The Wooden Spoon Bistro

Yum! This place has been on my bucket list for years and didn’t disappoint. The bruschetta toast (topped with egg) was delicious and good kids options. Wish I was here longer to try more!

As usual the spoon is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Amazing service and staff always friendly and helpful.

So sad. We arrange every trip through Grand Forks to include breakfast or lunch at Wooden Spoon because it usually amazing. Not so much today. No smiles from the staff. No coffee made. Waited 1/2 hour for our meal while watching the large table behind us get their meal. Watched our food sit for 10 minutes under the heat lamp while the staff played with each other's hair. Eggs over cooked and hashbrowns burnt. Asking for a clean spoon seemed like a burden. What happened Wooden Spoon you used to be so wonderful?

They suggested the bahni and the Tuscany sandwich, which were super good! Loved it! Staff was awesome!

We stopped for a coffee after asking a local for their recommendation. Our coffees and food were fresh and delicious and the hash browns were so good! I’d suggest stopping in for breakfast or lunch. The menus for both offered a lot of delicious sounding choices. We will definitely make a point to stop here again.

Good food, however service is poor. Waited 45 minutes for a "sandwich". Checked 2'ce with personnel, " just a few minutes". Still waited another 15 minutes.
Plus very noisy, need some sound muffins furniture.

Hands down thee best Banh Mi sandwich I have ever tasted! I also always take away baked goods and iced coffee on my way out. Awesome service! Great atmosphere, #1 and only choice in town. Love stopping here when we travel thru Grand Forks

The food was amazing! Best restaurant food I've had in a long time! But little confusing when you go in. It's a place where you order and pay first,

Waited over half an hour for a sandwich. If the kitchen is that backed up, you should be telling patrons before they order. The Banh Mi sandwich was good once I finally received it.

Stopped in on a Monday in July around 2pm. The place was hopping. I hadn’t even panned to order food but seeing the menu was enticed to order a Cubano. As I waited for my take out order I watched the plates being carted to the dining room. Every single one looked amazing! I quickly realized I was part of an unexpected rush. The front of house staff were running but nailing it! The kitchen appeared to be running like a well oiled machine. When my sandwich arrived it blew my expectations out out the water! Outstanding! Thank you to all of the great staff and congratulations on a job well done!

Food was very very good, lovely combination of flavors! Great service, lovely little spot!

The food was very tasty, they have a variety of food vegan, soups, burgers, bowls and dessert.

We had a delicious breakfast here with menu items to suit picky kids and veggie-craving adults. The Bruschetta Toast was to die for.
