Sushi by the famous Tojo! He was working while we were there and such a treat. The California roll was phenomenal and everything felt special and tasted delicious. So good! It was our 10yo favorite part of visiting Vancouver.

I’ve explored many sushi restaurants all along the west coast and was expecting this to be Vancouver’s best sushi; however, it wasn’t the experience Vancouverites make it to be.

The sushi was great but wasn’t fantastic - favours were simple and good, and the quality of fish was good too - but for the price tag that comes along with it, it just wasn’t what I was expecting.

The service; however, was great - the staff were professional and very courteous.

Overall, we had a good experience at the restaurant, just that the overall food to price ratio was not what we had in mind, with it being rated “the best” in Vancouver.

The worst value for money sushi I’ve had in my life. Given the hype and price point, I was expecting a Nobu like experience but it was a big disappointment. I hope this is only temporary due to the pandemic situation.

This place didn't live up to the hype for me. Apart from some nice cocktails, the price point on the Spot Prawn Omakase was high and only a few of the courses came close to justifying it. The presentation, ambiance and service seemed lacking as well. I was expecting an elevated dining experience but most of what I got seemed average at best. After years of wanting to eat here I don't think I'll be coming back.

My boyfriend and I recently came here for the Anthony Bourdain menu and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff were so kind in presenting each course to us. I have never met or seen restaurant staff with such kindness and genuine respect for their customers. The ambience here is very classy and calming, and don’t even get me started on the food. The food was AMAZING and we are so happy we came. We will definitely be back soon to try the regular menu. Thank you Tojo’s for a fabulous dining experience!

If you are a seafood crazy lover then you must not miss this place. Though expensive but worth enjoying dishes prepared by one of the best japanese chefs in the city.

My friend took me here who himself is a vegetarian but he wanted me to experience it without realizing that i barely eat seafood except prawns.

Their whole seating capacity is quite huge and mix of bar, booths, dinning tables and high tables with couches. Marvellously laid open kitchen where the chefs along with head chef prepare your sushi or ur special dish for you. Drinks menu has everything but most interesting was desert sake which tasted sweet and had less alcohol or not enough to hit you. We didn’t eat anything outstanding as we sticked to vegetarian food except wagyu n let me tell u, it was amazing. It was so soft and chewable, full of flavours and immensely pleasable to tastebuds.

The best and most commendable was their hygiene conscious staff. All members from chefs to servers were wearing double masks, gloves and maintaining the distance between tables. Overall a good experience.

Excellent quality food, I recommend getting their Omakase if you're only going there once. Chef Tojo is an excellent cook and very accommodating, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for a date or a night out. Seating is limited and a reservation is usually needed. Parking is limited during peak hours, as it is mostly streetside but a parking garage is near walking distance. Very pleasant place to dine, go if you can.

Miku is bettee for the price. You can find better versions of the same foods at other places in Vancouver like zakkushi or mikus for a lower price. Service was nothing special either. Was not asked about the food or if I wanted more drinks

I've never been much of a fine dining type of guy but I had an excellent experience. The food was full of complex flavours and textures and artfully plated. I've never had chicken so tender in my life, nor sushi so buttery soft and fresh. I will be back one day.

We had a late dinner here on our recent trip to Vancouver. This is an excellent restaurant. Our food was exquisite. We ordered several different sushi rolls and got some sake to drink - everything was delicious. The highlight of the meal was the hamachi - both of us loved it! The ambience and service were both outstanding. It is a beautiful upscale restaurant with a great vibe. We were well taken care of by our waitress all evening. On the way out, one of the sushi chefs came from behind the counter and shook my hand, then gave me a bro hug! Hilarious. It is a VERY expensive place. We spent well north of what we normally spend but I do not regret it at all.

I've been to this top notch restaurant twice. It is a high end sushi restaurant with food supplies exported from Japan. It is a sushi experience that you will remember for years to come. I had Mr. Tojo's tuna special and it was out of this world. The tuna melted in your mouth and was devoured quickly. Mr. Tojo sure knows his sushi and how to prepare an unforgettable meal. Excellent service and meals. As I stated it's a high end sushi restaurant.

We visited this place for my husband's birthday. I chose it because apparently the food is great. I honestly was expecting to be wow by the food but it was alright. The portions were super small.

We ordered Toni's Favourites which is good to try a variety of things but portions are just enough for two people, but you would need to order more. It is not enough for two. Sake is super expensive

The whole dinner was 200+ with tip. We would not return as we didn't find it to be exceptional for the price.
