Perfect date night. Dinner and live theater right in the heart of downtown langley.
Good atmosphere and front of house staff.
I've never been disappointed in dinner or the acting.
Community theater at its best.

Absolutely amazing first time experience. Saw shawshank today on the last day! Loved every last second! Can't wait to come back!

Didn't attend the dinner. Only the theatre. The play was amazing. We saw a great performance of Shawshank Redemption. Put on by a community theatre the acting was top notch by all players the set design was very creative for a local community theatre. The theatre itself was good. Although our seating was not the most comfortable. I would definitely see another play at this theatre.

It was our first time at this particular theatre and boy were we impressed!
We went to see Shawshank Redemption, the set was sooooo well done, the acting was just fantastic and the staff were so friendly and welcoming.
We didn't do the dinner because we weren't sure about vegan options but were told there are some good vegan choices so we might give that a go next time.
We will absolutely be back for more plays though regardless!

I saw the Sound of Music here. The theatre was very comfortable, clean, enjoyable, and accessible.

Went for The Sound of Music. Great show! Lots of talent. First time at Theatre in the Country and we really had a good evening. Everyone working there was also very friendly and welcoming.

Food:
Dinner was buffet style with a number of nice options. It was delicious, but could be more on top of filling up the containers. There were several items that were empty when it was my turn at those stations and were only refilled once I had already passed them. There is coffee, tea, punch and water available at all times. Dessert of squares was served during the 20 minute intermission.

The Performance:
The sound of the performance seemed quiet at times and it was sometimes difficult to hear the actors clearly when they spoke. I also could hear the scuffling of their feet during the choreography louder than the music so that was slightly distracting. The actors were all wonderful and talented. I’m in awe of all their singing.

The Venue:
Open space with high ceilings. Intimate atmosphere. The front 3rd of the seating area is set up with tables and chairs for those enjoying the dinner with the show and the back third is set up with chairs for those just going for the show. It looked like all seats had good views of the stage.

What a fantastic dinner and show! The Sound of Music performance was excellent! All their voices were amazing! Will definitely attend another future show!

When I booked my tickets online, I booked the wrong night. So when I showed up to a sold out show, on closing night, having tickets that were actually for the night before, they were so understanding and literally added us seats so we could still watch the show!

They in no way were obligated to do that as it was completely my error, and I was blown away by the service and how welcome they made us! Every show I’ve been to by them has just been a great night of theatre, run by awesome people! They have created a great community and I am always so happy to attend their shows.

10/10 community theatre!

Excellent show The Sound Of Music and food. Took my wife, daughter and grandson 6 years old and he was totally captivated by the performance. We were the only grandparents there with a little one. Should be more

Great venue with very friendly staff. The play 'The Sound of Music' was fantastic and a lot of fun. We'll be back and I highly recommend.

This is a fantastic company! Whether working with them on a show or just taking a night off to go experience their dinner theatre it's an awesome experience. I was able to see their opening night of Sound of Music and I got goosebumps from the voices of all the actors. Especially Maria and the kids! They consistently give an incredible show and have for years. I'm excited to see what these Sound of Music actors do next!

Excellent value for the money. The Sound of Music was VERY entertaining. Would definitely attend another production.

Went and saw Mama Mia and it was great. Nice little theatre. So much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside! Would definitely see a show there again!

Another great production attended. This time the performance was of Steel Magnolias. Well acted, great set and not a bad seat in the house.

Amazing food, your typical roast beef/chicken dinner.
Have been coming to shows for the past year and they all have been amazing with so much effort put into them.

Food was quite good. Theatre was.well, what you might expect from dinner theatre. Wear a sweater.

We saw the Play That Goes Wrong and I kind of regret that decision. I think it is probably a good show for families with children 10-14 yrs, but not so great for adults only. The acting was quite good, but the play itself was not very humorous for adults (maybe I would have enjoyed it more as a child). It was kind of like watching some strained improv. I felt bad for the actors having to slog through it. We left after the first act.

This show 'Goes Wrong' for the wrong reasons. For the money, and the expectations of attending TIC 'as a first time visitor, this was a huge disappointment for myself and 2 guests. The venue showed promise but the food was served cold and tasteless. The coffee and tea station provided lukewarm drinks. The acting was below par for the price of the ticket. Comedic timing (critical) was off and audience laughter seemed forced (planted friends or a laugh track?). I suggested we leave at half time but my guests wanted to endure it out. Ironically the host even mentioned that he was surprised most of the audience returned (sic). For a play that has been running in London since 2014, I could only think this cast and production were overwhelmed by the script and demands. Upon leaving a handful of homeless people had taken up encampment around my parked car. Harmless but added to a less than memorable experience at TIC. I will not be returning.

It was a wonderfully scripted play and it had afantastic ambiance that made you feel fancy! The food was mediocre but plentiful. A bit hard to see the stage from the back where I was. 4 stars!

First time attending a dinner theatre here. Very well organized from checking tix, all reserved seating, lining up for buffet dinner, wine and beer sales. The host was entertaining between calling out table numbers for the buffet. The ladies serving at the buffet were quick, courteous. Lots to eat. You could go for seconds. The play was White Christmas. The actors were very talented. Excellent singers and dancers. Dessert plates were brought to our table at intermission. I would definitely go to another play.

We saw a great little murder mystery production. The actors were good and the food was decent.
