Serve your butter at room temperature, cause when I try to butter my bread the butter acts like a chainsaw to my bread when I try to spread it cause its hard as concrete

Okay come on now. When I used to work for Tim Hortons we used to put donuts with fondant in a 2-4 item bag to avoid this exact thing and additionally, the order takers need to stop saying “Is that all” or “Is that everything” after every item a customer orders. I am very disappointed with this location.

Management listened. I recently visited again and this restaurant has made great strides in fixing the problem. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. An area was cordoned off and was being worked on. Kudos to the staff.

This Tim Hortons is so dirty. It smells very bad in here. I had to move tables because the one in the corner facing shoppers smells like vomit. I went to the other available table and had to clear garbage off of it. Then I had to find someone to clean the table and after it is still sticky. Garbage and food on floor. Not an inviting or appetizing restaurant.

They don't answer their phone so don't even bother trying to call for catering or for seeing what donuts and timbits they have. It rings and rings and I called 4 times in a row and no answer! If you havevserious catering needs call a different location. This one clearly don't care.

Ive ordered Tims 5 days a week for over a decade and this location wont allow me to use the washroom unless I am currently purchasing. I was in earlier today. I will NOT be getting Tims for the next decade.many places to get coffee and a bagel

This tim hortons is the worst one in nanaimo.the workers are so preoccupied with their DT timings that they are rude and make things incorrectly.every time i go there my iced coffee tastes like it has 0 sweetener in it.

I have breakfast every morning here.
Today 10 minutes ago I had bagel, I had a hair inside it.
I just vomited my right now, if you are particular with your hygienic never buy from this site.
Staff never does what they are asked to.
Also, we have a lot of Tim in the island buy from any other Tim, till the owner change the staff and give them proper training, including their manager.
Their manager name Saurav as they told.
I request the owner and higher management to get their staff changed and give them proper training as they do wear the gear gears and nor they wear gloves.

Inside service is usually wonderful, but drive through tends to be a different story. I hate to post negative, but I have not had one positive experience through the drive-through. It’s usually very rushed, more than any drive-through I have ever been to. Always have butter all over the outside of the packaging of bagels, same as sandwiches. I always have to asked for a hot sleeve for my tea, any other Tim Hortons just automatically puts it on because they know the hot water is so hot. Unfortunately, just not a great experience.

I have never had the right order. The staff does not listen and do not care about it either.

They never get the orders correct even after slow simple explanation.oh and it's a real joy to have homeless inside and the laser things ar your tills greeting your customers eyes as you walk through the door.

Very friendly staff, offered me free hot water. The store is clean, neat and they serve food very fast!

Disappointing! Great physical space but possibly the dirtiest Tim’s I’ve ever been in. Staff were okay—not friendly but not hostile—and the coffee was good.

Elliot did a fantastic job as always. He is always there, bro is on that grind. I accidentally ordered 9 shots of vanilla and he asked me to confirm it was 9 and I said no it was a mistake thank you for checking. Always so friendly!

I enjoy to be served by these young people who are very busy!
They're regularly overwhelmed by the car service. The problem arises when you walk in and wait, wait and wait!
I suggested to place a bench in the waiting line. (serious joke)

Honestly one of the worst Tim's in Nanimo. The morning staff has seen better days. Its obvious theyre trying their best but they are underpaid and overworked. They are always out of hashbrowns and the donut selection is very limited.

These people are in such a rush to get you in and out of the place that they are constantly ruining your order missing items poorly made food etc I could honestly go on and on and on about how poor these people work even will stand there in front of you and talk smack about you in a different language

They need more help there they sometimes take forever & their not even busy don't get it

Always ask for my breakfast sandwiches double toasted. Almost never get them double toasted even though I've said it three times.

I waited longer than necessary to be acknowledged at the till, then my server was rude and in a hurry to finish my order.

They always get my order wrong, drinks are stirred when they are not supposed to be, and not stirred when they are supposed to be.

Drive thru staff watched their training dvds seriously. Doing much better now. Following communication guides on how to walk threw an order is critical and this crew is getting it right. Thank you!

The universal washroom has blood splatter on the floor, walls, and counter. The toilet had urine all over it. Absolutely disgusting. When I grabbed my phone to document the blood etc, the washrooms had been locked to prevent pictures to be taken

Unfortunately it's a 1 star from me.

Service was poor, food was worse, I'd swear the food controls are being ignored because my crispy chicken was nearly bone hard. It was so dark brown you didn't even think it was chicken. Gross guys.

We asked for 20 assorted timbits and recieved two types. Hmm.

Why wait patiently for 10 or so minutes to get bad food and service for over $20?

Doesn't make sense to stop at this one folks.

Always dirty.can't get an order right if their lives depended on it. Don't ask for 15 or more an hour if u aren't going to do your job.

I have never waited anywhere else in my life so long for service. Probably twice whatever the last record was we're talking like half an hour here. Unreal! So then I get my food and it's the sandwich has somehow half of the bread is missing on the top of the bacon and egg sandwich kind of thing! Please! Wow. I do have an idea. At one point Subway used to have a sandwich or a certification requirement. Hmmmmm.

I went there with a friend and the customer service was AWFUL. We waited in line for seven minutes and nobody helped us. I saw a couple of employees fooling around in the back and nobody helped us until I spoke up and asked for help. The inside was disgusting, all of the chairs and tables were dirty and we saw ants crawling on the walls. DO NOT come here if you want to be in a disgusting environment and have mediocre food. My friend ordered broccoli soup and it looked gelatinous and was cold. Never coming here again.

Disappointing experience (not the first time, but first time bothering to write a review about it).

I ordered a french vanilla latte, and was given a french vanilla (not a latte). I went back through the drive through and the staff seemed a little rude, I said there must have been some mistake and I wanted the latte kind, and she said that they don't make those, and that I had ordered a french vanilla.

All further questions were answered with "we don't serve that here", and confused staring like she didn't know what I wanted. I asked for a coffee instead, and she seemed unhappy about that, too. She said "here", and handed me a coffee that was warm/old and watery.

Every once in awhile I come to this Tim Hortons, and end up wait a long time to be served, there's 1 specific lady that has kept me waiting 3 or 4 times, longer then 7 or 8 minutes, then I leave

Was just there at the front cash and the lady helping costumers gave a kid attitude for giving change for a donut and she was rude, and said “are you kidding me” while rolling her eyes and sighed.very disappointed in your staff, if that is how they treat their costumers then I will not be returning to that location.

A disappointing experience from the perspective of efficiency of service and language barriers. Cleanliness in bathrooms is not good and what I could see of the kitchen was unacceptable too. Manager does not address patron behaviour which can be offensive. A best avoid experience.

This is the best tim hortons in nanaimo, if i was a billionaire i would pay this tim hortons a billion dollars just for one timbit just to show my love for this tim hortons

My boyfriend and I stopped by tim hortons on fifth st. There is this one fella east Indian worker.but he had the such a calm customer service with us. As we were waiting for our hot beverages, this other customer came to bother him for the bathroom. He refused to let him in because they're closed. The customer was so rude and started making a fool of himself and started yelling at the Worker and being racist towards him. Yet the worker himself was very calm handling the situation. And welcomed him out the building with no shout or nothing.
I feel as if he needs a raise, nobody should ever have to go through that and feel that way.

& to top it off, the worker made sure the ones in dine-in were safe and not dealing with the rude customer shouting in front everyone.

March 9, it happened at 7: 42 this evening.

Literally always mess something with my order up, never seem to be able to understand what i’m telling them at the drive through, will leave you sitting in one drive through lane for 5 minutes while they immediately answer someone who just drove up in the other lane next to you.seems to be absolutely no training for their employees this is the worst tim hortons in nanaimo

Don’t think I’ve ever received my order correctly at this location. Also every time I go in there are at least half of the employees just lounging around listening to loud music. Seriously would not recommend this location

Both bathroom were closed so we didn't end up ordering from this location.
Child needed bathroom.

If you go after 6 PM or expect a coffee for your graveyard shift, know that their espresso machine won't work. Regular for a year now!

Although there has been a bit of improvement since opening (upgraded to 3 stars) this place always seems to be in chaos. Donut selection is limited, even worse at night. You never know if the washroom is going to be available or not because it seems that they will just randomly decide it's not available. AND very little concern is shown to the dine in area. It has been a rare occasion that I've gone in to find unused tables clean.

Worst Tim's. People hired here just don't care at all orders ALWAYS WRONG coffee's NEVER stirred and the customer service is non existent basically rips money out of your hand without saying a word throws your order at you in your car vary aggressively all while acting rude.

I think this was in Richmond and the service was Good. I think we were craving our coffee and doughnuts husband got one that had sour cream or something in it.to each his own I think the doughnuts that look like a penguin is overpowering by sour cream taste

Easily the worst Tim's in town avoid if you can
always slow and messing up orders I got a southwest chicken wrap and I guess they were low on chicken because I didn't get any lol

Drive through moves quick at this location, everyone is always so nice. Even my dog gets a Timbit.:)

The coffee is here is often very old and tastes that way too. The staff during the late afternoon are rude to the guests. They just hand the food out the window and don't say anything. Everyone knows the fast food industry needs staff but they should still have standards of their products and service. Tims needs to do better. You guys are way behind the competition.

Was at thecTim Hortons drive thru by university village in Nanaimo and ordered am pumpkin spice latte, it was completely cold. Didn't realize until halfway home: - (
