The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

We always stay at Westin at Whistler throughout the year.

Whistler is one of the most popular touristic spots in Canada and one of the biggest ski resorts in the world. That means businesses here often have a lot of seasonal workers from overseas who just work here for one season or two. They might not know well how Marriot runs and the status of memberships works. As a result, services could be a hit-and-miss sometimes. We had been not treated properly according to our membership status. We have seen a young worker at the front desk saying, “I have no idea. ” when guests came and asked about where the parking was. However, we had also local experienced staff gone way beyond to look for our lost items from our previous stay. That being said, I don't think it is a problem limited to this hotel, but a phenomenon at Whistler.

Rooms are often clean. Breakfast are always good.

You cannot out your skis in the room. At times, the line to pick up the skis in the morning could be long.

Excellent common area. Sometimes they give hot chocolate in the late afternoon in the ski season.

Perfect location to the ski chair to blackcomb and gondola to Whistler.

Westin Whistler will remain as our only choice in Whistler.

Excellent quiet location and efficient check in service. Unexpected upgrade to a suite on top floor with great mountain views.

Living area was spacious with a safe. Only and major downer was the bedroom which was a little small and claustrophobic with a bed suffering too much sag as with older hotels.

Renew the beds and for sure recommended.

Great hotel, nicely appointed rooms, love that it's walking distance from so many food options, cafes and attractions.

Wonderful property at the city center. Rooms are a bit dated but location makes up for it!

We had an amazing time here with my family of 5. I attended a convention that went smoothly and had great food from the Westin. Our 2 bedroom accommodations were the right size, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Having the kitchen was a bonus, as well as hot showers and comfortable beds!

Everything you would expect from a Westin.very good quality, clean and friendly staff. I gave 4 stars because they make it complex to use the WI-FI. You have to be member of their club for free access but it's still doesn't work. Go at the front desk to set up your account.i mean just give us free access without having to create an account like they do in all hotels.

Room nice. The fireplace is a great touch if cold. Hot tub was a plus. Ask the front desk for slippers.

Our family of 4 had a really great stay at the Westin Whistler. Rooms are really clean and modern. Location can't be beat. And a special Thank You to the managers Michael and Jessica for addressing our issue right away which made our stay a memorable one. I give another 5 stars for their prompt response. Westin Whistler is always our # 1 spot for staying in whistler.

Staff were absolutely incredible. Every staff member made sure we were properly taken care of. Such an amazing experience and I'd love to go back again.

From checking in to checking out, the process was incredibly easy. The hot tub and pool was extremely relaxing. Best of all, the front desk agents and concierge went above and beyond for us. They even upgraded our room because of some noise we heard in our room! Thank you all. Will definitely book with the Westin again!

Bathroom not clean, upon arriving I was told that parking is included since we got deluxe room and 4 nights. But at checkout there is a charge of 142 dollars for parking. Lady at reception explained me that parking is owned by "third party ". Just h

Facilities in room: we got most thing we need: microwave / fridge/ oven / utensils/ pot / necessary kitchen stuffs—you can have small kitchen there.

This Hotel is one of the best ones in Whistler. So clean, kind and polite staffs and good access to Whistler village. Had a very good experience visiting Whistler at this hotel.

This hotel location is perfect minutes from see to Sky Hwy, village Gondola and cross the Golf Club and walking distance to many other attractions Clean roomy and friendly staff.

Great stay - only stayed for a single night coming from the Delta earlier. This property is definitely nicer if you want to hit up the gondola and driving range easily.

Fitness facility and pool are great although very family oriented, the pool was pretty loud. Gym had pretty good equipment including a smith machine and leg press, and a cable machine.

Every business is only as good as it’s staff. From the second I pulled up the staff out front helped right away parked my truck right out front cause it’s over height. They offered to take luggage right away. Room service was flawless. Every time I walked through the lobby they greeted me with my name. Very clean hotel with top notch facilities. As I said it starts with the first impression and those Australian front door men have it down to a fine art. Well done I will definitely stay there again

They upgraded our room on arrival and gave us a great view of the village and mountains, very nice rooms but we weren't there all that much. Friendly staff.

Stayed for a week. Service was excellent. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Andrew Misquitta was very helpful throughout our stay. Would happily stay here again

We are staying in a studio unit with a kitchenette. The kitchen utensils were dirty with stains on it. There is loud music playing till late outside the hotel. The air con is barely functioning. We started at 24.6 deg in the room and after 1.5 hr of max air con the room temp went to 24.1deg. And they claim they offer shuttle service but so understaffed that it is basically non existent. You have to take multiple elevators just to get to your room. And the stairs are blocked of due to work in progress but there is literally no one working on it.
I am giving it a 2 stars because the beds are at least comfy. Hotels with similar pricing nearly are far superior that this.

Been in the lobby for 25 minutes, one person at the front desk, lineup out the door. Horrible way to start our vacation.

The best hotel I have ever stayed in! I can't recommend The Westin in Whistler enough! When you walk around the village in Whistler, you can even see that The Westin looks like the best hotel in the village. It could be because of covid, they had vacancy, but they gave us a free room upgrade on our arrival. It had an amazing view of the village and the mountains. (We were on the 8th floor) Not to mention, it's right at the entrance to the gondola. Next time I come to Whistler, I'll be staying at The Westin for sure!

Great hotel, perfect service, everything we needed they had and offered. They upgraded our room for a complimentary and they were super friendly. Clean resort with lots of activities.

I had to cancel my reservation due to travel restrictions. I tried to change the reservation through Expedia for over a week with no success (lines always busy, no call backs, etc). Fortunately, the hotel staff were able to get ahold of Expedia for me to cancel the reservation without a penalty.

While I didn’t have a chance to actually stay at the hotel, I received 5 star service from the hotel staff. They were courteous and understanding of my situation.

I will definitely book with them again once restrictions ease. Thank you especially to Andrew in the reservations department!

Wow! What an amazing hotel! Service could not be any better! Clean! Safety a priority! Accommodating and flexible! Comfortable beds/room AND to add to all this, right in the heart of the village, beside the gondola. Nice lounge, restaurants, shops inside! Great family getaway. Highly recommend it!
