Total scammers.
I went to the store and requested their services for flooring replacement. I left $1,000.00 deposit. These people failed 3 times to show up and start the job. Since they did not deliver the product nor services, I cancelled the requested services and wanted my deposit money back. They did not give me the money back and said the floor was final sale, which it did not matter since they never delivered anything to me nor provided me with any services.

Now on top of all, they have sent me to a collections agency Dixon Collections, for the total cost of services and flooring that they have never provided me with. I explained the fraud to the agency and they did not care, they continue calling me on regular basis. Total crooks both Tile Mart and Collection Agency.

Do not do business with these people!

Dont go to this store. They will sell you stuff but when comes to returning stuff they get aggressive. They will walk away from you and ignore you.

Product selection and service unmatched in the flooring industry, we had to change date on installation but these guys came worked evenings to finish our project before Xmas thanks

as soon as my deposit was paid, it was a rough go. Poor communication (blaming me for not calling them when they said they would call once product arrived), and very bad install:
- poorly lined up
- asked us to borrow tools
- chopped or cut pieces of laminate
- a hack job done in my stairwell (including the original wood underneath, over 20 holes in the drywall and the banister scratched up and wood chunks taken out). Poor workmanship.
- a couple of areas where gaps were left (against two separate walls, and at the base of the stairs).
- final wall not finished claiming a special tool was needed and forgotten. The one installer even said he was going for lunch but later claimed he went to Home Depot to buy a tool but couldn’t find it.
- they did all the cutting right inside my doorway and my house was left with saw dust EVERYWHERE. Did not clean up any of it.
- oh yes, and on multiple occasions the installers spoke to anyone other than me, even though I continued to assure them I am the home owner and paying the bills. They even tried to communicate with that handicapped male adult who I am a caregiver for. At one point when my dad came by, they ask him if he had tools to borrow asking if he was the home owner and I was just a tenant in his home. Their demeanour was very sexist in all of this, to which I questioned and brought attention to and they sloughed it off.

I was then charged in full, without authorization or signing anything.

I sent in a huge complaint and the owner who tried to smooth it over. He came to my home and said a lot of my complaints are minimal and the quality is good. Would send someone to fix the walls and such.

In the end, nothing was done and I filed a dispute on my credit card. I was told I would likely only get the portion of service refunded but not product as the product is in my home.
With over fifty pictures, and dozens of pages of emails and texts back and forth, Alongside two home inspections and two separate contractors giving quotes on fixing the job - without question or hesitation, my credit card company refunded the entire balance. The owners of Tilemart never disputed the case (knowing fully that they wouldn’t be able to anyways since they were in the wrong) and that was that.

Like I said. Run away, as fast as you can!

We visited both locations several times and found as we got closer to making a selection the prices begin increasing and found we could for the same quality get a better deal elsewhere.

This company has an F rating on the Better Business Bureau and it is for good reason. They are dishonest, have horrendous customer service, and poor product quality. My family made the mistake of shopping here and we've regretted it ever since. Save yourself the hassle and do not make the same mistake.

Tile mart surrey has the best selection of tiles and flooring for all professionals and diys. The manager set me up with all materials and supplies that i needed for my home project. The pricing was well below what i would of paid at the hardware stores. Thank you Guri.
