The Royal Anne Hotel

This hotel is decent. It is close to the lake park and on the same street with all of the downtown district shops. It is a pleasant walk around the town. The hotel itself feels dark inside and a bit dated, but overall an okay stay. There is surface and underground parking. The access is easy and the parking is well lit.

Toilet has hair sitting at the bottom of it and both toilet and shower don’t drain properly at all. Water was sitting almost at knees height in the bathtub. Front desk’s attitude was rude and claims that it wasn’t a big deal. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed and enjoyable vacation stay.

I appreciate your response, but I'd like to emphasize that my intention in providing feedback was not solely about seeking discounts or freebies. It's more about the way a hotel handles such situations with integrity and a customer-oriented mindset.

A simple gesture and a sincere attitude go a long way in showing that a business cares about its customers. Unfortunately, I didn't experience this during my stay. My review aimed to highlight these aspects, and your response seems to deflect responsibility rather than address these concerns.

Very nice accommodation and location, but lack of enough parking proved to be a downer. The staff were super throughout our stay and also did their best to help with the parking issue.
Location near Lake was real nice!
Recommend Royal Anne but beware of the lack of parking.

Very dissapointing. The room was not what they had described when we booked at all. Furthermore, our car was stolen inside the hotel parking and they barely helped us solve the problem. I wouldn't recommmend this hotel.

I would rate this a 4.5 though, great hotel in the kelwona downtown. Rooms r sufficient size. There is a Irish pub in downstairs, you get 20% off if you are staying in this hotel. They offer breakfast included price, breakfast also pretty much standardised. All the parks around the lake you can just walk and visit from this place.

Only drawback is there Is no ramp in the hotel main gate, only stairs. When you have a stroller you need to lift it and enter into the hotel

Wonderful location, very close to everything you need. The staff were really kind and accommodating. The room was comfy and they even have proper climate control in the room. I would recommend the Royal Anne to anyone that is looking for a wonderful hotel to stay at while in Kelowna.

Stayed for a couple of nights in April, old hotel but clean and some updates. Service from the front desk was excellent. Never tried the free breakfast. Free parking is a little tight in the underground but there is exterior parking too

The Royal Anne Hotel was a great experience! The location is right in the heart of downtown, very convenient. The room offered a beautiful view of the lake and boardwalk from the fifth floor. TV has Chromecast attached. Amazing value for the amenities, including sauna and gym. We liked the free breakfast as it offered many options and was delicious. The staff were very friendly and check in/checkout process was very smooth. There is designated parking underground and behind the building, as well as free street parking 6pm-9am. Highly recommended!

Great location! Stayed in king suite. Great room. Good size, good view, will def stay again if in area

Great location! We paid extra for the King Suite and had amazing views of the lake and surrounding area. The rooms were quiet and clean. The hotel has little pieces of it's history up on it's wall and it was really fun to learn about the area. Being a 5 minute walk from the Waterfront Boardwalk was amazing! Such much delicious food near by. Will definitely stay again!

This was the perfect location for a night out in downtown Kelowna. Everything we wanted was in walking distance.dinner, pubs, dancing! The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Our room was big, with a huge shared balcony. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Would definitely book there again.

Modern and clean. Friendly staff to help with things to do and see. Called to inquire about satisfaction with room status. Very close to a number of bars and eatery. Wlking distance to the park.

Great location, good services, parking is a bit tight but not a big issue. Free parking in this hotel can save you a lot parking fee if you stay mostly in the lake area.
And it is a hotel with history.

The absolute worst customer service. We stayed here for 2 nights and at check-in the staff was so completely rude and disrespectful. We will never return here.

Nice hotel in a good location. The room was clean and well appointed. The small balcony was great for fresh air. There was a full size mirror outside the bathroom. I also appreciated the small make-up mirror in the bathroom - perfect for doing make-up and contact lenses! There's ice water with fruit in the foyer, which I think is a lovely touch. Rooms include breakfast, which was generally very good. There was lots of variety, however some options were disappointing: the boiled eggs were way overcooked (black inside), the frittata looked good but was barely edible, and the pastries were dense and chewy (not fresh at all).

Great location, abysmal staff. The manager actively belittled and denied our service requests, including concerns about broken glass in the room, and was overheard training other front desk staff to do the same. When we asked if our rate could be reduced because we'd booked for 3 but were only 2, our request was denied (which is fine), but thanked because now they knew to only look for 2 bodies if there was a fire.

It was clean, staff was friendly, Breakfast was Yumm And Fresh, reasonable priced.
Its right in downtown, close to the bus station, 2 min walk to the lake, amazing places to eat nearby, provides airport shuttle.
I am from toronto but if i ever come back here i am definatelly coming back to this hotel.

I would give this hotel minus stars if I could. I would like to start with that fact that the actual hotel is fine - Housekeeping staff were great, rooms was clean and comfy and breakfast, although limited was good, and the location is amazing.
However the attitude and unhelpfulness of the front desk staff was awful and insulting - when checking in the hold amount for the room of over $700 was placed on two credit cards when it should only go on one. We were lucky and we still had other funds on our credit cards but for other people this could have caused huge financial issues for their trip. When we spoke to the front desk they didn't care that they had held extra funds - not even a sorry.
Three days after check out the hold was reversed as normal with only charge left being the price of the room, as normal. Four days after check out two new holds for the hotel totaling $1430 was placed on my credit card. When I contacted the hotel there answer was an email with no words just a screen shot. After some back an forth (in which the language in the hotels emails were condescending trying to explain how things work - i work for a luxury hotel i know how this works) I sent a screen shot of the charge and the date of the hold which they still kept denying - This hold is not necessary and does not have permission. But most of all the attitude of the hotel is hugely disappointing and horrific with a completed disregard for the meaning of customer service or for the fact that for some people, this situation could mean not being able to pay their rent.

The room was comfortable. There is a strong musk fragrance that is synonymous with older buildings. I left the sliding patio door open until it's fresh again and that seem to do the trick. Left the bathroom fan on through the night, which wasn't too loud for me. Free continental breakfast.
