I would give it an all around 5star for being so clean, for good customer service for helpful staff and I'd give it three for pricing but other than that it was a very good experience. I found them very overpriced but then again I live on the mainland so prices are probably a little bit higher over there then here.

Today was the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. There was mix-up on delivery of cold plates ordered online. I don't recall names, but they got it done. The kitchen staff was amazing. I have never posted a review until now, but they deserve recognition for their efforts.

We get our prescriptions filled here and the service is great! Store is very clean and I find the staff very helpful and friendly to deal with.

Amazing veg and fresh fish.good local fruit and a great variety of butcher cuts.
Specials are very good and unusual variety esp fresh seafood and ocean fish

We shop here for alot of our fresh fruits m veggies. It's always great quality. Also they have 3 kinds of halva at the deli and I can't find it anywhere else.

I like the variety of products in the natural health section. The bakery is good. This grocery store can be a bit pricey. Good place for prepared single serve meals. Accepts Air Miles and has online ordering with grocery delivery service. Pharmacy is expansive and accepts most direct bill extended health insurance plans. Great organic foods section. Lately, this store has become the most expensive food store in the Comox Valley. I have revised my review to 1 star.

Found the perfect bouquet of flowers for my Daughter's birthday. Large selection. Great service.

All Thriftys are nice stores on the inside imo. Funny though, the name is a bit of a misnomer. Thrifty to me suggests economy or frugal. That's not what these stores are by any stretch. I do like the deli counter and they have tasty prepared lunch or dinner items at a help-yourself buffet type counter. Friendly clerks at this store.

Also.the Starbucks at this location is the best in Comox Valley! The morning staff is endearing, quick, and the drinks are lovely.
Had a weird experience with the evening staff on one occasion.but that's it!

They've always got what your looking for, prices are on par with most local grocery stores, quality is great and customer service is excellent as well!

A bit more expensive but worth it for produce quality and other selections. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

We have been shopping Thriftys since they have been open. I find the staff are always friendly and helpful. We shopped for some seafood and had a nice young man serve us. He had only been working a few shifts. You could not tell. His name was Matthias. We will be back.

Great place to pay twice as much as the superstore for pretty much everything! Sometimes it's laughable. Lovely staff, decent deals on meat at times. But thier regular prices on shelf items is crazy. 6 English muffins at superstore $2.28

Starbucks in store, ATM and the most expansive produce section I've seen in a while.

A little pricy but great produce and vegetables. They have a lot of specialty items most stores do not. Staff is knowledgable and friendly.

A wonderfull varieties of fruits and veggies. Bake goodies awesome cakes and cookies. Meats and cheeses.they have a wonderful selection of health food items. They have dedicated staff and well run management.

You get what you pay for here. Great selection.quality produce.wicked steaks and other meats. But its expensive

I was surprised to find poke in the seafood service counter at a very reasonable price.

I would like the management to look into education/improvement for the following:
1. The poke was served into a container with gloved hands. This is very weird - this is raw seafood in sauce - why would you use hands to scoop it? (It's like using hands to scoop coleslaw? !? !). Please use a ladle or serving spoon.
2. The staff member also put on new gloves (great) to serve me but then proceeded to use their new gloved hands to open the glass door and then scoop the poke. EEEK! I didn't have the courage to stop them but I really should have. How often is the door handle sanitized? I would have not been bothered if they had used a spoon (see point 1).

The store is clean and has a great selection of everything but please fix the above. Thank you!

Great place to shop for groceries. This branch tries to provide local produce at affordable prices. I try to shop local as much as possible.

Picked up a Baguette that should have been tossed the day before. No best before on it. Must be a new Sobey's thing to save waste.

Best deli sandwiches also great price on fresh halibut of 18.10 per pound. A commercial fishing boat the Tantrum 1 was unwilling to price match. Charging locals 6.90 per pound more for frozen halibut. Good on Trifty Foods

Fresh vegetables are always the best, meat can sometimes have good deals BOGO etc like shop is similar to Sobeys out East.

Love this store! Great selection and quality everything. From their juice bar to their seafood counter, you will find items here that aren't found at other stores in town. Great layout and easy to navigate.

I normally really like this store however.
They have stopped controlling the number of people in the building and honestly it is worse that Costco - which does control its numbers.
It is cheek by jowl in there on a busy Saturday. As much as I find Quality Foods does not have the same selection, it's safer these days.

Even as packed as it was, always a pleasant experience at this Thrifty's location. Employees are always helpful and friendly. It's my go to store, especially when they have good sales. Also, I think their meat is the best of all the grocery stores in town.

Thank you for destroying our Christmas, its been a tough 2020 already but somehow you have sold us a ham that went out of date on the 5th of December? We bought it on the 20th and this was for my family.side of food poisoning on Christmas day for everyone? How little must you check your meat section for an item to be out of date over 2 weeks and still remain there? Unbelievable

This has to be one of the worst Tim Hortons by far. Out of all the times I've gone there I have never once gotten a hot toasted bagel they're always stone cold when you get them. Today to top it off I got a Honey dip donut that was so stale I couldn't even eat it. If you have any other options take them don't go here.

Really great food store! Lots of nice produce, awesome options for food made in store- deli, smoothies, sushi, bakery. Well organized, friendly staff and a nice shopping experience.

Standard supermarket that can be more expensive than some, however I think the veggies and meat are better at Thrifty foods.

Everything about this place is great. Employers, staff, groceries, sometimes the produce could be looked at a bit more closely but overall it's good.

I love this store. Always friendly, especially the cashiers and seafood department. Best seafood department at any grocery store from here to Nanaimo, perhaps beyond. Only place to get many gourmet or specialty items. Amazing deli. I also love their fresh salad bar area where you can make your own gourmet to-go salad sold by weight—incredible selection including all the basics and bonus items like shrimp, arugula, feta, chickpeas, blue cheese, kalamata olives, nuts and seeds and lots of fruit. Would give this location a 5 but I do find its also the most expensive grocery store from here to Nanaimo too, so I shop here for some items and go to Superstore for the bulk of my shopping to save money.

Looked around no help on the floor, also they have taken away products from shelves, I'll have to get somewhere else! They stopped caring island Bakery Bread! You can tell this is owned by an eastern company, Becsuse they know nothing about what people like on the West Coast! People on Vancouver island support local businesses local food made on Vancouver island!

Thrifty's can be alittle expensive but they make up for it with service and quality. Their deli selection is great, the hot selections are quite good. The beef ribs are amazing!
So is the Prime Rib - perfectly seasoned! Gravy and potatoes make it a real treat! And they have Organic Roast Chickens! Salad bar is pretty good to.

They do have a little more vegan options. That's the only reason why I went in here. But the self serve cash out is a joke. Save yourself time and go to a clerk. The self serve takes longer. Once you put something in a bag it doesnt let you scan anything else unless the self serve lady lets you. She is on her own little computer next to all of them. If you just want to get out of there fast dont go through there.

I just love Thrifty Foods! Staff is always well kept, kind and helpful. The store is always clean and stocked with fresh, quality and as often as possible, as local as possible products.
