Floral Dept. - Great help from the Floral Designer, patient and knowledgeable. Lots of selection.

I’d like to acknowledge the gal that was working in the meat department today. She went out of her way to find a big turkey for me. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name as she gave me fabulous customer service and that should be acknowledged. She had blonde hair tied back. I’m hoping the store manager can pass on my appreciation. She was great!

Perfect. Went for their tortierre, they were in stock so I took 2!
No line at the cashier, everything is going well.

Not sure why today's shopping visit has become so difficult. I'm fairly easy to please, but now I need a card to buy food, allow consumer tracking based on my preceived age, preceived gender and actual shopping habits. Sobys products that are advertised? Are not available but the staff have patience waiting for me to dig out my sobeys scene card at the check-out and when they asked me if I wanted the redeem my points, I said "they (sobeys) didn't tell me I can, yet"

They have a great selection, just be ready to pay for it. It's very expensive, comparatively, in my opinion.

I love this store. People are always super friendly and it's got that high end feel to it. Nothing is broken down and filtly like Wally world across the street. It is definitely pricy but there's always some really good sales. Highly recommend.

The prices are a little on the high side, but the quality of their produce is fantastic. Their meat department is the best in the area by far. I highly recommend the thick cut bacon from the meat counter!

This is probably the best grocery store in South Surrey. It’s a perfect size. You can run in and find things quickly and not spend a whole day looking. Yet they have a large enough selection of everything. They have all the basics and also some gourmet and local items.

They are still part of the Airmiles program.

Parking can be a little hectic as it’s located inside an outdoor shopping plaza.

Outstanding Food Delivery service! First time we have tried the online order and delivery for Mom. She was overwhelmed and said the food quality of Fruits and Vegetables was outstanding. The food choices were great, prices are fair and service outstanding. Thank you Thrifty Food staff for doing such a great job! We will be back for more deliveries in the future.

Keep up the good work thrifty don't fall into the same boat as the Safeway or save on stores in south Surrey

Not the cheapest grocery store but they have items you can't find in other local stores. Nice layout and helpful staff. I like this store.

Very nice people, and a pretty good selection. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they don’t carry Nestles Quick

Their prices are high, but that's somewhat justified by the quality of their products. My issue is that they're SOOO SLOW. The staff move at a snails pace.at the pharmacy counter, at the fish counter, at the cashier and customer service.expect to wait a while. Come here only if you're looking for a leisurely stroll around a grocery store, or if you're trying to befriend Thriftys employees. Don't come here if you're just trying to pick up something quick for dinner.

The cake and pastry selection is amazing, a good variety. The cheese selection is fantastic, great prices. They also have a variety of plants and cut flowers, reasonably priced and healthy. I love this location

It was not easy to find. Very little signage from the road. I paid $5 for celery. Pharmacy was in a small corner. Parking was OK.

Thrifty is a grocery store chain that's well known and quite large, having tons of things in stock and at a decent price. This location, inside the shopping center, has tons of parking, nice employees, and lots of options inside. Hot food bar is pretty good here too. They have a wide variety of items too, including a lot of organic and healthy options.

The produce men are rude and not helpful first thriftys I have ever been to where we get treated horrible

Like Safeway high prices but better products. Produce is always better. More local farmers in there. The meat is top grade and seafood is mostly fresh and tasty. The bakery has always been the best. Fresh and great and healthy breads and pastries. I love going there since moving to White Rock.

Thrifty foods has quality products but the selection is limited most of the time. Still, don't let that stop you. There's something for everyone at Thrifty Foods.

A really good grocery store with an excellent bakery and friendly staff, but the name is not suggestive of the prices.

Buy 1 get 1 sale on Pork shoulder, arrived at 9am on day of sale to find 3 roasts, I politely asked if there were any more coming and t
he butcher came out and said "yeah its gonna be at LEAST 20 mins, I'm doing custom cuts right now" with a tone. NOT NECESSARY. Also, maybe prepare beforehand when this type of sale is on and don't take it out on your customers. Hope he feels better making me feel bad for trying to get a deal over his "custom cuts"

The store was pretty dirty, and my front end experience was to say the least, lacking. My cashier, think his name Hammish, was very rude, looks like he just got dumped. What ever it was it was directed at me. Thank god for Cathy at customer service, who gave me the treatment, all customers deserve. Also, this other cashier, blond, big ahh nose, was giving me dirty stares. Thx for my bread, and milk tho.

This is your typical grocery store similar to others although there are items I have not seen in other grocery stores. Their bread items are quite good. I recommend the focaccia. It was baked just right. Lots of parking beside and behind the store.

Loved it here! Great selection for a small store, packed with natural and alternative foods that you can't get elsewhere. Could find what I needed and was offered help for the things I didn't know where they were. Got in and out fast, also have great selection of plants available just outside the store. Wish there were more Thrifty Foods and less Chalo or Safeway stores, or that Safeway had more of the Thrifty Foods selection, weird considering they are all owned by the same company.

I find everything I need & more & the staff is friendly & helpful Especially the Pharmacy

This is our favorite grocery shop in the area, the staff are always helpful and ALWAYS friendly. The Deli items are fresh and a good selection. The seafod counter is the BEST in the area too.

Really good produce section.
We were disappointed that the Donia Farms chocolate milk was sold out. We've been trying to find some for a long time and heard that Thrifty sells it. So we went to get some only to find it sold out. We will keep on searching!

Food is high quality and worth the price. Store is clean and staff are professional. I love stopping in here, always find something new! They even carry the Fody brand which is fantastic news for me!

Best place to shop. Everything looked so good. Check out the Bakery. They have a lot of new things. I really want to try everything.

Great place. Beautiful and charming plant corridor with lots of great selections. Fresh produce, great meats, tasty quick meals. Fun seasonal bulk choices pre-measured and packaged up. Excellent selection and good environment. Thank you!

If you want a really cool looking cake, send the bakery here a photo of what you want! They do custom everything on their cakes. The meat department here is also great.
The prices here may be a bit more then competition grocery stores, but the quality in each department is worth it. Plus airmiles!

I've enjoyed Thriftys since living in Victoria. They have tastes no-one else does. I wish they weren't closing locations

Nice but pricey store. Have to find things that are on sale to get a good deal. I do enjoy their deli there. They're dalmades are fabulous.

It's a great little supermarket. The prices are bit high, but the selection is alright, overall one of the better supermarkets around

Glad to see this store getting busy; it's always been a family favourite. Love the bakery and the produce sections especially. Staff are friendly.

Gives out masks, but have seen a couple workers and customers not wear mask properly or at all. Wish they had a better mask policy

Thriftys I feel has more "Healthier food choices" and top of the line produce and products. If you dont mind paying a little extra money for the quality then shopping st Thriftys is your type of grocery store. Would have been 5 stars if everything wasn't so expensive.

They have an alternate selection of cheeses and bakery items that are very good. However, they are pricier than all the other grocery stores and even local fruits and vegetables are more expensive.

One of my fav grocery stores! Always well stocked, great sales and customer service is excellent! Worth checking out!

Extremely clean, great customer service, short line-ups are a great trade off for slightly higher prices.

My go to shopping place. Also like Sunday evening shopping at 6pm, they dim the lights and don't play music so it's chill. Great variety of products.

Placed an order for a gender reveal cake in the bakery with Allison. As they didn't have one in their catalog Allison asked me to email her a photo of how I wanted the cake to be decorated. She did an incredible job! The cake was exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much Allison!

Fancy supermarket, lots of Organics, Vegan, healthy options, delicious pastries and desserts, came for an item on sale, it was sold out so they gave me a rain check that never expires, I will be back.

#1 grocery store in and around this area. Tills are open! Brown paper bags are free! They bag your groceries for you! They offer pieces of fruit to children at the till! Flower shop! Lotto service! Ya ya nothing is free but I pay extra for everything this place offers. Thank you, Thrifty Foods!

This is obviously an upscale experience compared to Superstore or Walmart. Thriftys seems more reasonably priced then Choices for organic foods.

We don't have The Whole Foods in South Surrey. This is closest you can get to healthy food.

I love design of the store and large selection of organic food and healthy food in general. I would say this is a go to place for good produce, cheese selection, meet and whole wheat options.

Being from the island I love Thrifty Foods one of the greatest places to shop really low prices and freshness in everything

I had the worst service with the flower shop in the thrifty foods for my last visit! I usually buy flowers on different occasions from here, but my last visit was disappointing.
The girl at the counter was not professional at all, and she was not so attentive and rude!
I didn’t like the service I had and I’m definitely not going to her next time!
I like the ambience of this place but the flower shop experience gave me a bad impression.

Not the usual today. Produce was lacking with a few missing essential items, onions were not great for example, there was no veal available in the last department and packaging at the checkout was not impressive, leaving me, a senior, with a few articles not in bags which I had to haul individually.
I am disappointed because it used to be a favorite and now it seems like it's going downhill

A bit expensive but the quality is better than most grocery stores. Bakery deli and meat Dept. Are especially nice

A gourmet style super market that is easily Accessible and affordable for all. Lots of unique choices vs a traditional big box grocery store

Unlike what its name suggests, this place is very clean, upscale and urban. Friendly staffs and great selection of items.

Out in South Surrey while staying there did my shopping very competitive prices excellent apple crumb pie where you could buy whole, half or slice and great muffins. A good grocery shop

Staff wasn't friendly. Bought a mango and found a worm inside. When I tried to ask for a refund, the would not allow it.

It's a good place to do your grocery shopping. Staff are super friendly, though not too many choices for lunch goers.
