Tofino Water Taxi

Brandon and his crew at Tofino water taxi are top notch. They go out of their way to make sure that your tour is memorable. Plenty of time for whale watching.

We scheduled a pickup a week in advance and paid. They changed the time on us without letting us know and are missing our ferry connection as a result. Not professional at all.

This was an amazing experience. We took the water taxi to the hot springs. Manuel was our captain. He kept everyone engaged and safe. I figured a taxi would be a simple there and back. It was so much more. We stopped along the way to look at whales, sea lions, sea otters and even a black bear! We learned of some secret surf spots, and had amazing conversations.

Our trip couldn’t have been more perfect! We visited hot springs cove. Our guide Manuel was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and shared lots of tidbits. Our very pregnant was able to enjoy the experience as was, the waters were quite smooth that day. When we reached the boardwalk we had lots of time to adventure through and reach the hot springs. When we were walking through under one of the magnificent old growth trees my partner popped the question! WE GOT ENGAGED! We obviously will never forget this trip and may make it an annual thing. Thank you Tofino Water Taxi for setting the stage for the best day of our lives.

This was a fun, quick boat ride to Meares Island so we could hike Big Tree Trail. The boat is medium-small with covered seating inside that might fit about 6-7 adults plus the boat captain. The back of the boat has an open-air bench that seats another 4 adults, though you'll be exposed to the sun and high wind as the boat speeds along (fun!). Once we arrived at the simple dock at Meares Island (reportedly home to many Black Bears and wolves, but we didn't see any), we were allotted about three (3) hours - plenty of time - to hike and explore Big Tree Trail. The water taxi was punctual on both ends of the trip. As this is a local -run company, I would support and do recommend them.

Lyndon was an excellent driver I enjoyed the extra info about surrounding islands and the chat we had on the way over!

Christine and myself would like to extend our sincere thanks to Manuel for a great day trip to the Hot Springs. Manuel was courteous, very knowledgeable and great sense of humor that made for a wonderful experience yesterday. The walk in on the boardwalk to the Springs was magical with lots of stairs to climb.great workout!

Took the trip to hot springs cove. Our guide Manuel was amazing. He had lots of interesting things to tell us about the area on our way there. The hot springs themselves were pretty breath taking. A ton of sea lions were in the bay near the springs, the ocean was so beautiful. Such a great thing to see while sitting in the hot springs. The forest walk up to the springs is also super wicked. I highly recommend Tofino water taxi
