I really enjoyed my experience at WP. The appointment was totally unrushed and calm, and they have beautiful dresses. Theresa was awesome and made me feel very at ease. There was zero pressure to make a purchase and no predatory sales tactics at all. A great, classy shop with beautiful stuff!

Lovely store with a large variety of gorgeous dresses. The podium area was private and cozy with great lighting. The stylist was incredibly pleasant and made our experience enjoyable. Overall, would highly recommend to anyone!

I had a wonderful experience shopping for and purchasing my wedding dress from Trish at the White Peony! As a plus size bride I was nervous about trying on dresses, but the White Peony Carrie’s samples in such a variety of sizes, with zero judgement, that it felt like a wonderfully inclusive experience. The brands they carry are so beautiful and it felt like such a more special experience than the other shop in town I went to. Carrying women owned made in Canada brands was a huge plus for me. The dress was perfect and the service I received was flawless.

Shopping for your wedding dress at The White Peony is the dream experience. Amanda and Trish are incredible, personable and tailor the experience to make every bride feel special. The conditions of the samples, and range of sizes they have are the best you'll find in the city and the dresses that they bring in are stunning. They do not pressure you at all and when I said "Yes" to the dress, they poured my mom, sister and I bubbly and let us enjoy the moment. Truly the loveliest people and the loveliest shop.

This was my first stop in my dress journey and what what a great way to pop my cherry. The store was intimate and charming and my consultant was lovely. There was no pressure to buy, instead I was encouraged to explore at my pace and take the time I need to choose a dress that's right for me. I cannot say enough amazing things about The White Peony. Throughout every single step of my experience Trish went above and beyond for me. Her communication and responses to my many questions were very timely, detailed, and most importantly warm. Being a bride from out of town meant unexpected challenges, specifically tailoring, all in which Trish handled with ease. She recommended and arranged my tailoring appointments for me, then even brought my dress and veil to the seamstress on my behalf ahead of time (because The White Peony was closed the only day I could come into town), so all I had to do was show up at the tailor! I felt so welcome and comfortable in the shop, and all my interactions with the staff have been so extremely positive. Trish remembered so many little details and I feel like such a valued customer. I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding dress experience and overall it was without a doubt one of the best interactions I’ve had with a vendor throughout my whole wedding planning process.

The shop is beautiful, clean, the dresses are not crowded and in great condition. I had an appointment in December and it was my most memorable bridal shop experience (of many). While I didn’t find “the” dress, I fell in love with the local designer Truvelle, and found a dress from them on Marketplace. Trish was incredibly attentive and accommodating. You will literally feel like royalty in this shop!

Such a great shop! We went here for my first round of dress shopping and I’m so glad, the staff were so nice and helpful and they made sure the experience was fun and not at all overwhelming.

I have so much love for this bridal shop! I had previously gone shopping to a few other bridal boutiques in Victoria and The White Peony really stands out! Not only is the boutique stunning but the selection of gowns in beautifully and thoughtfully curated, catered for brides looking for gowns that are both modern and timeless. Trish really look the time to understand my bridal vision but also encouraged me to slow down and enjoy the process of trying dresses on, in a variety of styles and silhouettes. She made the whole experience for my mom and I an unforgettable day. I found my dress when I knew I didn't want to take it off. She asked if I saw myself marrying my husband in it.and it was in that moment that I knew I'd found my gown. Even after I had purchased my dress, they were so helpful - recommending vendors, helping with alterations, and even sneaking me in last minute to find a veil. It was such a privilege to have found my dress here! Without a doubt, brides to be should make an appointment at The White Peony.

I did not buy my wedding dress there but I got my vail there The lady is very professional and so sweet and so welcomeing my aunt made an appointment for me to try on my dress and vail she made me feel like she really cared about me and how I felt I am excited to go back and get a few things my experiences was amazing I am.so glad I get to have it as a memory thank you so much!
