Tip Top (Tailors since 1909)

First time in 5 years buying a new suit from Tip Top and the prices have barely changed. The process was easy, quick and painless and Jeff G. Was fantastic to deal with.
Highly recommend this Store!

I have been to many other Tip Top's but this one was so disappointing. I called ahead, confirming that they do alterations on Bridesmaid's Dresses, and was reassured they had the "best" seamstress in town. Im not saying she isn't but this is where the experience became rather odd. We chose this location because both of my Bridesmaids live in the vicinity of this store, I (the Bride) however live out of province. When my bridesmaids went into the store they were met with a seamstress who was unable to communicate or answer any questions we had regarding alterations as she dis not speak English. I want to be clear, I am not being racist, and I understand that not everyone speaks English, that being said, if you cannot communicate with the customer and your other staff members are unable to communicate with you, there is quite obviously a problem that needs to be addressed. From what I gathered while on the video chat, is she wanted to change the dresses so drastically, that one bridesmaid would have to pay over $400 to alter her dress! Thats absolutely absurd for a bridesmaid dress. And when trying to tell her I didn't want her changing those things, she wouldn't listen/didn't understand. I personally will never send business to this location, and if it weren't for my positive experiences at other Tip Top locations, I wouldn't recommend Tip Top Tailors to anyone.

Needed a suit and showed some pictures. I was set up with lots of options and had ot measured for tailoring right away. Great knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Visited on a Saturday in May at the start of Grad season. Excellent customer service from highly knowledgeable + experienced staff. No need to try on multiple sizes + suggestions offered were an excellent match for what we were seeking. Whole experience took less than 30mins but did not feel rushed or pressured into decisions. Definitely will return in future. Excellent professional ready-to-wear tailors.

Raymond is the man. Can't say enough about the customer service from Raymond and Tiptop today. He made sure a greasy hillbilly in wranglers and a work shirt shines right up for when my wife flies out to visit. Working on his faith, went in for some shirts and Slacks, he's got me more shined up than a GQ magazine minus the Rolex. Worked selections with the sales to make sure I would get the best deals of the store, took ample time with me to ensure I was happy.

Again. Thanks. I've gone into stores fresh from work and treated like I shouldn't be in there. To have people understand we're not shined up all time means the world to me. I've been treated like gum on a shoe for showing up in less than suit in other stores. I'll gladly pay the pst here to get the repeat service I got today.

It's so nice that the management at this store take health seriously and ask people to sanitize their hands before going around and touching everything. The fact that some people see this simple request as an assault on their freedoms is so laughable. If it offends you so much to have clean hands before browsing through a clothing store, then please don't shop there, no one wants you there.

Tip Top was pretty good today. Went in for one thing but came out with a shirt, tie, socks and a belt. Great service!

Needed to get a new suit for my sister's wedding. First stop, one stop shop right here. Forget the gentleman's name but he gave such great customer service (something thats hard to find these days). Had everything my size in stock. Was an easy choice spending my hard earned cash here. Highly reccomend!

Usually go for their awesome socks! They have a nice variety of everything suit. The staff is friendly and welcoming!

We went in to buy suits for our wedding party in February. We needed 1 last pair of pants closer to the wedding and they were unexpectedly discontinued. The staff were great and went above and beyond to track down a pair for us in the right colour and size and got them to us just in time for the wedding!

Went in for funeral appropriate attire. Despite being extremely busy, as it was Prom/wedding season, I received excellent service after a short wait. The employee (Jeff, I believe) found exactly what I was looking for, and a suitable companion shirt as well. And to top it off, the entire thing was reasonably priced.
Thank you, it meant a lot to me.

My hubby has difficult proportion, very tall extreme slim and long arms. Once the salesman took his measurements, he said we better go to Moore's, and then turn away to another costumer. They have really nice stuff hence the two star. But since they can only clothes men of average proportion and do not actually tailor, meh!

Excellent customer service. Great 30 day sale on right now. Get shopping while selection is at its best. Overall a great shopping experience.

The staff here is always very friendly, professional, and helpful. I have been here many times and am always impressed with their service. I will always return here when I am in need of some nice clothing!
