The best salvation army store in Vancouver! Very clean and well organized. There is a lot of variety and excellent prices. The staff are very friendly and polite.

This is my Favorite second hand store aside from My Sisters closet. The staff here are so nice, the store is so clean, and the clothes are always displayed in a very creative way. There is a seniors discount everyday. I walk there via the Green way trail. Visit 41st and Arbutus and go to the Salvation Army thrift store. I have been going to this store for 9 years. It's simply a wonderful store. The staff are always polite and friendly.

Easy walking around and relatively clean. Like most other thrift stores, it offers kitchen stuff, electronics, shoes, clothing and etc. You can drop off donation items at the back of the store.

This is my son's and I place to go and find cool stuff. Iv been taking him since he was 2 yrs. He is 8 now. We always find interesting things that we can use. And it's where me and him donate stuff that we no longer need.

One of my favourites as a fun outing. The store is v crowded, hard to move around and moderately organized. The housewares section is huge and has many gems often brand new. I find high end sports clothes here but rarely good runners etc. I really love the older building w hand laid tiles and classic decor. Parking is always avail for a few dollars in the meter. You have to go in with a patient mindset.there are some treasures but you will have to search through things. Happy thrifting:)

I went today for the first time at that location. The prices were ridiculous. There was a few deals. Item sizes were not the same as racks said, makes it very hard to shop.

They over charged me 3 x what they were supposed to charge me.
However, they dealt with the issue in a very sensitive and timely manner. Much appreciated.

If you need housewares, they have a good selection.

Unfriendly staff when I donated some stuff to them. It felt that I owed them something. Will not donate to them again. Big brother is more friendly and they come to pick up the donation.

Price is semi okay better than value village. But why all the employees so UNHAPPY? The guy checked out for me was literally throwing the bag on the counter. Like what have I done to his life idk. The other lady looked at me like I was guilty of something.
Btw I really don’t understand the prices at thrift shops right now. I thrift just for fun so I’m not sure how the people need shop secondhand could feel about those prices.

Store is located in the core Kerrisdale business area. It is in proximity to residential areas of low rise apartments to large single family homes and therefore has a cross selection of merchandise from standard, to designer (depends on donation volume). Donation drop off door is in the rear laneway. Metered street parking is available, as well as some residential street parking. #letsguide #covid

This is my one of favourite thrift store. A huge space of delight shopping.
They accept for cash, debit and credit cards as well. There are thousands of clothings and shoes. Sports gears, vintage LP, books, many of painting frames, even more.so good to get brand new stuffs as well! Friendly staffs and keep distance most of customers.

If your patient enough to work through what's amassed at this location, you'd be hard pressed leaving without making a purchase.

There's so much selection and it has a small amount brand new clothes. So many women's shoes and purses.

There isn't a large selection of men's shoes and i didn't find 12+ sizes but what is available is serviceable.

I bought a down vest for $15. Lots of other vests. Sweaters from every era.

They have China, some brand name stuff, plates, glasses, water bottles, artwork and books.

Big store with high ceilings. Comfortable place to shop and find treasures.

Great thrift store for your day to day needs and to find something special. Truly a great store to find a gem that you have been looking for.

As for thrifts shops go, this one is a bit on the "lucky" side, where it's really rare to find a good deal/item. I've found that Value village still has better selections. Other than that customer service is just the same.

Friendly and fast staff. Everyone had on masks. The floor arrows could have been placed a bit better.
21 November 2020 13:18
Excellent staff and service. No complaints, lovely to store to pass time in when I am in the neighbourhood.

If you like digging through funny things, some super tacky, some super lovely, lots super weird, this is the place! Stock changes constantly. I believe some of the staff volunteer to work for the SA

I havent been able to come in to shop yet, so I just called now to ask about their hours for today since it's a civic holiday. The asian lady that picked up answered abruptly with no introduction. I inquired about todays hours and she said " No. Tomorrow okay? " I replied "okay" and she hung up without another word. Unfortunately it's just bad customer service. That's disappointing.

Great staff. Excellent shelves & merchandise, patient customers and good order & safety in place.
05 September 2020 10:10
Very high priced for a second hand store. Boys 6yrs to 8 yrs bike was $119.49. In poor to ok shape. Higher prices than value village.

Such unfriendly staff. I called to ask a question, the person answered very fast and hung up the phone immediately.
26 June 2020 21:35
Used to be the best thrift store in town.

I now find that I avoid going and bringing donations as the staff is VERY rude.

I understand there can be a cultural and language barrier but the staff there seem very unhappy and the older Asian lady is incredibly rude.

If you take a look at these reviews, you can see the attitude as the 'owner' only replies to the good reviews and does nothing to mediate the poor ones.

Guess this is the new Canada.

Great selection at this location with the surrounding area it is in and the people they receive donations from. You can always find some hidden gems here.

Its a Super rich neighbourbood and theres nothing but junk compared to other thrift stores. Either kerrisdale has the stingiest residents in the lower mainland or the staff is stealing the good stuff or BOTH!

23 February 2019 23:11
Our typical salvation army store. This location often offer some delightful surprises with its books and dvd selections. I once found the translated full-set version of ZIPANG, one of my favorite Japanese anime for only $2.00! That awesome bargain really made my day =)
