a PAL and we each took one of our sons and took up 2 lanes. These teens are the future of your business. When I called to complain, I was told we could get extra time if it's "not busy. " Thats not good enough when our travel time is 2hrs. The least that could of been done, is a booking for 2 solid hours for 4 people" The range is beautiful, and our politics align, however, we won't be coming back.

My first range shooting experience, and I have to say it was amaaaZing. And there is no doubt that most of this was because of Chris, our cool trainer and officer, make sure to ask for him if you’re going.

Really enjoyed their range. Staff were friendly and courteous. I would recommend anyone with or without a Pal/Rpal to use their facilities. Safety was great too. Washrooms we’re cleaner than their competitor!

Super fun and good experience. Make sure to take your time shooting and be ready to spend your money. Time will fly by FAST.

First off way better than Poco. The range is longer, no dumb rules like you need a membership to shoot your rifle or no stockless shotguns. I will be back and looking to move my membership here. I enjoyed the facility thank you.

If I knew the money I paid was going to be used towards the occupation of Ottawa, I would have never visited this establishment at all.

I came to The Range looking for a safe and fun experience, and that’s exactly what they provided. Every person we encountered treated us with respect and kindness. The smiles on their faces were warm and refreshing, a genuinely positive and patient environment. I look forward to coming back time and again as I wait for my PAL to arrive (is there a dance that brings our licenses quicker?) Thank you for the great memories!

My go to range, always a good time. Good selection of rifles and handguns/ targets. Employees are polite, professional and helpful. It can be a little cold so dress warm! That’s my only complaint

Wow, it’s not that I doubt this place is fun on its own… but my experience today would’ve been nothing without LLIAM! He was dope, helpful, funny, instructive, and relatable. Me and my girlies were a tad nervous about shooting but he made us feel so at ease and taught us everything we need to know. This guy is ON ONEEE! And he GETS IT! YAY LIAM!

Went shooting here and watched some wave a gun around at patrons, staff didn’t really seem to care. Never going back

By far the best indoor range around. Wonderful people, wonderful principles, and wonderful values!

Came here a month ago and booking to come again next week. The gentleman there who assisted us was very helpful, kind, and made sure safety was a top priority. I will continue to support such a great business and I think I speak on behalf of a lot of fringe minority Canadians when I say I am thankful for your courage.

Jeez. What’s with all the hate? Just because someone stands up for something? Is this what the world has come to? Great vibes, nothing but professional individuals here, and do NOT deserve this.

Very fun experience that I would visit often.
The price is on the higher side which is expected.

Great spot, friendly staff. Good selections of guns. Although would have preferred a more diverse selection of guns. Would recommend. They were also not as busy as Coquitlam location which is a plus.

Great experience and the staff are great! Our range officer I think Grady was his name was knowledgeable and awesome! Highly recommend this place. Will be back definitely.

Decent prices, however we we're rushed through our session being told we only have an hour. They said we could stay longer if other groups didn't show up yet half the range was empty.

The Asian RO is the best in hospitality and service. Definitely recommend this range to anyone interested in shooting. One of the best ranges in B. C.

Great location, great staff. A great place to go shooting.

Just one issue though, from the last time I was there (Aug 2021) :

Out of the 50.223 rounds I ordered, there were 4 duds. As in the round didnt fire, so i took out the magazine, racked the rifle again to take out the faulty round, put that round back in the magazine, magazine back in the rifle, racked it again and pulled the trigger - nothing happens. The round also clearly had the dent in the back where the firing pin struck the round.

This happened 4 times in less than 50 rounds. This to me is an unacceptably high failure rate. The staff were prompt to recognize the issue, and replaced my rounds right away. Again, the staff at this location are top-notch.

Maybe there is a problem with the rounds they have in storage, however. It was annoying to have so much faulty ammo.

First time here. Great atmosphere. The family had a great time. Staff are very professional & knowledgeable. Great selection of guns. Will be returning for sure. Thanks guys.

The lady at the front desk was helpful and informative. I felt like the male staff members working the range were rude. Decided to end things off with still a couple rounds left to spare. For the price, was feeling a bit underwhelmed. Want to try another range next time.

Great and professional experience. Jeff made shooting easy and fun! The staff was very organized and safe. The facility was new with well maintained equipment and a wide selection of fire arms.

We went for date to try something different and it was amazing. The staff were great in every part of the facility, everything was professional and felt safe. Our instructor had great communication skills considering it was hard to hear over gun shots and the ear protection. I believe his name was Liam. I will go back and drag everyone I know because it's more then just shooting it's an experience. Thank you all very much.

The Range provides professional and affordable services. So much variation with their riffles which is my muse. I recommend participating because it's such a good time.

Appreciate they took the time and effort to open this range to give gun owners more places to shoot. Staff have always been friendly even when I misbooked the amount of people over the phone they were still accommodating. Range Officers are polite and helpful. Targets are set up on a switch for easy retrieval. Heaters on most lanes for the cold weather days. Rifle range goes out to about 30 metres.

The Range, Langley is one of my favourite places to be, as a gun lover. Staff up there are really friendly, helpful and supportive. Recently I have been there with my friends and shot couple of rounds. At the time of payment, the amount was so much more than that we expected. As we requested the receipt and cross checked the amount, they figured a mis calculation from their side. The number of rounds were over counted. So please so verify your receipt to avoid confusions and over pay. It was not deliberately done by the staff, it was just a mistake. However, always remember to double check like you do with any gun

Brought my son for practice shooting very impress with the place, clean and friendly staff.lots of guns to choose from.my son enjoyed it there.will definitely come back again with more family members and friends.

Facility is well designed and very nice. Unfortunately, the employees were rude and arrogant towards civilians and non-members that bring their own firearms and ammunition. During our interactions with the staff, we felt hurried and talked down to.

This is a very well organized facility. Knowledgable staff, excellent equipment. Best indoor range experience I've ever had. I'll be joining.

First of all I really like the decor here! Super cool.

Staff was friendly and we got through the paperwork fast.

Facilities were good, automated, target holders, gun racks, heaps of stowage for all the other stuff required for a range outing.

Great experience. I couldnt figure out why my gun wasnt firing. Range master helped me out. Cool environment I'll be getting a membership next time I come.

I usually go to the other gun range in Coquitlam but thought of trying a different location and now its has become my favourite for above mentioned reasons.

Its little hard to find this place on ur own especially if you are not local but the GPS will guide you here. Parking is not a problem as they have their exclusive parking.

Step in and be amazed by the collection of guns they have for you to fire from. All other hunting and firing related decor also takes you to an army camp. Or atleast an army mans living room.

There is one big room upstairs next to washroom where they take fire license classes or maybe available for rent too. The building is pretty old but intact.
Before you head to range to shoot, there is a selection process. U fill ur basic details form and show ur govt ID to them n wait for your turn to pick ur guns (cool.right?). No, the coolest part is shooting. Once u have picked up ur guns, they will put them at your assigned range for you.

All you have to do is wear your safety glasses and noise resistant head phones and go to ur spot on the range (by the way, they regularly sanitize them)
The range is quite cold. 8 gun fire lanes. There is gun range safety officer if you need him else just hang ur target, aim and shoot.

Now here is my favourite part. Cost effectiveness Adult drop-in is $35 ; handgun rental $5 ; rifle rental $7. Its the ammunition that breaks ur back but here it wasn’t bad. In total i got 10 rounds for around $150. I have paid more so this was good price for me.
I will be going back for more.

Took my son shooting for his first time. The guy at the counter was nice and helpful. Another staff member came over was very
rude and condisending. End result was no shooting and my son will never go back there. Not user friendly expecially if your young.

Just became a member love the place extremely friendly staff comfortable place you feel at home great experience cannot fault the place at all would recommend it to anybody yes it is expensive but it’s indoors open seven days a week closest 10pm every day and if you’re getting into the sport of shooting everything about it is expensive but an experience that’s well worth it

Dont waste your time and money here. Very cold inside. The heater in my lane did not work. When I complained to the manager he just blamed it on the previous user. Even though there were exposed wires. Was only there for 30min, but they still charged me for 1hr.

First, and pretty much only visit to the range.

Took my customers to a "fun event". Group of 6, booked in advance. Reported three PAL holders, regular shooters. Three supervised folks. Our own guns and ammo.

Got one lane for the whole party of six, which raised the eyebrows. I booked in advanced and I said six, with three supervisors/PAL holders! OK, fine, we will go with it I guess.
The facility is pretty nice, 30m which is better than many in the Lower Mainland, that's a plus.
Well, everything else was a minus:
- freezing temps inside, one of my party simply left unable to stay any longer because of the cold
- inconsiderate, police-like (not in a good way) range officer. You probably know the type, that has all the answers beforehand, way before the questions or reasons come. I can't speak for what the others are like, but ours was kind of guy who you won't want to talk to ever again.
- got kicked out - "you guys have been here for almost two hours, we have other people wanting the lane". And that was never mentioned before hand when we booked that we can't have it for more than one hour. 6 people, one lane. (you guys did not give us two, never mind three for three PAL holders despite us asking) one hour.well. All six paid, regardless of the service levels.
We have been regular shooters for well over 10 years, members of a few ranges. This could not have been more different from our normal experiences. That's the only visit to the Langley range, and based on the feedback I heard from all people in my party today - that's the last one.
At the end of the day, if I want to do a fun event for friends and customers I want them to enjoy it. And if they leave looking funny at me - it is bad business, and I'm not going to do it again
Very different experience we have had at other places. Heck, DVC next time.

Good facility. However, the prices have gone up way to high for everything. Unless you purchase the premium package you get no perks which is sad. I used to be able to get a free gun rental and was able to bring in a friend for free. That's all off the table. I dont think I will renew my membership again as it is not worth it. I been a member since the place was under construction and you would think to get a loyalty plan of some sort. Your better off dropping in for the day only and save your money. Btw there is no more wait list to be a member so this makes it very busy at most times if you dont book in advance.

This was one of the best indoor ranges I have been to. Air conditioning was great. Range itself is 30m which is great for indoors. I believe high powered rifles and ammunition are allowed to be fired here because the people next to me were firing what seemed to be. 50 bmgs out of what looked like a barret rifle. A little forewarning for new ones: shotshells are not allowed. The lowest I could go was #4 buckshot. Only buckshots and slugs are allowed so you won't be able to pattern your shots here.

Staff are extremely polite and considerate. I brought my family to get them used to handling firearms and the staff were very accommodating to the needs of first time shooters. Will definitely go again.

I'm from Trinidad first time firing guns and I went with my 12yr old step daughter we both enjoyed it greatly, our instructor Andrew was very patient and helpful with us he even gave us an idea of the prices upfront before we began. Targets and shells are also given as takeaways. Calling and making a reservation gives you a discount.

5-star experience at The Range Langley! Huge thanks to Andrew for the complimentary VIP Package provided in lieu of an initial booking error. I can't say enough abut the professional instruction and guidance we received from our Range officer Dobson, great guy! The facilities are nicely laid out and included an instructional video and one-on-one follow up with our range officer. The package included a little bit of everything. The weapons we used: CZ Shadow 2 9MM pistol, Tavor TAR-21.223 rifle, Keltec KSG 12 gauge (John Wick!) shotgun and we finished with the extremely cool Barrett M99.50 BMG long-range precision rifle. We will be back soon to try out some of the other weapons.

Not recommend to come to this place. Bad experience during my visit and friends on the weekend with one of the Range Officer, it looks that he targeted the minority group.

If it’s your first time shooting at this Range make sure you get a quote first because if you pay later you will not be happy!

My experience is bittersweet, but my group is satisfied, and shooting make us really happy which all matters.

I still recommend DVC though.

First time to go to a shooting range and it was fun! The staff was very friendly and also they guided us along the way.they explain everything in detail.step by step.they also let you watch a safety video prior to the actual shooting range! The guide was very supportive and also gave you compliments if your target was good! Hahaha though a little expensive it was a great experience!

I went there with my family for having fun. It was our first time and I stated 3 times that it's our first time please confirm the charges or any other costs. The customer service dint not talk about the drop in fees, just told about the packages. Before we even went inside I offered to pay nd was refused stating its busy nw you can pay later. When we came outside they gave the bill of 400$ nd the package was just 129 and rest was the fees. Even after confronting the person who told us, he said I never knew that you dint knew about the fees, as its mentioned on the screen. I dont know how clever these people could be. If I knew everything via reading the screen, why would I talk to you at first place. It was very annoying. Not only that the was another group complaining the same thing.

Had a great time at this facility. Very well run - the folks there all know what they are talking about. Was very pleased to get excellent advice on my pistol grip and stance, and they improved my shooting. Highly recommended and will return for 100% sure

I am someone who knew nothing of guns and had never shot a gun before. But at the range they made me feel extremely safe. The staff was very knowledgeable and very helpful. If it hadn’t been for the workers I know my experience wouldn’t had been as good because I was horrified of the gun and didn’t know how to shoot but they guided me the whole way and through the process. Would 100% recommend for anyone who is new to guns/experienced shooters.
