They might be fine for other services but I would definitely not recommend going here for a pedicure. They don’t have a proper space set up for it. You sit on a hard bench, and they don’t even have foot tubs or stools. She ended up balancing one bowl on top of another for soaking, and then to have the polish done she emptied the water and turned the bowl upside down as a “stool” so there was a tiny spot to balance my foot on. I couldn’t put any weight down on my foot or the bowl would slide, so by the end I was extremely uncomfortable.

When the front desk was ringing me through, she asked how it was and I was honest – that the pedicure looked good, but the seating was so awkward and uncomfortable that I had a lot of back and leg pain, and the girl said to me “We hear that a lot. We really need to do something about that. “

If they know the facilities are so lacking for pedicures, they should not be offering them.

A very strange and slow experience. I went in with my daughter and despite being empty and having 4 staff on they were not able to accommodate gel polish or repairing one broken nail. I had a pedi. The seating is very uncomfortable, low tech and expensive! We cancelled in the middle and went back to our regular place. Nail Sense, who got us in right away and fixed us up.

I treated my granddaughter to a kiddie manicure. Alex went above and beyond to make it special for her.

Brought my 7-year old here for a kids’ mani-pedi. The aesthetician and the assistant manager were the best! Thanks for being so attentive to my daughter and making her feel like the centre of the world.

Love my manicure. Both Jennifer at the front desk and my nail technician Alex were wonderful.

Alex gave me the very best extensions and nail art that I’ve ever had and I’ve been having my nails done for many many years. She wasn’t in a rush, explained all the steps and she didn’t hurt me.

I hate to leave a bad review since I got an amazing manicure here, but the pedicure (by a different technician) was the worst I’ve had in my life. She must have spent 2 minutes on the cleanup job of my cuticles, and the polish job was beyond sloppy - I could have done a much better job myself. To make it worse, I had to tip them both the same on a single bill at the end, and when I expressed dissatisfaction with both the pedicure and the tipping, my concern was met with indifference. Such a disappointment as I’ve been to other 10 Spots and had such a different experience.

My nails look phenomemal, thank you so much to kim & camy for helping me find some calm during a hectic week!

Jen, the assistant manager, was great coordinating my appointment when there was a small issue with my membership, and Alex gave me a great pedicure. Bright and clean location with reasonable prices.

I had a lovely gel manicure with ee katie, very kind and gentle and my nails look amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely love it here! It’s so clean and open and the staff are lovely. I always feel refreshed and well taken care of by anyone on the team to the girls at the front desk to anyone doing my service! Even got colour tips for my polish before a big day by one of them and it was perfect!

Honestly if you respect yourself, DO NOT work here. Poorly managed, they don’t treat their employees with kindness & don’t expect to get more than minimum wage. They go through employees faster than you can go through a McDonald’s drive thru:)

I've had great experiences at The Ten Spot! They're friendly, welcoming and professional.

But I will never want that 1 manicurist to touch my nails ever again. She showed very poor technique and very low standards to let me walk out of there with a manicure that looked like a 9 year old did it. (Regret tipping her so much) I will not name her as I addressed the issue with management and was immediately booked to have them re-done beautifully by another manicurist.

Super friendly. Super clean. Neelam and Alex go above and beyond with their skill and friendly service. I would highly recommend it.:)

The nail tech was lovely, however I found the overall experience to be underrated. For the price, I would have expected a more fulsome experience.

I really wanted to love my experience. I absolutely love pedicures, they relax me so much. So when my partner surprised me with a visit was super excited. Sadly, your seats are so high up i spent the whole time struggling, trying to prop myself up so I wasn't sliding off into the bucket. Because of that I couldn't relax at all. The pedicure was ok, I can honestly do better myself! My nails weren't trimmed very even and in the end when the girl tried to put my flip flop on it smudge the big toe, she hurriedly fixed it with polish but she didn't redo the top coat and it pretty much looked like it had been smeared and my partner even noticed it when he went to check out how they looked after. It was my first experience and honestly my last. Super disappointed. I will stick with my other go to places.

I've had two manicures from Mariah and they have both been fabulous! The service was relaxing and peaceful and my nails are perfect. I decided to purchase a membership because I've enjoyed the experience so much. The location is beautiful, clean and cheery too.

Very professional and friendly. I had my eyebrows threaded and tinted. I feel pre- pandemic amazing. Everyone from the front desk to the artists, were welcomed me and made me feel very comfortable.

The girl was lovely but its by far the worst pedicure I've ever had. Less then a week later I'm getting another one somewhere else.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Melissa did my waxing and it was gentle, I hardly felt a thing. My manicure looks great, too. Thank you:)

Took my mom here for mothers day and we both loved it! The staff were so kind, funny and thoughtful. Such a lovely afternoon and we both felt so pampered. They ran a little bit late and even offered me a discount for the inconvenience, which I thought was a nice touch.

My second pedicure at The Ten Spot and it was amazing again. They take every measure to make you feel safe while providing a friendly and professional service. Both my services were with Ivy and she is a pro. It's obvious that she loves what she does and that she wants to deliver the best experience to her clients.and my feet, heels, toes, and nails thank her! I also picked up their signature body wash and it is yummy. I can't wait for my next visit and am looking forward to trying other services offered.

The basic polish pedicure did the trick. There could be a larger foot filing tool to get more callus off, but for the value of the service overall it is a good value. The environment is open, clean, fresh, and the two ladies we had were professional, but also fun and personable. I will be back!

I booked an appointment for a waxing service online, which was very easy and straightforward. The woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I saw Ivy for my service and she was phenomenal - very pleasant, easy conversation, and did a great job. My appointment with Ivy did take a little longer than normal; I did get a brazilly wax and it is something she is just starting to do more of again (which I learned through our conversation) BUT it was by the far the most gentle and easy wax I've ever had anyone do, which to me, far outweighs a few extra minutes.

This was my first visit to The Ten Spot, I was warmly welcomed, got started on time, Ivy did a great job. A friendly, positive atmosphere - Covid protocols were adhered too. I'm looking forward to going back. Thanks Ivy, Jamie and Molly!

I took my two young girls for manicures together! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, the aestheticians did a wonderful job on all our hands and nails. I love that they offer both kids manicures and pedicures!
The tools and shop were all nice and clean!
Will definitely go back. And look forward to additional future services!

The entire team was professional and fun! One of the best waxes I’ve ever had, and both mine and my husbands pedicures were done efficiently and with care. The staff was so fun to visit with, a very clean and modern environment, it really felt like I was on vacation. Very great color selection, carried OPI gels. I will be back for sure, it’s a much needed business in Victoria to close the gap between budget nail salons and overpriced spas.
