Very disorganized and dishonest reception staff! Booked a walk-in appointment with a doctor here and had to drive 45+ mins to make the appointment. ***Upon arrival***, they told me my appointment was cancelled; there was NO phone call or email notice. The girls at the front desk tried to lie and said an email was sent but nothing was in my inbox or spam to corroborate their story. Perhaps they need extra training - It is embarrassing and infuriating to say the least, to be told upon arrival that my appointment was cancelled with zero notice or even attempted phone call.

Beware of wasting your time here.

Dr. Grewal is an amazing doctor! The girls at the front desk are also very kind and friendly. Specially Katherine, she has an outstanding customer service and always goes above and beyond for everyone.

Great clinic, great location, great doctors!
Went in for a walk in appointment and they were able to get me in with one of their doctors pretty quick. He was very knowledgeable and understood my problems right away (cause I have so many).

I’ve been going to Thrive since they opened at the Steveson location and I have had the best experience every time. Dr. Dhingra is one of a kind - very knowledgeable and thorough. Will recommend him and this clinic to everyone.

Doctor's are best at this clinic, The real challenge is the Receptionists there. If dealing with them face to face in office, the talk reach to a conclusion smoothly, BUT if you get engaged over the phone, Dynamics change and now God is the last option to save you. They become so arrogant, unprofessional and it adds more beauty to it when they made a mistake and they dictate you to admit that you are wrong. So my advice is to be extra cautious when over the phone and also keep in mind you are not the only one, there are many others who become victims of this team. Again Doctor's are great and I brought to their attention before but seems like they are helpless. Hope this help others.

Visited some time ago. Doctor is nice but the waiting time is outrageous, I waited for 40 minuets outside and another 40 minuets inside, I was right on time getting there. The 80 minuet wait is horrible, I hope this does not occur more times.

They advertised as walk in clinic, so I have visited Saturday and saw a print attached to the door mention they will not accept any walk in for today as they have no available time.went back on next Monday early morning and saw the same print at the door so this time I have asked them and the receptionist said we don't have same day walk in. If this was the case better you answer your phone or at leased change the clinic description on the website and stop wasting patient time.

I called to make an inquiry and the lady on the phone was so rude she just hung up on me before i was about to ask my last question, when i call back theres no answer, i would strongly recommend against going here

I highly recommend dr Danny dhingra. He’s very knowledgeable and caring. He listens to all your concerns and never felt like I was rushed.

As others have mentioned, no one answers the patients call @ a respectful timeline.
Unfortunately, my recent experience @ clinic has me looking for a new Family Physician, which we all know is nearly impossible at this time in BC.
So the questions are, do WE as Patients, accept the low par service we are (I should say I am) receiving and continue w/these Physicians or risk the chance of not finding another at this crucial time.

I had x-ray 5 months ago. Since I did not hear anything I assume "No news is good news".
By the time I see the dictor, he said he has not received the report. There is leakage in the system.

From the moment I happened upon Thrive medical clinic and making my first appointment, I was met with friendly and welcoming receptionists who were extremely helpful and got me right in the next morning. Dr. Kahn was exceptional and was not only helpful and kind but spent a very long time listening to my extremely complicated medical history. He put me at ease. The office is beautiful and clean and the staff is lovely. I am so lucky and grateful to have found this place especially during these very difficult times in finding a physician. After our last doctor retired I feel incredibly lucky to have signed up here. The office is clean and new. They really have onboarded modern tech which I love. Our doctor is knowledgeable, interested, plus engaged in and out of the practice. Location is brilliant which tons of parking at Ironwood.

Many years ago Doctors would visit patients in their homes. Now you have to be well enough to hopefully find а Doctor who will see you, then wait two weeks for the next available appointment. Still alive? Congratulations, you didn't really need to see a Doctor. Five stars for this Doctor's office, because they actually consented to see me. My success rate with Doctors, from diagnosis through treatment is about 10%, so I came prepared with the correct diagnosis, and my preferred treatment. I doubt that anyone will call about my specialist referral, but that's okay. I know a country in Europe with a third world economy where I can see either of two specialists just by walking into their office. If anyone is having trouble finding a Doctor and needs an unopened tube of antibiotic cream I have one, for my potentially fatal bacterial infection. I'm still alive, so I guess I never really needed to see a Doctor. Good luck. You'll need a mask, even though the Cochrane review has been out for six months now, debunking the idea that surgical masks prevent viral infections.

They had someone else’s number under my health card number/file and phoned them during my doctor’s appointment. When I told them it wasn’t me (apparently the person confirmed they were me), they deleted the number and didn’t bother calling back the person they spoke to to confirm whether identity theft/fraud was occurring here.

Instead, they sent me a “copy of my patient agreement” which says I’m responsible for the information on file… and thus the phone number… that I literally never provided to them.

Basically, they are enabling others to commit identity theft by not properly confirming that patients are who they say they are - and by keeping no records or information that could help an investigation for when this does occur.

Doctors and receptionists are nice. But they seem to have trouble keeping patient files organized (like others were saying), they lost my email somehow (surely that field was on the patient intake form?)
but considering the state of our healthcare system, they’re decent.

This is my first experience with this clinic. What a simple, seamless, efficient way to register and book appointments. I phoned the receptionist to get clarification and she was kind and prompt. I have a good feeling about this clinic and already have confidence in the doctors. Thank you.

How are the doctors here able to make a living with the front desk NEVER answering ANY of the phones! I have call logs that will blow your mind, showing how many times and on different days I have called to get an appointment and they just don't answer! I'm beyond shocked at this point.

The front desk girls are great, super efficient and very accommodating! Katherine and Marie are very welcoming and polite! Dr. Grewal is very professional and accommodating, he genuinely cares about his patients.

The doctors are super friendly, Today I waited for approximately 20 minutes for my treatment, and the doctor showed up and the first thing he did was apologizing for the delay. I meant, seriously, doctor, I thought 20 minutes delay was normal, well, at least it happened to me at the other clinic and nobody seems care. Besides that, he asked me if I had anything else he can do for me. I know some of clinics only allow to deal with one issue per visit. I definitely recommend this clinic.

I love dr Kahn but the office is actually impossible to get ahold of. Sometimes the number is randomly out of service, or immediately busy line, line drops out, etc. I have spend days and days on different occasions trying to get ahold of the office. I usually end up having to go DOWN to the office and walk in to speak to someone. Absolutely infuriating.

Dr Grewal has been very helpful in answering all questions and was attentive toward any concerns.
