Very clean and well designed pastry/chocolate shop surrounded by high end jewelry shops. Nice outdoor patio and friendly staff.

My favourite place to snag a few desserts when I'm in Vancouver. Excellent quality. I've never been disappointed.

I'm starting to question whether some products are homemade.
The quality is not the same anymore.

I love this place! And there’s lacto free cappuccino with cow milk, usually when you asking for lacto free milk they’re have almond milk.

The cakes and pastries were amazing. It took me back to france. Only issue is the macaron, they are tasteless and not very good.

They always have stellar desserts with a wide variety to choose from, but teas selection was very limited (2 very basic black teas and 1 green) which is especially weird considering they SELL much more

The service was great, employees were really nice. Appreciate how they knew the ingredients to differentiate between alcoholic and nonalcoholic food items.

Went just last week, super cute, chill place with outdoor seating. Be sure to have your coffee made by the tall English girl working there, she does it best!

High end all around, quality and skills but their bakeries has gotten a little too sweet for my taste, I feel it got sweeter with time, it used to be perfect.
Last time i couldn't finish the eclair I bought, the sweetness was overwhelming to me

Always terrific! Pain au chocolat and an Americano! Went about 4: 30, room on the patio. Lots of helpful staff, both cleaning and serving.
Don't miss this.

This time we tried four types of dessert, chocolate succe ($7.25) very rich dark chocolate taste, feels guilt free having it as it more cocoa rather than sugar; chocolate marquis ($8.65) very delicious combination of chocolate and a twist of salted caramel; Tiramisu ($8.10) so original taste with the dark chocolate and passion fruit cake ($7.25), very fresh and refreshing taste. The chai latte too was so good just the perfect temperature and less sweetness which I prefer.
Was mesmerized on their cake designs so decided to order their black forest cake ($36) for my birthday and damn it was so good, the cake was moist rich dark chocolate that goes well with the cream and cherry. Worth buying and satisfying the packaging was very neat and well packed too.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting to taste real chocolate dessert, cakes and macaroons.

Made a request for a birthday cake. The person that did the writing maybe manager seemed annoyed but all the workers were very nice and they made sure that it looked perfect! My girlfriend was super happy.

I had placed a special order once over the phone once. Arrived and waited in line for pick-up. Bizarrely, not only was my order not ready, but they had no record of my order. The person just stared at me as if I had 2 heads, not offering to remedy the situation. I had to explicitly ask to speak with the manager. The fellow was not very apologetic at all, and did not offer to compensate me for the hassle in wasting my time. He merely smirked at me while putting my requested items together.

Had also been there 2 times before that. I would not recommend eating there, as it was always +cramped, not terribly clean, and the noise level is loud. All 3 visits - terrible customer service. It is such a shame that the customer service experienced on all occasions was very, very poor. Everything I tried was delicious, including the croissants, cakes and macarons, but quite expensive.

Their macarons are delicious. The passion fruit mousse was amazing. The apple brioche are yummy. All their confections are of high quality. The interior is also classy and cozy. However I do have a problem with the strawberry, pistachio creampuff. I don't appreciate the false advertising of pistachio when they are blatantly using almond flavouring. I'm not a fool to not know the difference between the taste of pistachios and almonds. The creampuff itself was good, aside from the almond flavouring.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. They have handled COVID restrictions remarkably well and I appreciate their making you feel welcome every time. Attention to detail in everything they make and their macaroons are the best!

Table’s were messy for all along but no single workers cleared it until i asked them politely twice.and I even got an answer “literally” saying “it’s not my job and you have to do it yourself (even though it’s the job of clearing someone else’s leftover) but i’ll do it wait a sec” And he never showed up so i asked again for help to other. If there’s Anybody wants to feel ignored and discriminated, I highly recommend to visit. And I feel it kinda racism because i’m asian traveler.

The service and food here is incredible! 10/10 for taste, texture, and appearance. The atmosphere is a fun balance between relaxed and high end which makes the experience a Thierry something truly original. A staple in the Vancouver dessert scene

The place was sort of busy and a lot of tables were dirty. My husband's chocolate was cold. Croissants, green tea, chocolate trio, and the cappuccino were awesome!

Quality has gone down over the years. It's crowded and people tend to come here and study. The napoleon is still my favorite here but their availability of chocolates is lacking. They run out of chocolates fast. Coffee is okay. You can find better coffees in Vancouver. The desserts are still above average but not too long ago they were to die for.

A pretty good dessert/coffee place. I come here quite late usually after having dinner.
Prices is a touch on the expensive side but considering the location, I think it's jusitifed.

Parking could be annoying at times.

Thierry is an upscale dessert shop offering a wide variety of chocolates, cakes, tarts and pastries. Cakes are usually quite good and the apple tart is truly impressive. Unfortunately, almond croissants don't meet the high bar set by the rest of the pastry. The house espresso blend is palatable and goes well with any pastry from the cafe.

Extremely poor customer service. Counter employees never recognized me standing and waiting for service. Nobody asked who was next. I walked out after being passed by for other customers.

They have lost my business.

Worst experience ever, they did not have plain Crossaint or other pastries. Waited in the line for 15 mins. The server was rude. When asked for how long will it take to make it. First was few mins. Then she changed her mind to very long time.

Ordered a Macchiato and a Cappuccino. Both of them tasted weird and burned. Worst coffee I had in my life. Very disappointing given that it is a famous shop.

Such a cute shop with delicious pastries and chocolate! A bit disappointed with the limited selection of macaroons but believe that was due to it being late in the day.

The tiramisu cake and the café moka were delicious. However, employees' attention leaves a lot to be desired. Wait for half an hour for a table. And when I asked an employee for an extra chair, she just said me you have to do it by yourself, but she help another people.

Thierry offers a great selection of cakes and viennoiserie. The place is often busy, and by the midday the best pastries are sold out and it can be hard to get a table, so I recommend to come early. We had a slice of apple tart and almond croissant, both were quite good. The portions are on the bigger side: that slice of apple pie could have been easily cut on half. But then again, it’s quite expensive, so it had to be big. Coffee was good, too, perfect medium roast with slight acidic notes.

Pretty disappointed that we come in at 11: 06pm. They’re packing up, no worries. They do close at midnight. We hurried to make our selection and wanted to eat in. Instead of giving us a civilized plate, they told us to eat out of a box. For such an expensive, higher end bakery ($8.10 for a small slice), customer service is horrible. They’re too lazy to clean plates even though 9 other tables are eating on decent plates. If i didn’t bring a friend here, I would have left and went elsewhere. Don’t bother coming in here after 11pm, you’ll be treated like garbage.

It's one of the best cafes in downtown after 8pm. They always have delicious pastries. This place is usually very crowded, yet they have plenty of tables.

If we’re talking about chocolates and like me you have a sweet tooth, give thierry a try! They are always busy though especially on weekends so expect long line ups and possibly waiting for a table to be vacant!

One of my favorite places for breakfast, lunch or a treat. I go here often. They have THE best desserts! The macarons are always fresh and delicious, the chocolate succe, the passionfruit mousse cake, the chocolate marquise and apple tart are the best! The soups and sandwiches they offer are also great, and you can tell they use great quality ingredients. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting and the staff has always been friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

This is the best place on the planet of earth. I discovered Thierry when I looked up best Tiramisu. And it was. So now I go there every time I have a dinner party and they never let me down. On Thanksgiving they made the best cake for my dinner party. I think the Lemon tart is my favorite. The presentation is amazing. I won't go anywhere else now that I found Thierry.
