Tia Health - Online Canadian Doctors, No fee $0 with health card

Just like every other review. Waited an hour, kept getting messages that the practitioner was late and it would be 10 to 20 minutes. Didn't have time to wait anymore (the reason an *appointment* was booked) and had to hang up, used Maple, rather spend the $70 and get the care I need than try to rebook through these fools.

Worst health app and services ever. The dr cancelled on us at 8pm after waiting for 1h30 for a baby! Unacceptable!

Never even got a call. I’ve been up since 555 am waiting for the call scheduled at 6: 07 am. It’s now 8am and I stopped getting any notifications of people in front of me and I have to go to work soon and am unable to discuss my issues around other people as it is a sensitive subject. I could have been sleeping in instead of getting up for absolutely nothing to come of it. I signed up and was very hopeful and glad it was easy to register for appointment only to find that I wasted my time and sleep for nothing.

This is a fraudulent scam!
They take your health card number and then the doctor never shows up!
They charge the host for a doctor visit and even make you sign up for their rooster
But no doctor ever sees you!

Horrible experience I booked 2 appointments and was ready for my appointment. I never got the phone call or even a message saying that they would call me or join the video call at any point. If you need medical assistance don’t even bother it’s better to just go to walk in clinic when you have the chance than wasting your time waiting for a service

Amazing job! Both by your doctor and staff! Thank you for still providing people (me) this CRITICAL SERVICE! IT IS STILL SO NEEDED! Like myself that doesn't drive, 90% of walk-in clinics close or stop taking patients by 4 or if you aren't with the practice the walk-in clinic isn't for you. So when I need to see a doctor, it forces my husband to take a day off work that he doesn't get paid for just so I can get my prescriptions refilled.
I spoke with the doctor that was 5 minutes late, which was absolutely not an issue.some people like to talk or they may need more of the doctors time! The doctors want to be on time but they are humans, they need a break to go the washroom, eat, and spend extra time with people that need it! They update you right away and tell you the doctor is 5 minutes behind.
My prescription was at my preferred pharmacy that I asked them to fax it to and it was wonderful!
I sent an email to the co-ordinator to see if they got my registration form, and they got back to me with in five minutes
So again THANK YOU for everything! You are doing great work!

Appointment no longer needed. The doctor doesn't show up on the original time with no information to me in advance. I contact the online chat and the person told me to wait on the meeting which then wastes me 40 minutes sitting in front of my camera. The appointment is suddenly rescheduled to a time one week after with no any words to me. This is ridiculous and so rude.

My app was for 10: 00. Waiting time was insane. They keep sending text " sorry another 5 min. "

Booked an appointment for a week out (earliest I could get one), and less than 18hours before my appointment I get a cancellation notice because the doctor is only taking his rostered patients. Seriously, they needed to wait a week to tell me they wouldn't accept my appointment!?

Now I've waited a week for an appointment I need and at the last minute I have to try and make other arrangements. I'll likely have to wait another week, or longer, to book in with someone else!

This is the most rediculous site. Login - make appointment - login again, site now asks me if im part of an ontario group - what? It says right on my profile - Alberta. Youve collected my info but no way to actually book anything. This is a total scam site.you're all going to jail for fraud. Please make sure you bill Alberta health for the non service you provided, I will testify at your court date.

Absolutely impossible to communicate with Tia Health. The doctor I had to schedule a CT scan is now impossible to book with because she hasn't updated her calendar on the site and the Tia help desk is unable to liaise with the doctor and me. The other GP I've talked to didn't even know what a Hamartoma is. If thus is the future of health care in Canada we are doomed.

Worst possible service you can along with trashy health care system. Go get checked overseas

I wish i can zero stars, Dr ola Tarabzuni is the worst, please don't book appointments with her.she dismisses your concern and says to go to a clinic while charging fees for the appointment. These has happened thrice. Beware! Looks like a fraud

My experience was very good despite a minor blip - basically the website had an error and wouldn't load my camera even though it showed in the preview, and my first appointment got cancelled - the doctor was on time. I was able to speak with a support agent right away, and they sent a message to the doctor to call me. In the meantime, they told me I could rebook, which I did, and I got an appointment right away with the same doctor.

The doctor was running about 5 minutes behind this time (the video call screen shows you the estimated time the doctor will arrive), but the call was quick and concise. Within 15 min of my appointment ending, the prescription was faxed in and received by my pharmacy. I also received 2 emails - one to confirm the prescription was faxed, and one was a copy of the prescription itself.

I feel badly for those whose experience wasn't good, but perhaps it depends on what the issue is for and the doctor that you get. I appreciate that I had a good experience and was able to get my medical needs taken care of quickly, because lately that has been extremely hard to do with family doctors being unavailable and many offices changing how they handle virtual care.

I made an appt and after starting the online appt and waiting for about 15 minutes I received a cancellation notice. I went back to register another appt and they listed their "free" appt for $50 even though I'm in OHIP and they advertise free. Scary experience and very poor online presence. The conditions of service were odious and should have scared me away.

Service had been working fine for me for the past year. Only one issue with my script not being sent to the pharmacy. Easily fixed. Doctor was kind and courteous.

Past few months though, I'm unable to make any kind of appointment. Just last week it seems they finally have a notification on their site indicating they're refusing appointments for most services unless you're on a roster with Apple tree clinic. Just my luck, Apple tree won't add me to thier roster as I only have a Quebec health card. So they pretty much cut me off.

Disappointing.

It's just hit or miss. If you are lucky your are good if not then you get doctors cancelling the appointments. It's just like a spin wheel! Not trustworthy.

I had an appointment with Dr. Omer Dost 8 days ago and he said he will send me the referral but they have not sent me the referral yet. Emailed customer service several times but no result.

I have used Tia Health without any issue. I am really surprised all the bad reviews.

It was pretty straight forward, I got an appointment and doctor came online and sent the prescription directly to the pharmacy which was near my house.

The whole process took maybe 1h.

Absolutely awful. The Dr was dismissive and did not listen to any concerns I had. He was rude and it was not a good experience. If they book you with Dr. Rami Abu-Zeidan ask for someone else.

Worst website ever. It is so glitchy and makes it impossible to book an appointment. By the time you get through the glitches appointments are gone and you have to start again. Would give zero stars if it was possible

One doctor would often cancel my appointments last minute. I also had to keep following up with her to see if she had fax my requisition to the specialist and she lied on multiple occasions about faxing it when she never did.

Another doctor sent me to the emergency room for no good reason and wasted my time.

Absolute scam. Made an appt. Never got a call. They charged me money for my request. Never got filled.waited 3 hours only for them to cancel for no reason. Do not recommend.

Spent 2 hours waiting for Dr. Stephanie Finn to join the call despite of being sick, still no show, ended up reaching out to walk in clinics.

Stop hiring cheap developers and project managers, not from the IT field. It’s embarrassing to have such a buggy website in 2022. And where is the QA? ! WHY you are showing MDs that are not available for virtual appointments for a patients requesting a video appointment? !
Learn current trends, nowadays most of the traffic comes from mobile, and this website barely adapted for mobile!

Worst service! I had an appointment with a doctor. I requested for referral to a specialist. The doctor just cut the appointment short and never asked the background why I ask for referral. He said, they will send the referral. 1 week after, I follow up to the clinic if they receive the referral and they said NO. I contacted the customer service of TIA health as I cant contact anymore the doctor, they replied in the first day but now 1 week passed and didnt get any reply from them despite that I do follow up everyday. Also, you cannot contact anyone with phone. All the contacts are all email addresses which no one reply. @ontarioHealth…. This is a scam!

He has zero regards or respect for people requesting his help. I was in need of antibiotics for a bad infection that has been causing constant pain for days. All he does is call my phone once. Hung up and sent a text saying he was cancelling my appointment because he "does not treat oral/dental infections" never in my life have i ever heard something that makes absolutely no sense from a doctor. I need antibiotics and painkillers. What difference does it make what its for. You may not be a dentist but you still could have helped. My name is russel turcotte and you sir are one of the worst health professionals I have come across. If you dont like helping people that find something else to do.

Im starting to think doctors who use TIA are here for a reason because they cant find work anywhere else. Only thing that makes sense. Its certainly not to help people thats for sure.

Went to book another appointment with Dr. O Tarabzun only to be told he doesnt accept virtual appointments yet here is listed on a virtual appointment website. TIA is a massive joke never again will you catch me on it. Id rather die.

The connect to the phone dropped and the doctor didn't care enough to speak with me again, and bills the government for seeing me in part and not a full proper visit! I followed-up with the administrator, and nothing changed. I said I would provide a review tomorrow, and hope the service is improved, and they didn't care to call me back. They said to bill another appointment to get full care! Clearly TIA health just cares about money and not patients! Do not use them!

I called my local pharmacies and they gave me suggestions of physicians to call and the same day, I had a very good visit today with a local telemedicine physician I can see in person too if I wish. I suggest you do the same and avoid TIA health.

Tia should be reported to the government for poor care and billing practices to stop doctors and bad organizations from taking advantage of sick people! Thank you for reading and I hope you find good medical care!

I booked an appointment last night and the doctor never called. Booked another appointment today with a different doctor and he called me earlier than the appointment time. Dr. Johnathan Tau i believe is the name. Short and to the point. Prescription was faxed to pharmacy within a minute of our call ending. Great service from him. Seems this service can be hit or miss but im very happy with how the second try went.

Doctor was late and so brisk I couldn’t even explain my health condition. He literally disconnected on me while I was in med sentence. Terrible service. I would definitely not recommend.

This is the second time I've waited for over 3 hours without a Dr's call.just go to a walk on clinic, this place will waste your entire day, and never tell you why.

I have had nothing but ideal experiences at Tia Health. It's amazing to be able to see a doctor right away whenever I have a concern, and get the help I need. Would rate 6 stars if I could!

I’ve had a great experience with every doctor I’ve spoken to. Great app to get requisitions for blood work or prescriptions filled like inhalers etc. Have, and would again, highly recommend TiaHealth.

I live in British Columbia and finding this service at the start of the COVID pandemic was such a blessing. I've been able to use this as a way to access many different healthcare services and I can't say I've ever had a bad experience.

Worst place for answers. Don't waste your time. Start a chat and takes 15 mins for them to say hello. Then they ask if I live in Canada in which I say YES then I get an answer oh our doctors only service people in Canada.well that says enough about their service. No thanks

I had scheduled an appointment for Sunday 7: 43 pm today. It’s now 10: 49pm and no doctor has called. Complete and utter waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone.

Update: I’ve been to get medical treatment elsewhere however- I just received (MONDAY) a message that my appointment was cancelled because they couldn’t reach me on the phone …. But NO PHONE CALL EVER CAME THROUGH!

Very rushed, rude and impatient Dr. Didn't even tell me what my skin rash may have been caused by. Just said "I'll prescribe you an antiviral medication and if it doesn't get better, go see a doctor in person. I get it that they may be in a rush but could they have done better? Absolutely.

Worst ever. Had an appointment and the doctor failed to send the prescription to gone pharmacy. I contacted customer service, they said the script was not even in my file and they would need to contact the doctor. Lol I’m still waiting. I’ll never be using their services. I’m sure they’re competitors are better.
