Very poor experience in self check out. We were waiting for quite some time while the machine needed an attendant, while an employee stood by doing nothing. A nice lady on till named Rachel saw this and intercommed for assistance at self checkout. She did nothing, then talked to a friend of hers. She had dark hair and was in uniform.

Great service. Love the renovation. Today this store exceeded my expectations and then some. Wanted some beef short ribs for a very slow eight hour cook on the Kamado joe and was presented with two amazing slabs. Perfectly trimmed and the silver skin removed. Fred Flintstone would be proud of these.

Seems like a good place in good location. Under renovations tight now, so should be better once done. A bit dark, let's and fresh paint would definetly improve the interior. We'll be back. Thank you

Everyone is so thoughtful here at Thrifty's in Broadmead. I just don't want to shop anywhere else. It almost feels like the grocery store i frequented when I was growing up. It has that down home feeling.and they even brought back my favorite chocolate flavour for my natrel lactose free milk! I have been shopping here for twenty years and they must be doing something right because the staff doesn't turn over all the time.regular staff=regular customers

Always a nice shop, nice customer service and great selection of plant-based products. Great to see the local Very Good Butchers products there! My favorite!

I want to say a big thank you for the excellent customer service I just received while ordering the grocery order #4068489 I had delivered today. I called a couple of times to asked if I could add a few more things I had forgotten and really needed with this order. I hate having to do that but the Customer service ladies I spoke with were so awesome and friendly. I just want to say, I sure appreciated everything they did for me. The delivery was right on time and everything was perfect. Great Job Thrifty's!

So wonderful. I wanted to place an order from Texas to be delivered to my husband at the hotel he was staying as a surprise for our anniversary. Ran into issue with trying to process an American credit card and they provided a work around and the Customer Care center made sure to contact the store directly to be sure it all went smoothly. So grateful at the personalized care.

I happend to shop at Thrifty Foods recently and was suprised to learn that their prices are considerably higher than that of other supermarkets. For example Island Farms 4L 2% milk is more than 25% expensive than the price offered by other supermarkets. Hope Thrifty foods will take steps to live upto its name at least.

Nice staff.wonderful demeanor. This Thriftys along with Broadnead and Fairfield, are the best ones.better than Hillside and Tuscany Thriftys anytime.

Always been a good location with great produce and staff. With the age of the location the aisles are quite narrow, which isn't ideal, especially with social distancing issues.

It's not a bad place but key items like sugar is not listed on any signs and if you never bought it there before you end up running up and down the aisles looking for it. At the least there should be a sign stating baking supplies and sugar and flour and baking soda and powder as well as food coloring and all other baking supplies should be organized in one main aisle on bothe sides. This is very doable and would make finding stuff much easier. It's simple common sense to me anyways.

Staff is always helpful, the atmosphere is good. Ample parking. Enjoyable to shop there.

This location is pretty long in the tooth, but still love the layout and the staff. Great selection as always and a few good sale prices to boot.

For thebpassed few years i checked this thriftys was 24/7 but apparently not, waist my time and gas driving here to it being locked with 0 signage on the door to even explain why its closed. 1/5

The bland and dryness of the Cesar chicken wrap will haunt my dreams forever. Ate half and threw the rest out.

It's a good grocery store with pretty much everything you need. I think this one is open 24hr as well.

The grocery store that has basically everything. Great meat selection, a bountiful produce section that is always well stocked, breads made in house as well as an abundance of other quick meals that are easy to prepare. The florist selection is always beautiful and has many bouquet options. Staff is friendly and definitely quick for the fast paced environment that always seems to be present at this location.

Thrifty's goes the extra mile to bring in a variety of fresh produce, with a focus on local and BC grown fruits and vegetables. The store isn't so big that you are exhausted after a shopping trip, but they pack a lot of variety in their regular stock, and they are rarely if ever out of something because they don't rely on shipping all of their stock from Calgary or further east like another popular big box grocery store. This location in particular is great for quickly running in to grab the things you need. The staff is amazing and actually enjoy working there. We shop here quite a bit because it is so close to our house, it's perfect for a quick stop right after work. I love their egg salad sandwiches and their banana nut muffins!

Thrifty's is always nice to visit. Staff is helpful, friendly. If I can't find something, I will ask about it and I get help.they have no problem with this! Some stores make you feel like it's a problem! Great customer service. Love this

Friendly & helpful staff. Produce is fresh & has big selection. Store is on the small side but that makes for a quick shop if you're in a hurry. I find prices on the high side & take advantage of sales. Air miles accepted here.

Clean, the produce is some of the best (have the opportunity to oay a bit more for that) ; meat department is good, lots of options but hard to beat Glenwood meats

I love this thriftys open 24 hours. Not like stores back home in ontario. Not used too 24 hour stores. Some prices are more but they have lotsa good deals all the time too. And the employees are always friendly. And decent to talk with. Love it. Kinda reminds me of home for friendliness.

Go to use the bathroom and buy garlic bread was accused of stealing wen I buy my food or go to food banks not impressed

Beautiful big store. Lots of fast pick up food ready made. The price takes it down a star in my mind.

Great staff always, but ever since they turned their primary disabled parking into a garden centre its been a position to get around, and on busy days like this those spaces run out.

Too pricey. Too busy. Too many brand new staff. But. I like the selection and nice presentation of food

Hot food bar very disappointing, filled up my container only to find out it's going to cost 16 dollars! I was hungry so I paid anyways. Now eating the food and it tastes 3 days old, the rice is bland and all the meats taste the same. Very disappointed do not recommend to anyone looking for lunch, you'll get more food for CHEAPER at fairways or quality foods hot food bars.

Very good store for baked goods and produce. Wide selection of many items. Friendly staff and clean.

While usually I have excellent experiences here, this visit was very frustrating because I planned a family dinner on Sunday around the fact that Thrifty foods had lamb roast on the weekly flyer. I went to the 24 hr store on Saturday evening around 930 pm to find none on the shelf. I did ask 3 different staff members of they could please get a whole lamb leg out of the cooler. I was told the meat cutter was off shift. I explained that it did not need to be cut as I wanted it whole. Long story short we ended up having chicken thighs.

I use to shop exclusively at this branch of thrifty foods. Although more expensive than their competitors.the customer service was the difference.not so much anymore. My last experience was shameful. The cashier was obviously having a bad day or is just generally always like that? Not helpful at all. I tried to redeem airmiles points at til using my app on my phone and was told I can't without the physical card.hmm? Air miles tells the consumer to use the app.and thrifty foods (one of their partners) says we can't use the app. Get with the times Thriftys! The cashier and shift manager were both less than helpful.basically i was told to deal with airmiles.passing the buck I would say.
Based on this.high prices.poor customer service and less quality than they used to have. I will be shopping else where from now on.
