The Solace Centre

Jane is a compassionate kundalini instructor and incredible guide. She has walked me through this beautiful process with grace. I almost don't want to write this post because I'd like to keep her a secret, but, alas, the world needs more Jane.

I have been going to Lynne for about 8 years and consider her hands gifted, knowing the sources of pain even before I do. The clinic itself is very peaceful and entered thru a beautiful garden that together with Lynne's calming and caring energy are very conductive to healing. Very much a Solace Centre.

I have been going to solace for a long time now, and tried all the services offered. I found the staff and environment peaceful and serene, with a high level of professionalism. I would highly recommend.

I had an amazing massage with Nabila this afternoon and can recommend both she and the studio very highly.

Lynne has created such an amazing oasis for massage, yoga and other therapeutic services in her gorgeous new location on Front Street. The ambience is lush -the lighting, the artwork, the music (even the plants have their own music!) all contribute to a soothing and tranquil atmosphere.
We have been receiving massages from her for years and she is exceptional. And now she has created a space for all the other practitioners to blossom.it feels like a sanctuary.

Had my first ever massage and I left feeling like a new woman. My back has literally never felt so great! I didn’t even realize how much pain I live with day-to-day until I felt so much instant relief after my massage. Seriously game changing! A beautiful centre, and Kati did a fantastic job. 10/10 recommend.

The place is rightly named. It brings you solace. The rooms have faint but positive lighting, lovely mild music and simple yet welcoming interiors to stimulate the mind. The staff is always so courteous and well behaved that one doesn’t feel out of place. I was given my massage by Brittany this time, who was very understanding and made me feel comfortable by asking about my choices first. The next one hour just flew by. I was totally relaxed and rejuvenated. I went back to work after the massage and experienced better productivity at the workplace. I would totally recommend the Solace Centre to friends and family.

Solace is a beautiful oasis; a centre for healing, both visually and physically! Lynne and the other practitioners create a spa-like atmosphere and provide top-notch RMT treatments. Yoga classes are now resuming as well and I look forward to attending soon!

I was called in from the waitlist for a 60-minute massage. Terri was friendly, welcoming, and professional. She really took the time to understand my physical issues, and did amazing work. The gifting of the bath salts at the end was a lovely touch! The space itself is absolutely gorgeous.

Edit: Lynne got in touch with me to take ownership of the issue detailed below, and worked very hard to ensure I was able to be booked into a replacement appointment in an extremely reasonable timeframe. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome, and now that I know changing appointment times without client confirmation isn't the norm, I'm more than happy to give another chance.:)

I booked an appointment with a new RMT, Rick, about 2 months in advance - no problem, massage is in demand, I just picked a time that would work for me. 2 days before my appointment, I received notification that they'd unilaterally decided to change my appointment, and here was my new time.which no longer worked for me. I had to cancel the appointment I had waited 2 months for, and when I looked at rebooking, it would have been another months wait.

In my opinion, appointment changes should be made with a phonecall to ensure that your client has a say in what works for them, and rebooking can be made within a reasonable timeframe.

Nebilah’s massages are perhaps a little more subtle or not typical for what you might expect from an RMT, but they have been extremely helpful in calming my nervous system and releasing tension. Solace has an incredible atmosphere – very peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing. A great place to visit for yoga, acupuncture, or massage!

First, I appreciate the calming energy in Solace's wonderful environment. Second, my treatment with Nebilah was outstanding. Her hands work gentle, intuitive and with a nice rhythm and appropriate pressure. I've been going to the Solace Center for over a year and it's excellent. Treatments are on time and last accordingly. The staff all seem very nice and the business is clean. All covid policies are present while still allowing a relaxing experience. I hope to continue treatments her for years to come.

Lynne has the ability & focus to tune into my needs, & provide in-depth releases of my tension patterns. Her compassion & TLC are something I can always count on!

What is not to love about this place! From the moment you walk in the door the space is so relaxing. Everyone here is exceptionally good at what they do. Professional, friendly and caring. I bring my entire family here. I can't recommend them more highly.

My experience of solace wasn't just with terri and her very professional and knowledgeable self as practitioner and massage therapist, but also with the owner of the studio.please forgive me, i have forgotten her name.she was hospitable and helpful when i inquired about possibilities for giving a talk at the studio.i highly recommend terri and solace centre.

I have had the extreme pleasure of being treated but Terri over the last 2 years. She is a soft and sweet soul and that shows in the way that she treats. She has a the gift of healing hands and has helped me work through many things in this time. She holds such a beautiful space to heal and she makes you feel so welcome and heard. Solace wellness is a wonderful clinic to go to, such a nice space and everyone there is so wonderful, just like Terri!

Had an absolutely fantastic experience here. My first visit with Madeleine and she really helped a lot of pain I've been having, I felt great the next day and she also gave me a ton of suggestions to help manage pain and strengthen my body in a regular basis. The Solace centre is a very welcoming and calm atmosphere I felt at ease right away. Very thankful to have found this place!

This business does not answer its phone. I have been calling everyday for a week several times a day. Left a voicemail and no one returned my call. Very unprofessional. I have a physical disability and this office location was near my residence so it was my first choice.
