I loved the club, it has a very good design, the people who serve are very friendly and everything is very accessible

Hands down the ultimate fishing and culinary experience period. The guides were on point every day aswell as the fishing, but the best part was the absolutely beautiful clubhouse and the attention to every last detail. If you ever get the chance to experience the clubhouse I consider you extremely lucky ;)

The West Coast Fishing Club is a first-class operation with attentive staff, excellent food and accommodation AND you get to fish in a beautiful setting with experienced guides. I have been fortunate to attend the Clubhouse many times and this year the experience was excellent as usual. WCFC followed all the mandated government COVID-19 regulations to ensure our safety and those of the Haida Nation. Rather than fly in from Masset, our flight was direct from Prince Rupert to the lodge (which has no road access and is not anywhere near to any Haida community) so it was unfortunate that they were shut down part way through the season. Another excellent experience. Thank-you!

I have been coming to this lodge for more than 20 years. It feels like home the minute I step off the helicopter. The accommodations are lovely and the food is always great. I am amazed at the high quality staff they assemble with mostly familiar faces from year to year. Of course I would be remiss if I didn’t single out the guides - so professional and friendly. They know the waters and where to go depending on the tides the weather and the species of fish you are targeting. I never get tired of the eagles and whales that I see. The boats are comfortable and I appreciate the smooth ride they provide. The fish are plentiful with many productive areas to fish within a 10 minute run. It never gets old collecting that Tyee pin at the end of the trip either. Looking forward to my two trips next season.

I have been fishing at The West Coast Fishing Club for more than 25 years. I recall fishing and seeing Owner Rick Grange at the lodge when you returned after amazing fishing to greet you with a smile from ear to ear! The WCFC is as close as you can get to a 5-Star Lodge on the water along with the most amazing accommodations, cuisine and the best equipment available. There is nothing that comes close to comparing this place which has the friendliest employees and best fishing available!

West Coast fishing club is the best club that I have been to, I have tried 3 different lodges and if they were all great WCFC was by far the best.once you arrive at the Vancouver private terminal you let them take care of you and you will have the time of your life in a luxury environment. Food, wines, staff and fishing was out of this world. Did not go this year because of COVID19.

I have been fishing with West Coast Fishing Club, up at Langara Island for the last 11 years. Their operation and their guides make it a pleasure to fish some of the best Pacific salmon waters in the world.

My son and I (and occasionally my wife) have been exclusively using WCFC yearly for 7 years. We had booked a trip this year but, obviously, , could not make it this year. Super disappointed, but will be back in 2021. We have mostly self guided, but have, on occasion, used guides. Without reservation, I can testify that they are a first class organization from the chiefs, to deck personnel. Everyone has a smile on their face and are always ready to accommodate. Meals are 5 stars. AND, the fishing has kept up coming back each year. So far, we have been able to bring back our limits. It is such a magical combination, we are already to be there and cannot wait for our July trip! Thanks WCFC

The West Coast Fishing Club never ceases to amaze. I have been fishing with WCFC for the last 20 years and the experience continues to exceed my expectations each time I visit. The staff go to all lengths to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need whether you're in the lodge or out on the water. I highly recommend this experience for seasoned fishermen as well as newcomers to the sport. I always fish in June and have great luck on the water! Lots of action that you will find nowhere else in B. C.

I have to mention the food as well, it's amazing how you can be so far from civilization and still be treated to 5-star dining at each meal. Can't wait until my next trip!

Absolutely fantastic lodge and fantastic experience in 2019 when I went to the Outpost. I have been to numerous lodges along the west coast of BC and Haida Gwaii in particular and the experience with the West Coast Fishing Club is fantastic.

We wanted to write a review on this 5* experience we had at the West Coast Fishing Club at the end of July! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip from start to finish. The accommodations, food, staff and fishing were just outstanding! Special mention goes to the dining staff and our guide Tucker. We also appreciated all the extra measures and protocols they put in place for Covid that kept us completely safe. We were never put in contact with anyone outside the fishing trip and were only on Langara Island which is a seperate island above the main island. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Our many years have enjoyed first class service from the people involved in operating their lodges, would recommend the experience for everyone who wants to see a very unique part of Canada!

I’ve been going to the WFC lodges for 20 years and disappointingly missed in 2020. Amenities, fishing, accommodations, and guides (especially DJ and Jason) are unequaled and excellent. I fully expect to book to for 2021. Would not consider elsewhere for a summer getaway!

I have been to the West Coast Fishing Club more than a dozen times over the past 20 years. Each and every time has been an outstanding experience, from the moment you check in at the South Terminal of YVR. The lodge staff welcomes you upon arrival and makes a point of quickly learning and addressing you by name. The guides are experienced and friendly. The boats are top quality. Oh, and the fishing, wildlife, and scenery are outstanding. You'll never have a better wilderness experience than visiting the West Coast Fishing Club.

I have fished with WCFC many years. I have also fished with “others”. Fishing is fishing, but The West Coast Fishing Club is an experience you and your loved ones or buddies will talk about forever. The setting, wildlife, food, service are 5 star. Go once, bring back friends once you see how incredible it is.

I have been going to the Westcoast Fishing club for many years. Without question it is the most spectacular fishing experience in BC and I have no doubt one of the best in the world. The staff are outstanding and professional, the guides knowledgeable and easy to fish with and the food and wine experience fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the place. My husband, son, and myself have had the privilege of staying at one of the best fishing lodges on the BC West Coast. The Clubhouse on Langara Island is an excellent 5 star hotel lodge. We’ve tried many fishing lodges when we first started fishing on the coast. The Clubhouse quickly became our favourite as we really enjoyed our stay there. And that was over 20 years and 30 trips. The accommodations, food, service and staff are the best we have ever experienced.
If you want to stay at one of the most beautiful, well run fishing lodges on BC’s west coast, then go to The Clubhouse, operated by West Coast fishing club, it is outstanding!

One of the most fantastic fishing experiences I have had. I having been going on one to two trips for the past decade and had developed developed great relationships with the general managers, guides (many I have fished with elsewhere over the past 20 years), sales staff, etc. You are treated very specially by all. The accommodations are excellent, the food wonderful and the experience something to treasure. I look forward to my trips every year. A true Five Star experience.

I have fished at The West Coast Fishing Club for more than 25 years. I believe it is the best salmon fishing lodge in the world. It starts at the top with the staff that helps you with your reservations and details that make your trip run smoothly. The logistics that get you there and back with your fish properly handled are fantastic. The lodge itself is like staying in a four star hotel. Food is over the top with great chefs and staff that handles your every need. The guides they have brought together are most talented I have ever fished with. The center console fleet of Boston Whalers are very easy to fish out of and are very comfortable. Missing my 3 annual trips last year was very hard to take. It wasn’t just missing fishing but not seeing all the friends I have met over the years. I can’t wait to hug the staff greeter when I arrive next year.
