Came to this place by serendipity.
My portable hard drive started acting up and I was in panic mode! I searched online and this place came up with good reviews so I decided to give it a try. The owner identified the problems within minutes and proposed a solution to quickly transfer the data out. The whole process took less than 10min and I couldn't be happier with the outcome service was fantastic and place is really neat and clean d professional looking. I would highly recommend this place.

Russell arrived at 3: 30 pm for the home visit, right on time! He listened carefully to my explanation and then instructed me step by step so that I now know how to start the wireless printer if that is required and how to print from my computer! He made all the necessary adjustments to both the computer and the printer. Works great! Yay! I have my directions written down and I am so happy! I highly recommend THRIFT COMPUTERS!

My MacBook was dysfunctional due to liquid damage which held all my work. This service was so quick and efficient. Russell was so kind, understanding, professional and helpful. I will definitely be going back here. I got my laptop back as good as new within a day and he also taught me how to back up files properly onto a hard drive I purchased at their store.

I actually found Thrift Computers by accident. I was looking for a computer shop that was more established and ended following the wrong address. Boy am I happy that I made such a silly mistake.

I brought my mother's prebuilt pc in to replace a faulty fan, of which I wasn't sure which fan it was. I also had quite an old custom pc that needed rebuilding. Russel was a delight to deal with. He quickly identified which fan needed replacing in my mother's computer and even went as far as installing additional fans upon seeing how cramped and hot her case ran. The older computer rebuild was only $50!

I also discussed with Russel about my search for a 30 Series GPU and how they cost just as much if not more than an entire prebuilt gaming rig, he proceeded to show me a couple of options he had prebuilt that were far better spec'd and of better quality and price than most everything I found online.

So impressed with his professionalism, expertise, and friendliness (he remembered my name each time I entered the store), that I returned a week after the repairs and purchased a high end gaming rig. Impressive more was the fact that he let me test every component that he was selling me before I had to pay. (PC, monitor, key board). I highly recommend Thrift Computers to everyone of any level knowledge and know-how. In fact I have already been spreading the word to all my gaming buddies.

This man is expellant at computer repair! Russell has repaired my broken laptop hinges in about an hour for a very reasonable price. I recognized the experience from the moment I have seen it.

So, another thing that decide to indulge in planned obsolescence. But Russell prevailed as he always does and without fuss put humpty dumpty back together again. Russell you are a star.
