Thunderbird Animal Hospital

I love this veterinarian office for its efficiency and they always have stock available and they treat the animals so well. There’s one worker there who always has an unwelcoming attitude everytime I’m there to pick up medication but she seems to get the job done regardless and since the attitude is there everytime I don’t take it personally lol and that’s not the veterinarians fault.

Always a great service. I was happy when my jack Russell had torn a ligament they gave me options, didn't suggest to operate straight away. We opted for complete rest and after 6 weeks she had much improved.

We had an appointment yesterday with 4 dogs, so professional and patient. Our dogs are normally timid and did very well with the examinations and shots. Worth travelling from North Vancouver.:)

We started here with our previous pet and were very pleased with the accuracy of the diagnoses we received. Although our new pet had been started with another vet by the shelter, we found that we could not rely on their diagnoses, so came back here to resolve the issues our pet had. That saved his life. Great local vet we were recommended through a breeder. Friendly reception staff who are animal lovers. We like the text message reminders for appointments. Took great care of our kitten and explained things to us well as new pet owners.

I took two very nervous cats that we had adopted in for a check up and nail trim. The doctor was great and the cats never new they had been handled.

We’ve been taking our beloved pets to Thunderbird for 8+ years. Thunderbird gets us in on same day for emergencies and when we make appts for vaccinations etc the wait is usually quite minimal. During Covid, Thunderbird came to our home to support us during the process of putting down our fur baby. They were compassionate, professional and patient during the entire process. We recommend Thunderbird for your veterinary needs.

Love the Staff and the Vet. Would highly recommend. We brought in an older female cat. Turns out she is getting old lol and has arthritis. The Vet was amazing when it came to handling her. She knew he was there to help her and didn’t make a single fuss about being handled or turned over and around by the vet. She knew he was good people! Highly recommend. They were very good with booking us in and being new to the area. Thanks Thunderbird!

Was recommended by someone, and so happy we went.the vet was quick to care for our Max and He is doing fantastic now, thank you Thunderbird. Highly recommend this place.

Without going into details, our cat developed an issue, for which we tried to find help in different places. First, got referral to a fancy clinic from our previous vet. They charged a few hundred dollars for a consultation and suggested further tests for a few thousand dollars just to be comfortable to proceed with a surgery, which would be even more money, so total bill would be ~10k. We kept asking around for a second opinion, and ended up here. The doctor suggested a shot of antibiotics — two months later our cat felt much better, and we had her get another shot. Now, about 6 month since then that issue is 90% gone. So happy we found this place.

I got my 2 dogs 5 yrs ago and have used Thunderbird Animal Hospital since. They have been awesome, with reasonable pricing. Highly recommend them

My experience here was alright, wish it could be better. The reception isn't really friendly, dont think they are animal lovers. The vet is a male (forgot his name). My dog was really afraid being on the metal table, and he didn't even take time trying to bond or make my dog feel comfortable. I don't think my dog likes it there, and I just don't feel the care of their services. Prob won't go there again.

I have always had excellent care at Thunderbird. I appreciate their notifications re shots and checkups.

They refused to help a stray cat that was injured without payment from the strange who rescued the cat. They are only in for the money, they don't care about your animal.

I’ve heard terrible things about this vet clinic. They are in the business for all the wrong reasons and are only focused on making money and not the well being of animals. Someone brought a cat in that was hit by a car (the cat did not belong to them) and they refused to even see the badly injured cat without eventual payment. Shame on you Thunderbird animal hospital. I truly hope you reconsider how you run your business as these actions are unacceptable and outright immoral. Everyone should be aware of this and don’t bring an injured animal in for emergency service unless you want to waste your time.

Super pleased with this place! My little dog needed many teeth removed and they were so great and reasonably priced! Hard to find nowadays. Staff are wonderful.

The other day a friend of mine found a cat on the side of the road who had been hit by a car in Langley. She reached out to Thunderbird Animal Clinic because the cat was still alive and needed immediate help and they were close by, but they refused to care for the cat unless she paid upfront. This wasn’t her cat, she just found it hit by the side of the road and it was still alive and the veterinarians office refused to take it unless somebody paid upfront. To me this is gross negligence and it shows they are only concerned for the greed of money and not at all about helping this poor animal. Thank goodness another emergency animal clinic in Langley took the kitty in and great news it survived. But Thunderbird Animal Clinic didn’t seem to care if it lived or died, all they wanted was money. An animal was suffering and in distress but their main goal was payment. That’s just so gross.

We have been bringing our dogs to Thunderbird Animal Hospital for many years. We appreciate the time, care and common sense we have received. I always refer others to this clinic.
