First time at this salon. Connor was great. Listened to my ideas and gave some good ones of his own. The result was one of the best cuts I've had in a long time. Highly recommended.

I've been going to Thom's for over a year now. Every appointment with Melanee has been awesome, she is very friendly & professional.

My hair was a mess and I came out with it very artfully done. Jordan did an amazing job. The studio is extremely well designed and decorated, and was right up my minimalism vibe. My new favorite!

Every time I change cities, I end up having horrible hair cut experiences. I always struggle to find someone who understands my hair, someone who does not try to cut it in a standard way. As you might imagine, it is extremely frustrating. But, when I moved to Vancouver, I was lucky enough to find Jordan pretty fast. I will never forget how he listened to me and then, as if he was the hair whisperer, he just observed my hair, he spent a few minutes letting it speak for itself. And that was when all the magic happened. He is extremely skilled as a hair dresser, that is out of the question, but his real magic was to stop, listen, and observe. Nobody in my whole hair cutting life ever did that. He did not know it yet, but he had won me as a permanent client before he even started cutting anything.

I strongly encourage you to visit thom, and specifically Jordan. The space is really nice to be in, and you will really feel taken care of. Worth every penny.:)

Laura developed a personal style for this young fella and put confidence in his walk with a clean cut and a shaping of his look heading out the door. Lots of curls and waves with length just as he likes it; It just looks good now.

Amazing spot. I’ve been looking for a solid place to get my hair cut (I’ve got long hair) for a while now. Finding a place that knows how to cut men’s long hair and cut it well can be tough but this place nailed it. Not only did Jordan do an amazing job cutting my hair but everyone else there was super friendly and attentive. Highly highly recommended! Without a doubt my new spot.

Over the past 3 years, each haircut I've gotten has been at a different barbershop/salon, as I've been working my through the Lower Mainland to find the best barbers.

And thom.has taken the current throne. The establishment is immaculate and has an upscale ambiance to it. The staff are kind and very accommodating.

I walked in and gave my stylist Brett the reigns to do with my hair whatever he wanted - and I was not disappointed. Brett was precise, calculated, and very gentle as he gave me the cut. He then spent considerable time afterward providing styling and products tips - far more than I've received elsewhere.

Been getting cuts from John several times now and I always look forward to seeing him. The cuts are always on point and the fades are always fresh. The attention to detail John puts in with each cut is unparalleled. The atmosphere at the shop is always chill.

Since COVID, they have put in measures to ensure the safety of both customers and barbers, including sufficient distancing, sanitizing of supplies and tools, requirement of masks in the shop as well as a newly renovated washroom that is squeaky clean!

Thom.is a beautiful and welcoming place. Really liked the handsome haircuts I recieved from Janelle and Adam. Will be back!

Having just moved to the neighbourhood and also not had a haircut since the start of COVID, I was looking for a new men's salon to help me figure out what to do with my new, long, pandemic hair. Adam and the team at Thom were great. He gave me great advise on how to style long hair, helped me understand what he planned to do to shape my hair but keep the length, and did an awesome job! I love the haircut and the cost is super reasonable for the quality and attention you receive.

Originally from Belgium, I have always got my hair cut by a hair dresser in a salon. When moving to Vancouver a few years ago, I was surprised by the lack of options when it comes to hair salons for men. Since discovering Thom, Thom has provided me with this salon experience at each visit. Thom is a beautiful minimalist space with a great atmosphere. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to their large selection of hair products available at the salon.

John has been cutting my hair for a couple years now and the guy is just a magician. My hair is difficult to get right which in the past has led to haircuts being a frustrating experience at times. I am happy to say that this is not the case anymore as John has been getting my hair right every time since I have been going to him. The guy is super talented and you can just tell that cutting hair is a true passion of his.

I definitely see myself going to Thom and getting my hair cut by John for as long as I live in Vancouver!

Have gone to see Adam twice now and each time it has been by far the best cut I’ve ever had. I usually need a cut every 3-4 weeks, but Adam’s cuts grow out so even that I’m able to go at least 5 weeks between. Definitely recommend Thom for your next cut.

My experience at Thom has been nothing short of fantastic since my first visit. Not only is the space and ambiance great, but the degree of professionalism is top tier. Having been with John as my stylist for the past 2 years, he is both insightful in his recommendations and meticulous with his technique. He will take the time to understand your wants and will go out of his way to cater to your needs. Thom really puts the client at the center of its business and stylists like John truly contribute to the ethic embodied there.

Been getting my haircut from John B and before that, have never actually left a haircut loving what I had. The genuine focus, care and commitment to giving you exactly what you want whilst having great conversation really makes the whole experience. There’s a level of communication about the cut that I’ve just never received anywhere else. The determination to have you looking clean and fresh is what will bring you back. The other staff I’ve encountered are all very friendly which contributes to the zen environment. And not mention, GOOD COFFEE that’s complimentary. Would HIGHLY recommend seeing John. Every aspect of the experience has been meticulously designed; the minimal interiors, the essential oil aroma, the chair and mirror where your hair is cut, the friendly service and finally, a perfect haircut. The only disadvantage is that once you go there, you're not going to want to go any other barber shop.
