Great store, staff is welcoming and relaxed with high end Japanese denim / leather goods sold here. I purchased Iron Hearts here that other stores in Vancouver did not have in stock. Worth checking out! Excellent experience and hope it stays around for years to come.

TJ went out of his way to hem a pair of jeans for me in less than 10 mins. I’d recommend the shop to anyone looking for high quality items and amazing service.

I came to The Shop to have my denim hemmed. The previous cuff length damaged my denim, but TJ worked around it, discussed his plan, and hemmed them in 15 minutes. The Shop was a lively, well-curated store with an attractive aesthetic. I will budget for some items from The Shop in the near future. Thank you TJ and friends:)

Absolutely love my jacket and cannot wait to see it age and eventually pass it down.the purchasing process was easy and comfortable (most online purchases, especially at this price point can leave you feeling uneasy) Tj is the best and communicates/responds quickly with as much information about his products as possible.these jackets should be something you work towards purchasing and then lived in to pass on or to look back on the life lived in them.

Great shop I couldn’t tell ya how many thousands of dollars I have spent here. Everything is top notch from the owner to the clothes. It’s not cheep but I’m not looking for cheep mass produced clothes so when you come here you know you are getting some of the best. Thanks again!

TJ's knowledge of Japanese denim is encyclopedic. His ability to source the best in leather jackets is unparalleled. And his customer service is impeccable - far beyond what you will find at chain stores, luxury department stores or even Independents.

I went to The Shop for the first time on Saturday looking for shirts from Iron Heart. TJ was super helpful and let me try on everything he had. He had a great knowledge of not only the lines he carried but clothing in general. The Shop has a very well curated collection of denim, leather and high quality shirts and sweaters. I will definitely be returning.

Recently ordered a couple of The Shop's in-house printed items- a tshirt and a hoodie. I received them in Winnipeg today and was absolutely thrilled with the quality, fit, original designs, and the Made in Canada aspects. Further, watching the process on Instagram of TJ printing these items sold me. It is labour intensive and each in-house item is being made by the hands of someone who truly cares. He also answered questions related to fit, included a Thank You card, and is definitely an above board guy. I'm super stoked on the hoodie and t-shirt and am making another order super soon.

Visited Tj's shop to pick up my first Schott jacket. Tj is a super cool dude! Honestly felt more like a friend helping you out instead of a sales associate trying to get you to buy something. I'll be back for my next Schott when the time comes!

I ordered some custom collaboration Wesco boots online. The owner was super friendly and helpful! He made sure to answer my questions about sizing and the currency exchange and kept me updated on the timeline. I just got them a few days ago and I’m in love! I highly recommend supporting this awesome small business. They have such a unique and high quality selection that no matter what you buy, you can’t go wrong.

This gem of a shop is one of the few places in Canada to get the best in QUALITY goods. I’m not talking about LV or Gucci b/c that stuff is over priced trash. I’m talking about Eat Dust, Iron Heart, Dehen, Indigofera- the real quality stuff. If you haven’t heard these names before then I suggest you do some research. This is the stuff that’s worth your hard earned money. The shop owner TJ, knows his stuff and is a super cool dude. He has great taste in clothing and it shows in the pieces that he puts out. His shop is iconic and should be a Canadian staple. Canadians should support their local businesses and The Shop Vancouver deserves your attention.

TJ is an incredibly friendly helpful person, and brings in curates some of the raddest goods from artisans around the world. A must check if you’re into leather, denim, or workwear and moto inspired clothing! Or just a good chat!

Fantastic shop. I went there looking for my first serious leather jacket, in particular a Schott. The owner was extremely helpful, he even let me try on his broken-in jacket to feel how the leather will soften and drape on your body. He was more then happy to go into the back and grab multiple different jackets and styles for me to try. He helped find the right jacket for me Vs just trying to sell me something. Walked out with a really nice 641hh. I live in Alberta although the next time I'm in Vancouver I'll definitely be returning.
