A complete bag of apples rotten and we have had previous bad experiences at the Quadra & McKenzie store.

Flowers were beautiful to start but after 4 days they started to mold in the stems and by day 6 they were completely moldy and had to be thrown out. I've had many bouquets of cut flowers over the years and to have one rot before a week had passed is not acceptable. Will not be purchasing flowers here again.

Worst thrifty's I have ever been to, there is a distinct smell of mold when you walk in that follows you for your entire shopping experience, unfriendly cashiers and poor upkeep. None of the staff are accomidating best time to go is right when they open for full selection.

The one cashier at the courtesy desk with the long brown hair is always miserable. She was yapping to her "friend" while ringing in her order. She was purposely going slow to spend more time with her as the line up kept getting longer.very unprofessional!

Shopping at this thrifty's fairly standard, items are easily found, and prices are good most of the time. I will say for the public bathrooms though there's only one for the entire store and having a bathroom lineup when you really have to go, is not so fun.

I'm always surprised how small this location is, and yet they still stock all the sale and regular items I am looking for.

Good quality groceries, though ironically, not thrifty. Friendly but inefficient customer service. And make sure you bring your own bags cuz if you don't you'll be punished with their handleless paper ones. Baked goods are the best on the block

Great selection in all food products including fish, meat, poultry, and dairy, many floral products, bakery department makes to order, lottery and gift certificates available. Staff are friendly and courteous. Air miles accepted. Highly recommended.

These guys are great. Fabulous service, great selection. I especially love that the bacon isn't getting packaged in plastic from the meat department like some other stores which ruins the quality.

Good selection, clean, and staff are polite, efficient and helpful. Prices are a bit high but if you catch them on a sale day you can get some reasonable prices.

The deli area employees are very nice, but the cashiers have continously been so rude for over the year I've been going here.
I didn't want to write a review until now because I figured it may just be a bad day, but it seems nearly everytime I have to go through the check out aisle i receive such terrible customer service that I genuinely stay upset for days afterwards.
Never had any issues in any other thrifty location though, this is just a weird location.

I like Thrifty food meat. However, the international food section is not as good as Fairway. Also, there is not drug store, so you will have to use London drugs. But for normal grosery shopping is fantastic. The quality is high, so no complaints there.

Started off as a local grocery store, has grown a some and is no longer locally owned. However the service and the fresh food is still top notch!

2020-Jul-23: They surprised me by having the fire roasted canned tomatoes and San Marzano tomatoes I like. They even had Poblano peppers in a package, which I also liked, but when I opened the package at home a few minutes later, they turned out to be spoiled.
The attractively coiled and displayed hot Italian sausage turned out to be a a bit dried out.: (
Although they do their earnest best to keep pandemic shopping safe, the narrow aisles and other layout issues of the store make it near impossible.
I'm from a region that doesn't really have any of these supermarket chain stores, so this is a highly anecdotal accounting of a single visit.

Thriftys great no line up.you can bring your own bags again they still have everything you need

Loved this Thrifty Foods didn't have latex balloons in the display case as the other one I usually go to did. I'm anaphylactic to latex rubber.

Gone way down hill. Hardly any customer service or smiles. Just miserable workers waiting to clock out. What a shame. Garbage store. Terrible management

This is a smaller store which is great for quick stops but doesn't have a much as the bigger stores. The parking lot sucks, but a good trick is to go to the underground.

Mediocre grocery store, very few tills open even when busy, not worth paying extra of there is no service advantage. Sales floor staff avoid contact at all costs. Selection is fine and product quality is decent but more expensive than many other places

Service always. I use a lot of premade meals as I don't like to cook for one. They also have
A Bank of Montreal ATM at a lot of their stores.

Shout out to the employees at Thrifty's Flowers & More in the Saanich centre! Had 2 different bouquets and some single stem roses all wrapped together today for my wife (anniversary). The woman who did it took time and care and was very professional. She handed me back a single bouquet that looked far better than the random handful I had a few minutes earlier. I have been getting my wife flowers from this store for years and this is why. Excellent customer service every time!

Smaller location, doesn't have the largest selection but you can still find everything you need. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

A great place to stop and grab a boquet or some other gift for plant and flower lovers. I suspect their prices are better than a lot of other florists around town although they have a similar sized selection. It is right across the parking lot from the grocery store so pop in next time you are nearby.
